@Jody Parks sx_lemans track boundaries are really restrictive. you get penalty very easy. you could have included more kerbs.View attachment 818896

I'm sorry about that. I am redoing them in order to achieve your preference. I must admit to creating them somewhat hastily in order to get the track race ready. I'm still learning and will make sure to allow curb use from now on!

Thank you. Track Limits at Le Mans are very lenient, due to multiclass.

...I've recently discovered that it's easy to darken tracks in real time using the Sol weather configurator app.

Thanks. Very useful info for me. Until I was changing exposure with Page Up/ Page Down, but with SOL that is kind of hit and miss lately.
And I failed to discover that there was a page two in the SOL config... :embarrassed: ... until now... 👍👍👍

Btw guys, don't set your hopes too high on these Hexormods tracks...:indiff: ... or maybe I am just spoiled... :D

just tried one of them.. these seems to be just simple conversions... a good base to mess around them for the ones that like retexturing, playing with materials, adding new objects, etc... the important thing is that they work (at least the one I tried), so, for some better experience, some light modding of the tracks is required.

Perfect for messing around if you lack the knowledge of doing a full conversion from start to end.
Thanks to the "Hector" guy !

Here are the four sx_lemans layouts with revised wider track boundaries. Again, thank you for the feedback as that breeds my improvement!
Unpack the file into your tracks folder and overwrite if asked.

Just an Off Topic headsup - F1TV archive is not worth it, for most seasons there are only 3-4 full races. which does not help with a mod im planning :D

It is a nice addition, but (laserscanned ?) it is VERY smooth. I have absolutely no feel in my DD wheel. Posted it in the support section, let's see what they will say.
There seems to be an issue with AI too, but I have not raced yet, just some practice laps.
its from 2016, the real track. and the guys making it run that simulator where we looked for the Kia a while ago.

New asphalt is normally very smooth, so maybe it's correct. I had some good races against the AI in the Mono.

More to the point, where's ACU's Autosport Speedway that was supposed to be out before the weekend? ;)
@LiquidSkyMan - you were just teasing us, yes..?

Got an answer from these guys:

Ragnar Simulator
Hello! Yes, you are right. :) The Silesia Ring track is totally smooth and flat like a glass in real. We made the same in virtual version. It is not mistake. Regards. :)

And a question from Brownninja97 about the cars:

I was wondering there are several mods such as a Kia Picanto and Mitsubishi Lancer Evo that are exclusive to the ragnar simulator, will that always be the case?
Ragnar Simulator
Hello! Yes, these cars are intended for use only in Ragnar Simulator Sim Center in Częstochowa or Gdynia. Regards!

Naw, it's coming out, he's releasing it very soon along with a patch for Okutama. (No I don't know what the patch is for either :)) I thought it would be out by now, sorry for stirring things up :embarrassed: It really shouldn't be much longer now.

Ha ha... no worries, I was only pulling your chain. :)

I think the Okutama patch might be to add some missing trackside camera gantries and maybe incorporating the balloons and billboards.

Oh ur right he did say something to me about that the other day, yeah the cameras, that's what it was, said he was gonna upload that and Autosport from the office @ work, hopefully today or tomorrow maybe?

Thanks for the update! It's always an exciting time when we know a new ACU track is incoming.
Did he have any joy extracting GT Sport tracks, by the way? I think you said he was going to take a look at it. I'm guessing it's not that easy to achieve otherwise we'd have seen a whole bunch of tracks since October (?) last year when it was first apparently done.

I imagine converting anything GT Sport related must be extremely difficult. I tried to convert an Alfa Romeo 4C Gr.4 car from GTS to AC and couldn't figure out for the life of me how to put the interior inside the car instead of it looking like it was trying to fly back to GTS. Maybe the model was sentient and realised I was working with it so it tried to fly away which in that case it's probably for the best :lol:

In that Shaun Clark video I'm pretty sure I saw a Mini Challenge car in there, is that mod available publicly and if so does anyone know where I can find it? I've been wanting that car in AC ever since I saw it at Oulton Park this year.
While I'm at it does anyone have the Navi Street Cars Liberty Walk Toyota Prius? I've seen skins for it on RD and when I tried searching for it on their Facebook page I couldn't find it. Does anyone have a download link for it?

Let's see, About a week or so ago, He was downloading the torrent for GT Sport so he could start looking into extracting tracks. The DL was 45+GB. I don't know what kind of DL speed he has, so that had to be DL'd and he's also working on Targa Florio, a version of Le Mans (an abandoned version someone gave permission to update, that's all I know 4 now), the Okutama patch and soon Dubai Street circuit (I just did the track limits for that one, working on AI, but track limits have problems that ACU needs to fix with overlapping textures or something) Anyway, I ramble on too much sometimes, sorry  He hasn't mentioned any more about GT Sport to me yet. The last thing he was finishing up on Friday was the cams for Autosport Speedway. So he should be uploading it any day now along with the Okutama patch.

BTW I noticed that the track limits for the new Poland track Silesiaring were a little askew, I read somewhere back some posts, that there was an AI problem, could be related to the track limits being messed up. I just made new limits for it but not quite ready to upload them. Gonna race test it with the new limits see how the AI does. Will upload them here once all is running smoothly. I didn't make a new fast lane or pit lane, just the limits 1st. Maybe remake the AI line later if the AI cars need it.

It should be released in the next day or so as part of a large pack of his cars. It was supposed to be out a few days ago but I think some last-minute tweaks were needed. In the meantime the updated Ginetta Junior I posted as couple of days ago is well worth a play. It's a lot of fun. Shaun's 'official' update of that car should be in the upcoming pack as well.
