Hello! I have a problem with the driver models, they are missing. Help me please! Cars: F-1 2009 from SimDreams and Jaguar XJR-9 LM#3 from RTM.Thank!

This is the v4.0 of The Rollovers Endurance Pack (that includes the new Vantage GTE 2018). The cars are all really good - mainly because they're all remixes of stock Kunos GT3 and GTE cars (aero, suspension, engines). That having been said, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the M8 actually includes proper slip indicator lights (a real rarity in a mod). Of course, since it's based on the KS C7 GTLM (which has those indicators IRL), it should ;)

I didn't see any prohibitions for posting a direct link, so here it is. These guys do some good work. Joining their group is free/easy: http://therollovers.it/

I donated 5 euros to their cause :)

all that work and they got the mirrors wrong,:P, anyway find the proper mirrors.ini attached.
And: The car drives pretty much the same as the ACR version. With the added bonus of something wonky on the front end because now the FFB is way too strong (I had to turn it down to below 50% on my TM TSXW).

Both this version and the ACR one both seem firmly rooted in Controller-Using Fantasy Land: As much front end downforce as a modern GT3 (at least it feels that way) and so much rear grip (plus traction control - on an RWB?!?) that they're nearly impossible to spin.

I guess it's fun, but it's not exactly representative of what a hot-rodded 993 would feel like (for one thing, it wouldn't have the high levels of front downforce in particular - and yet very little drag - exhibited by this car).

To give you some idea: This car is 7 seconds faster than a 2015 GT3 RS at Watkins Glen. 7 seconds. Even running on slicks, that's a lot for a tuned 993 vs the best track day car that Porsche itself can deliver.

Looks cool though ;)

PS - Can one of you wizards look at the aero data, or maybe how sticky the tires are?

Does anyone here enjoy driving electric cars in AC?
Meaty audio is such an important part of the overall experience for me, so electric cars just leave me cold.

I don't mind tossing the Tesla Model S around from time to time, but since my library consists 99% of ICE cars...

Normally, it would be a big NO from my side... but I recently got V_R_C's Formula Lithium (= FIA Formula E).
Can't say I'm a huge fan, but slamming that thing around Barcelona City is not really a bad experience. The "sound" seems spot on, the car looks good, is a bit tricky to drive, but all in all good fun.
So now I have ONE electric car in my library. Won't be driving it a lot though, but still...:D

A little something that is not all that available.
It is not perfect, but has a high fun factor :)

Edit:
my own link removed. Car is now available for download on Assettoland and Assetto Corsa car mods. As it seems, they read here too... :D

I enjoy driving anything with wheels. I love a good sounding engine too, a boxer engine with a proper exhaust gives me a trouser crisis, but it's like the pepperoni on a pizza and while a pepperoni pizza is the ultimate topping, a pizza without pepperoni can still be quite tasty.

Have you ever driven one in real-life? My dad has a Tesla Model S 90D, I have owned a lot of sports cars (currently drive a 2017 WRX) and driven even more, very few of them have been more exciting to drive than that Tesla. I've only experienced acceleration like that on amusement park rides, and for being big and heavy it actually takes the turns very well. Seriously, that not-so-loud pedal still makes me giggle every time I punch it. Not to mention all the cool tech that's the icing on the cake. One drive and you'll have a different outlook on electric cars, I guarantee. :)

Maybe in real life I'd like that instant acceleration and silent ride, but for sims? Naaaah. Not for me. I can drive a whole host of super-fast cars with great sound in sims. I don't see the point of electric cars in sims apart from the novelty factor. Fuel consumption and environmental concerns aren't important when driving pretend race cars, but a visceral, thrilling and immersive experience is, and I just don't get that from silent battery power.

Im not big on electronic racing either, just think that the Formula E mods are pretty good for competitive racing against the AI, unless you hit the power mode, cause AI doesnt use them.

True enough. That's just my standard response to electric car hate. I guarantee most petrolheads would sing a different tune if they got the chance to drive a Tesla, and I'm not alone in that belief. If you enjoy driving, you will enjoy driving a sporty electric car very much, I have zero doubt about that. It also makes plenty of cool electric car noises when you're in the cabin. :)

i like em. sounds of cars in game/ irl arent a high priority for me as long as the is actually good to drive. i hate it more when manufacturers add fake car noises to their vehicles to make it sound "meaner". feel like professional ricing imo.
