Kunos’ LMP1 cars, the 2016 Porsche made the track record, but I can’t go under the 3:23s, probably it’s all down to the ERS deployment, I don’t know

The trick is how to use/deploy the ERS. I rather set it in "charging mode" and use it as KERS.
The minus is your acceleration is slower, but you can deploy most of the battery on the mulsanne straight and the back straight on Circuit de la Sarthe.

This is correct. It's also how they really deploy ERS at Le Mans (on the straights exclusively). I'll try to find the article (I believe it was in Racecar Engineering print mag) where I read about it.

mod on assettoland that is ropey as hell, but by God it has the most wonderful sound i think i have ever heard in a sim.....
 
Hi, im new here and I have a question. I have downloaded the shaders patch on CM and when I set the time to night it isnt dark could anyone tell me why this is. thanks :)

But clears it with a warning:

It certainly is raw!
Absolutely love the noise it makes mega raspy and has an awesome reverb under bridges.

Whilst i as at it it has a co driver rally style, i want to get rid of the co driver reading a map with less enthusiasm than a prostitute, can it be done?

It can. Have not tried myself yet but:

get rid of the co-pilot, just open data\lods.ini and delete all the lines of LOD_1
 
Hi guys does anyone know of a tuned version of the MB A45 AMG??? :)
The Rollovers has one (MERCEDES A45 AMG CUP). Drives great. You need to register, but that takes 30 secs. Look in the Free Mods section.

Their mods often use Kunos physics, but are still very well done (I imagine a BMW M8 GTLM probably does have similar physics to a Corvette C7R, with the engine being the major difference).

The Autosport Speedway at 17:00 with the Kunos Supra brings back Gran Turismo 3 memories for me. Definitely gonna use it as a track in my Sunday Cup remake.

It needs some night lighting so I can relive some NFSU2 fantasies! :dopey:

This Toyota FT-01 Concept by Assettogarage edited by Velo & Assettoland has a purple opaque HUD with the shader patch.
Anyone able to fix it please? It's a funky car otherwise.

Not bad for a street car...I might even keep it ;)
Not sure if I get the same (my color vision is not the best according to my wife) :D

so, it does not look the same as in your version ?

This is what I get on both versions of the car. Changing the depth mode to 'read only' in the HUD material properties fixes it.

I've compared both versions and the Pepi869 version has better skins, better/brighter rear light glow, visual backfire effects, a working HUD rev counter... but the Velo/Assettoland has illuminated switchgear when the headlights are turned on.

What needs copying from the Velo version to add the illuminated switchgear to the Pepi one, but without borking the better/brighter brake lights?

Edit: the more I drive this car, the more I like it. It's almost OEM standard.
