hi to all , since the author does not have time for the moment to finish the inside of the 320i BTCC , I wanted to give him a hand , but when I wanted to resume my work this morning all is breaking inside the car?! , so now I don’t have time to finish , I’ll leave you the project if someone finds the time to finish it , thank you

Someone knows if theres a way to Use the Revenga R13 always with LDF kit for opponents? idk perhaps changing some ini file or something

It has been posted a billion times but still, the kit changes automatically when you lower your downforce. If you set the downforce a value lower than 2, it switches to the LDF body (Some VRC magic).
 
Here is what I am working with. It is the URD PX1 Aura

I had this similar issue aswell, someone from csp helped me fix it ages ago. I might just be able to send you the updated files for the Audi as i cant remember how to fix it.
It is one of my favorite cars however havent driven it for quite some time, loved the front aero kit it had start of that year. Shame URD never finished that pack properly.

Unless I'm completely misunderstanding the situation, you're modelling the interior of an unfinished car by another mod team without their knowledge and/or consent, even after they've made it clear that the car is still in development?
This breaks so many codes of ethics I don't even know where to begin.
Call me old fashioned but you run the real risk of offending PM3DM beyond measure. Why not approach them first and ask if they actually want you to do this? You might be pleasantly surprised or they might think it's a terrible idea, but at least they'll have an opportunity to comment before the fact. You might save yourself a bunch of work too - for all we know the interior might already be in progress.

Ferrari 212 Export Vignale Spyder -- STEERING RATIO about double what it should be.

I finally had a chance to test this car. Very nice model and the suspension feels great. However, a 45-degree turn shouldn't require turning the wheel 90-120 degrees. There's no way the real car could require turning the wheel this much--I've driven a few vintage cars IRL. I'm driving with a wheel that's similar in size (and style) to the real car. I don't experience this with other similar mods.

I couldn't find the original post about this release to reply or quote it--searched several times.

You did not understand what im asking... Im asking for making a default setting for opponents since is kinda by chance now , if you race against 4 revenga perhaps only 1 has LDF kit and the others are HDF kits.

the track is really amazing but version available for AC is very outdated.
Somebody have created a new updated version of this track?

Unsure of a direct solution for the headlight issue, and as you say, its primarily affecting non-kunos car mods, it could well be related to the influx of ongoing updates for CM, CSP, SOL... Try and isolate the issue by reviewing CSP settings ingame...

For a quick workaround without touching the car-data-files, you could use the ingame solution - as follows:

The VRC Ariel is used here as an example.
- open the 'Sol Plan Selector' app
- if app-window already expanded - skip - next step...
- otherwise click down-arrow to expand app-view - like so...

The green-selection area shows a sliding bar setting for the headlight-range (for whatever car-mod you may be using - hence, changes are mod-specific).

I've parked the car in a dark spot to showcase this example - notice the home at the far distance (centred within the selection area) - by default the headlight range is set at 50%.

Set at 300% - now reaching the far distance home... (you could almost see what's cooking through the kitchen window - humour)

Other headlight-related tips:
- check CM/settings
-> car instruments
-> weather FX
-> lighting FX

You should check "controlled by SOL" in SOL config app (CSP lights). If ticked, the headlights are way more dimmed.

I was driving the car this morning and I completely agree. I wasn't able to do as much track testing as I would have liked. It's a simple fix: Velo and I will consult over what the best values should be and incorporate them into the next update (there are a few other little tweaks needed).

Thanks for your feedback. I agree the suspension feels right. Some people have been dismissive of Velo's approach to physics in the past. I think he gets it pretty right most of the time.
 
Does anyone know where to get the normal version of COTA's track map icon thing? This one does not look like the others & im not a fan of this style so i prefer the normal Kunos style.

Can anyone give me suggestions if there is a better version available or any skins/extension I can download to make the 2 tracks better.

@Fanapryde don´t know to whom this to address to, so please excuse if wrong, but is there a chance RT could release Most2019 also without the chicane as an additional layout and also have a look onto the ugly cars beeing placed next to the start/finish straight on the grandstand? Seems this was meant to be like an advert for Skoda in real life but currently it looks rubbish.

The adding of the extra layout has been discussed. We decided not to include it as it isn't in use anymore since 2005 and this version represents the actual track. But it won't be much trouble to add it... I can suggest it...

About the car junk yard...I know it's not really pretty but it will be too much work to make it look like IRL :D

Well, i believe all of those tracks exist in AC but probably not RaceRoom converts. Motegi is a paid mod, Ningbo is under the name Yongcheng, Zhuhai was done but no links are reachable (disregarding the crap version) and there was a Zheijang mod. I don't know where you can find Zheijang but try RD and the search funciton here. I agree with you though. Alternatives, or even better versions of these tracks, are always welcome! :D

I am aware they all exsist, but they all suck compared to R3E track models, especially if it's being converted by the Reboot Team.

I don't know about the opponents because i never tried it with ai or other people. My silly *** thought you and the others asked about the car you are driving and not the opponents. So, i'm sorry about that. And yes it is very nice to drive. Couldn't compare the pace between the other prototypes but it is very stable and has a lot of grip.

just yesterday after downloading the last 2 works of reboot team, i thought it would be extraordinary pergusa fixed by them ... also i have a friend who lives 200 meters from the path, who knows i throw the pebble

The Yas Marina is v1.05 you've posted. Best version.

Hey guys, a quick question: which cloud render method is the best? 2d clouds, sol's clouds or Ilja's tweaked default implementation? (I have a low-end computer so that might be important i guess?) Thanks for any replies in advance. 👍

One more small step for the full acptown tour with functional ai around the track.

This works, in weekend mode, in practice, whit full grid you have cars around the track,
that is the idea.


Now I know exactly what I have to do, I will do a full tour of the entire track, but not the longest because that way the cars separate more and you have less feeling of driving with traffic.
