in the video description is a torrent link for all of the 1600 cars shown in the video. I guess you could get all by searching through the internet but if someone just wants to have like all cars all at once.....
EDIT: not my video btw

I think a lot of Facebook modders seem to be using every excuse these days to get precious about their work as if it's some form of high art, and not a ripped model from another game with Kunos physics copy-pasted. It's hilarious, all these 'private mods' and infighting between FB groups.
completeley different topic but doubleposts are not allowed here for some reason.....

I totally agree with you that taking a model and putting 1:1 kunos physics from another similar car on the model isnt very difficult. However your argument is invalid because your point doesnt apply on Guerilla mods because they tweak the physics themself and even modify the 3D model which takes hours and hours. Still I think too that guerilla (or BZ simworks) kinda think they are some sort of gods because they get litterly worshiped in their FB group which is pathetic if you ask me... and that they somehow dont share their mods anymore and remove links of them from their own group and make updates to the cars but dont actually release them to the public..... strange people

What mirror problems do you have ?
I don't have the car but perhaps help with a hint re. mirrors ?

There are both sides to the medal.
As you mention there are some people on facebook doing very quick and dirty mods where a visually ok rip is performed and copy paste job physics are applied, then there are people who actually make an immense effort to sort the physics, improve the visuals with working with materials, shaders, textures and do a lot of testing and revisions.

It takes indeed an immense effort to build physics for good quality cars, just the collection of data and studying of materials can take weeks, sometimes months and physics are developed and refined along newly found data.
For example does it take me about a full weeks time of spending the evenings just to build and test a full featured shader patch config, adjust the respective files related to lighting, textures, etc to get just the lighting just right - again that is JUST for the lighting.

That is a huge amount of work these more serious people spend. For them I can fully understand to have beef with people who then go along and simply rip their work, share it under a new name without even acknowledging the people involved in some cases even go so far and SELL these mods.

I understand how these guys have a chicken to cook with each other. It is unfortunate that with these kerfuffles a lot of people get left by the roadside. I was a member in the old Guerilla Mod fb group and had some nice conversations with Timo and Immanuel around the physics of the M6 GT3 and yet because I am in many other groups I was as many others silently excluded from the GM group without any discourse to get back in. I never understood that.

Uff sorry guys.
Everything seems to be well done, but I don't have an F1 Challenge. The Lola looks good too. Add Halo to your F1 Challenge cars a it will be F1 from the future:lol:

They share almost-identical dashboards (with very minor hard-to-spot differences) in reality though, so that's no biggie for me. It's a huge improvement over this mod's previous dashboard, that's for sure.
I'd say this is Assettopedia's best work to date, it's a fun little car.
Hopefully they can find a better model of the Stratos and totally rework that one.

Obiously, it's the same car...

No worries mate, but you must admit those extra stealth files in the download are a little suspicious.

I remember that Lakeside track from at least a year ago. That helicopter frozen in space is a dead giveaway... ;)

I wouldn't worry too much about posting direct links unless they belong to the content creator (ie the original modder). Sites like that just harvest content from other sources, nothing is original.

Static chopper aside, is the track any good for casual cruising?

That Clio V6 isn't great. What a shame, I love that little beast.
If you want a good laugh do a spec race with a bunch of them (Spa is good) and watch the fireworks. They are almost constantly firing showers of sparks, despite not looking particularly low to the ground.

I love it too, this is one of the mods I'm planning to rework, indeed.. I'll try to make it better!

Track
FAIR WARNING
For Canadians only, the track does not have AI, lap timer, just a basic representation of the different layouts, that you will need to know in advance. I am just glad to have representation of a track I have been driving on.
Hopefully one of our resident modder can update it.:D

There's two more of those MB 300 SLRs on the AP site. All are pretty good..!

https://assettopedia.forumfree.it/?f=64927075

For all of them I'd recommend opening the cars in CM Showroom and changing the ksAmbient on the leather seats from 0.4 to 0.15 to make them look more like old maroon leather rather than day-glow bright red vinyl... ;)

For some reason the default driving position is way behind the driver, but this seems to be a feature of AP cars. No idea why.

@APT the cover that you've added over the passenger seats on one or two of the cars needs better modelling. It doesn't follow the shape of the bodywork and it's just a flat skin with no 'thickness' next to the driver. It really stands out in VR, especially where there's a gap at the front.

Guys, I just returned from vacation and found that sol 1.1.1 was out. I downloaded and installed it; now AC crashes! Does anyone know how to get rid of this update and back to version 1.0?

wrong driving position maybe because I set it with a monitor 21:9
