look up the combo on youtube, some people do game benchmarks. should give you an idea of performance.
Yeah can't see any for AC standard let alone he various possible CSP etc combos.
If i may be so bold, your system in your sig, what can you get from that in AC?

For example kunos grid on kunos track how many AI?

Damone 13X hangs out here also and he has a folder with most of his shares in it.

Yes He goes by a different name on the facebook page. Thanks for your help and also SuyoGG for the Mega folder. There are still tracks on their facebook page that are not included in this Mega folder. These are just the tracks that Damone 13x enhanced-but helps allot. i guess the Nascar facebook webpage is not taking anymore members or facebook has me locked out.

I corrupted my old facebook account so had to create a new one.

take care.

Hello bro, i accepted all today requests. Anyways almost all of the group tracks are in my mega folder they linked.

Hope you enjoy them, and there are more to come cheers.

Is there a TA2 that exists for AC? Because I want to do this livery for it.

Ugh... I don't think so. At least not yet, maybe. The Assetto Corsa Nascar FB group had some previews from a NR2003 conversion, but I don't think it has been released yet. That has been a few months since I've seen the previews.

TA2 is sorely lacking in Sim racing.

AC will be fine

Don't know if this has been posted here before, but I noticed that ASR's F2 Championship 2017, the car that used to be a paymod, has now become a free download. I feel it's maybe a neglected car, often seen as inferior compared to RSS ones, but I for one think it's a nice car and nice addition to anyones AC-garage.

The version is listed in the Author field. Download: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...ral-discussion.307899/page-2671#post-13448728

The mod includes some extra files (shaders, fonts, extra textures) that should be installed with the mod. If you drag and drop the archive into Content Manager and install it from there, everything should be put into the right place. You have Custom Shaders Patch installed, right?

Thank you !! Works perfectly:)

RSS and VRC made 500 cars between them?? I clearly missed something. So...

link?
I used AC Tuner for the Sounds on the formula hybrids cause i get the mega pack so that'll be 5 x 8 which will be 40 for them (that includes the default sound aswell and the s1 cars), the GTs which adds it to 50 (if i'm not wrong it's an extra 10), Include the extra cars like the F2s, f3 and f4 along with the indycar that'll be atleast 5 more so that's 55ish cars from RSS. All free f1s from VRC which is atleast 8??? the 3 LMP1s, the Indycars/CARTS which is an extra 4 the LMP900s which is another 4 the 2 GTO's so around about 30 of them which makes about less than 90 cars from VRC and RSS.
edit the 1000s thing will include the RMS stuff as in the reworked cars

So i am going for an i5 10400f, RTX 3060 8GB, 16 RAM.
That will monster most games at at 1080p right? including AC with full bells and whistles on CSP and big grids?
Hoping it will run MS flightsim too as that is my main reason for getting it.

Sacrilege i know but I'll be running 60hz as that is what my TV pushes out. I am happy at 60hz, but yeah this system should kill AC?
That cpu isn’t great for single core usage. Don’t get me wrong it’s not bad. But it will more than likely perform worse than you’re expecting especially paired with that GPU. Full grids in all but the most optimised cars will struggle. I’d suggest going for a chip a few models up, the i5 10600kf isn’t a great deal more if you can afford a few more quid. Or save up for a little longer, it will be well worth it.

This mod was released today with many positive comments thus far, so thought best to share its origin with GTP - as other mods from ORSG are great (imo)... Porsche 911 964 Beta Version

This track is very good but the only problem is the ai behaviour especially in the pin.
That depends on the cars you are racing against. Sometimes the ai is great, sometimes there are some flaws.
T11 hairpin (aka Dip Diablo) is such a spot where trouble can occur.
Not much that can be done I'm afraid.

Yeah, as long as appropriate cars are selected I think it's pretty good under difficult circumstances.
eg. if F1 cars don't behave there then either create your own F1-specific AI or... race slower cars and still have lots of fun.

Here are some ideas for you:
RAM is cheap, so add some more.
Make sure the opponent cars have LODs. Use that new LOD generator if they don't (although it's not as efficient as cars that came with hand-made LODs).
Under Graphic Adjustments in CM, there are some LOD adjustments available (like forcing LOD B, dropping the multipliers below 100%, forcing low-res cockpits and low-res drivers, etc)
Try making the opponents all the same model of car (not a mixed grid).
Use skins with lower resolution textures (so nothing 4K).
Drop your screen resolution (keep full-screen mode on).
Disabling post-processing and some CSP features might help (only if they were increasing RAM usage).
Make sure absolutely no other programs (except Steam) are running in the background to preoccupy the RAM (no internet browser, no documents, no pictures or videos; nothing you're not using to play AC).
I'm sure there's other stuff I can't remember right now...
@Luca959
I hope the above was helpful, and I thought of a few more (might eventually come up with a complete list).

The more recent CSPs have an in-game FPS app that tells you what processes are chewing up hardware resources (so you know exactly what to turn off, or at least turn down).
Before launching your game, deactivate every in-game app that you're not absolutely in need of while driving (also disable dev mode apps)
Disable/lower all of AC's standard visual candy (I'm sure you already have). Even shadows and reflections can be expensive.
Limit FPS to roughly 20-25% above your target (stops the PC working harder than it needs to, which also makes it run hotter).
Make sure the PC's cooling is adequate (they slow down for self-protection when they start getting hot). There are various tools for monitoring this like CPUID HWMonitor that you can run in the background as a test, or load straight afterwards to check the current readings.
Along with the above, overclocking can sometimes be counterproductive. You get a small performance gain at the cost of a lot of heat, which in turn slows it back down if the cooling isn't amazing.
Choose a more optimised track (one that's smaller overall, or a version that has older lower-res textures, or was built with less objects).
Run in dry daylight (lights and rain can get a bit expensive too, so can grass FX for that matter).
And if all of that still wasn't enough, run fewer AI cars until you can arrange a CPU upgrade.
I wrote piece on making a budget gaming machine from an ex-business SFF PC. Probs only useful for people starting out from nothing though (also prices are Aussie $ and what I found back in April).

Interesting Frankenstein Porsche! It needs a more aggressive front facia to match its badass behind :D The RWB style tall rear spoiler is a bit too much for a race car imo. Nevertheless, a very interesting project.
