It's mental that that cheat(all wall riding) still hasn't been rectified considering all the updates!
But you have to see what it is for what it is.

None of the fast/good/decent streamers do it, none of the fast silent leaderboard assassins do it, it's the sort of people I'm moaning about and Gurzu posted a video about. These are people that don't want to race or be the best, they want to win and more worryingly they don't care as much as we do.

No game or competitive sport is immune to this sort of stuff, and it's easy to lay blame at PD but it's not their fault people act like cock wombles, not saying in doesn't need a lot of improvement but it's the cock wombles that are more of a problem than the penalties and I'm a massive penalty moaner!

Since no intel about next week is available, I humbly do my predictions:

A- Autopolis, tuned cars, SS tyres.
B- Red Bull Ring, Gr.3, RM tyres.
C- Spa, Gr.1, RS tyres.

I noticed that, quite often, the tracks of the weekly challenges in single player are then used in the following week for dailies. Let's see...

Had some good races at Road Atlanta over the weekend, apart from the people that naturally insist trying it where you shouldn't. This track is a magnet for that.

I tried one Race B but I just cannot be bothered with the track limits there. Shame because when the track was first introduced it became one of my faves. The GR.3 cars have also seemed weirdly unstable for me for a while and I dont enjoy them. Even at the TT at Daytona I dont feel comfortable.

Race A, week 3 will go down as one of my most favorite race combos in GTSport/7 ever. Just so much fun to be had out there...and in reviewing my friends list, I wasn't alone. Kudos to all y'all this week as everyone was putting down some smokin' times. I saw @Mc_Yavel , @Sum1s2pid , @brockie and a bunch of others that just kept chipping away at laps through the week. Not sure where the aliens were finding almost two more seconds, but I had fun lookin' for 'em. 😁

Got to meet some great racers out there. This was one of the fun ones...I posted 'Dropping back' in the pre-chat (was P2) and told everyone to have a great race. When the flag dropped, P1 and P3 decided to keep me company. Sans the mayhem and subsequent carnage at the hill on L1, the race was just a blast...I don't think a single one of us respected the speed differentials going in there. Lots of apologies and kudos after this one ended, lol:

This one was me making life harder than it needed to be but ended-up a fun race:

Hmmm, that's something new for me. Well the good news is we won't have to worry about the bad crazy drivers ramming the back of us during a rolling start. And the karts for Race A should be a good combination for the Tsukuba track.

Is there a certain technique to doing fast standing starts in this game? I remember the AI beating me pretty badly in the couple single player drag races I did.

Famine should be posting the article soon about the race information. Race C will most likely be a banger this week. Grid starts are very rare here. Now what meta car will people choose this time?

MR cars are quicker than FR, I agree with our friend @LogSwapper.

@SPDN Stefano There is, you have to choose the car that you think will have the most power and that will overtake a good amount of people once the race starts( during grid starts). Beware, if you move your car before the race begins you will get a false start penalty. And what Tazzy said about the traction control, and watching Tidgney's guide explaining it.

I might do some qualifying for Race B - I imagine that FF cars like the Audi TT Cup will be popular.
Gr4 BoP is broken. It's the Lambo...... again.

Race C looks good.

Standing start with FSC; RS tires; pit required (would likely have to pit anyway for tires); 11 laps (odd number of laps so one can't just put at the half way point); minor tuning available (which I am not a fan of but some people like it).

I do wish it was maybe two laps longer as there will be a healthy break in between. And maybe some weather... like it doesn't even have to rain but some clouds to break up the monotony of virtually always sunny weather in these races.

Regardless, should be a fun C this week.

Ah, gotcha. Might just skip this week, then, and instead focus on the two online time trials I haven't attempted yet, plus this Wednesday's round of the GTWS Nations Cup Exhibition Series. Maybe I'll even do some of the weekly challenges, too.

EPIC FAIL
Sorry, can't start this week until last week's laundry is done...😁

Being the MX-5 junkie I've apparently become, I decided to get a couple more in before the races switched over last night. Landed in a lobby with some great people/drivers (Doodle, LAN, etc.). I joined with zero warm-up so put two off at T1 on L1. Groovy. Recovered for a P3 finish so still good.

Next race, not so much. Picked up a penalty L1. Doodle got alongside as we're headed into T1 on L2, I was inside. Ended-up losing the car a bit and shoving them into the pasture. Total bonehead move that could've been avoided. So, all that said...

@Doodle I'm sorry for ruining one of the last Race A's we had for the week. Felt like a complete tool.😔

Just watching Rory's live stream during my lunch break, Race C looks like bloody good fun 👍 It seems a bit of a Genesis fest which is a pain because I really can't get on with it. Even he seemed to struggle with understeer and then random snap oversteer. Actually looking forward to getting on this evening 👍👍

Oh this isn't me. I'm aware that there's another person named Doodle out there that does daily races though. I didn't even touch Race A the entire week

Race C sounds good but not a fan of settings changes (i'm here to drive and race not faff about) and also settings are not retained race to race?
FWIW, last time we had settings available in Gr.3 I spent the better part of the week making minute changes and dialing stuff in. Accidentally started a qualifying session w/out updating settings and set a time almost a tenth faster than I had done with settings. I ran stock for the weekend.🤣

Obviously individual results will vary. But, and in my experience, missing 'the ultimate tune' won't keep you off the podium.👍

Thanks for taking the time to clarify!!

First day trying the new alt-account: Well the grid start on C caught me out 🤣 pole to 5th on T1, then dead last after T2 chaos, but came back for win due utter carnage and penalties and many quitters ahead.

B is quite good fun, but back to AWD everything again. It feels Gr4 just has way too much grip? Or maybe it's just after skating around doing laps on A and B last week? 🤔

I did a few NSX laps and Lambo laps and the grip in both of them feels absolutely massive. I don't know if it's the track temp but you can full throttle out of the hairpin with zero wheel spin. (You don't get a good line for the next left mind you :P)

SH would be to slippy SM are just as grippy thinking back to the tuned road cars at TM which basically what Gr4 is any way but without most of the interior.
