Hi guys, I reworked another car from Assetto Drive: the Ford GTX1

preview.jpg

https://mega.nz/#!6qAHhSIC!KeZAp3-I1kzZaCqBFkXwb9665jv4tyHwQyQ4rKZPRYo

CHANGELOG:
01) Changes to the appearance:
_Changed values of some car materials (mainly: rims, car body, glass and chromes);
_Added (kunos) license plates;
_Added skins (added kunos crew and driver suits too [skin.ini], as well as ac.crew files)
_New previews

02) Changes to the data:
_Reworked tyres
_Reworked suspensions (the mod had Ford Mustang suspensions)
_Removed the possibility to change the final gear ratio
_Fuel tank repositioned
_Corrected fuel consumption
_Corrected Pit stop values
_Removed Traction Control
_Removed Auto-blip on downshifts

03) Miscellaneus changes:
_setup menu changed (the options that can be managed have been uniformed to the kunos equivalent [ie: you can't expect to be able to modify the fast rebound on a road car)

It seems "reworked times" here !

Lancia LC2 (1985)

Link to the car

- Glowing brakes to remove,
- Horn to remove,
- Fuel consumption "from outer space" (around 9 liters/lap on Imola "Kunos Version"),
- Gears,
- Turbo Boost,
- More options in setup... and I forgot a lot of other things ! ^^

Good night and... good luck ! ;-)

EDIT
Some history about the car. ;-)

Strange :\
There are 15 skins in the folder. Can you please check if there was an error during the installation? (or maybe in the download)

It was the first thing I checked - all the skins seem to be there.
The Roadster M doesn't have a preview - I wonder if that's it?

Edit:, ah, 'alternative car UI' has been added as a separate car during the install (CM drag 'n' drop'). File structure issue maybe?

Edit: OK, just dragging the zip file into CM creates an extra car from the 'alternative UI' folder. Unzipping the file first and dragging JUST the GTX1 Roadster folder into CM works. No issues with skins, everything loads.
:)

@Apexxer

You can make car templates with content manager:

Click select a part of the body in custom showroom, on the right window hit the 3 little dots on the top entry.

Select show Mapping (if i'm not mistaking right now) and then it should open the wire-frame of the selected part.
Save that and repeat for the rest of the body parts. Afterwards merge them together in photoshop and thats basically it.

I think he meant that all he had left to do was add AI and cams when he heard ACF was doing the same track. It was what was holding the track up.
He's done them now for release. Makes sense?
Ah, ok. ACU did a good job, but that should not be surprising. My only annoyance is the 3D grass. It's not blended well with 2D grass; sticks out like an eye sore. Looking forward to ACF's version.

Does anyone have ACFL's F1 1994 mod? Is it any good?

This is an awesome version of this track! Much better than the version I had...

I have a question in regards to skinning if anyone could provide some info or guidance it would be greatly appreciated!
Past few days I have been working on increasing the resolution of a skin, primarily logos but have also been cleaning up lines and all at pixel level. My only issue now is that I have a few number plaques to finish and I don't know what font to use for the number 16. I have searched through all my fonts in CS but have only found a font that works for the number 1 but none that I have seem close to the number 6. Is there a general font that most these numbers are done in? Or maybe someone knows what fonts these are in?

full

While messing with this car I created another skin for it that I thought was cool and wish to share with you all :lol:
This is the first skin I have made for AC besides editing skins. Could use some work on the front end but overall I like the color gradient :mischievous:

Helvetica and Arial Bold is the usual font for "standard looking numbers"

select the number layer in photoshop; open the font browser and select the font type (name) in it while the number 16 is selected on its layer... then start scrolling through the font names, until You find a match.
The appearance of the number will change as you scroll trough the font list ;)

have fun!

The Aperta update has broken instruments, by the way. I'm guessing the info got lost in the one I uploaded - missing fonts maybe?

@delpinsky I'll have a look for the original download zip (someone PM'd it to me on FB, I think - the original mod has been deleted) and see if I can retrieve the fonts (I'm assuming that's what's causing the issue with the instruments?).

LOL I didn't even check about instruments though.. I'm out now, so I'll check later.
It should be written in one of the data files by the way

Hi

I really like your physic rework but the flames are now broken. Texture folder contains no more flames sub folder and even when replacing it by the original files, flames still doesn't appears.

edit : adding original flames.ini and flame_presets.ini in data folder, and adding origiinal texture folder and flames sub folder restore flames exhaust.

Can youi tell me exactly what doesn't work on the LaFerrari Aperta on your side?
As you can see from this picture, the instruments work just for me.

upload_2019-2-11_22-1-8.png

There you go, ferrari_laferrari_aperta\data\digital_instruments.ini
FONT=599_big
FONT=599_mid

download font 599
Just copy the font into content\fonts folder
