Any chance of it not being locked behind RD?
Shame that so many free mods get locked away by having to sign up there...(or banned and losing access to free mods)
Why wouldnt you sign up? you can use 10minutemail if you dont want a real account....

Salvador Circuit reworked

Thanks.
I had that track (from thestrobe8) but it had no AI lines. I tried to make some last year, but I never succeeded in saving the pitline AI. And the fastline was not perfect either :(

Will try racing it tomorrow.
Still think the timing line is set on a strange place on track, I mean so short after a chicane...

yes, the timing is a bit broken, and you have to set 6 laps if you want to drive 5 cause the crossing the line on the start line counts.

I don't know how and where else it can be upped... but if someone can do it with a temporary link, it's ok for me....

Reg. the sx_lemans track floating around here, I don´t get it, why it is so special-I have the version from Racedepartment which is very decent I think. So what´s the difference apart being ripped from FM7? Is it better in any way? More accurate? Or what?

It is just a very well made track... perfectly mapped trackside objects, nice textures, well chosen materials, not to much, not to little... the track itself feels very good , so I'd say it deserves some "hype" .
'tho Le Mans 1967 gives a better feel IMO like Felberg and Targa Florio, despite being the opposite of sx lemans.

sx lemans is a perfection in geometry, but that "perfection" makes it also boring (at least for me)... It all depends what You are looking for.
If you like prefect builds, than yes, sx lemans is a very good candidate.... but if you like some artistic freedom and atmosphere, better go for "alternative" tracks ... luckily there is enough choice :)

Can someone send me a link for URD DTM 2018 car mod?
Dude, just pay for it. It's an incredible mod, easily as good as Kunos 1st-party content, and you can get all the correct 2018 skins at RD.

If you ever want more fantastic work like this (done with input from real DTM drivers and actual data from the cars), you have to support the people doing it. Otherwise, there won't be any more such content created. You'll kill your own hobby.

Hey Maki, does your Clio have any relation to this one (first post): https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/assetto-corsa-pc-mod-discussion.307899/page-226

Also, ACU is doing god's work converting GRID tracks. I hope they start converting more city tracks next (I read Dubai is WIP already?). Real tracks are nice but they've been done to death in other sims. Still a long way to go but some tracks already have rF versions if that makes it quicker. List here: http://blog.codemasters.com/grid/06/grid-autosport-track-list/

Keep the great mods coming guys 👍 I love it but also hate how much time I spend scouring this thread every week

What car did you use ?
I just did a few laps (at night) with a LMP2 Alpine A450 (2013 RTM reworked by @Apexxer ) and got a 03:38:92. (stock settings/Medium tires)
Compared to the fastest LMP2 qualifier at Le Mans in 2013 (Morgan Nissan) who managed 03:38.62, it does not seem far off.
The Alpine/Nissan in 5th place (LMP2) did 03:41.65.

Edit: Enjoying the new track version I just improved (daylight this time - same conditions) to 03:37:74; which would give me LMP2 pole in 2013. (No danger killing yourself if something goes wrong obviously helps)... :)

Kunos’ LMP1 cars, the 2016 Porsche made the track record, but I can’t go under the 3:23s, probably it’s all down to the ERS deployment, I don’t know

I have not spent much time in this car, but gave it a go (stock settings, medium tires, optimum track / 26°).
I'm not even close to your time (3:26) but as I was told a while ago on RD, Kunos LMP1 cars are rather slow. Maybe that could explain (part of) it ?
Also, the medium tires force me to attack corners a bit different than I would like, due to the sometimes harsh track limits (compared to RL). The M tires on the LMP2 seem to give more grip...oh well, not really enough time to 'tune' this car that is not really my favourite... ;)
But I still believe the track is spot on.

yeah, it all seems absolutely spot on, but i think the Kunos LMP1s lack hybrid energy halfway around the track.

Nurburgring 2001. Get it while it's up, it might be a rip and get nuked.

https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/nurburgring-2001.26725/

It's OK. This time he did not ask money for a password (which is why it got removed the first time it became available).
I really don't know what he was thinking back then. He made (converted) lots of classic tracks for free before...

Time to get into a vintage touring car and try it out.
Pleasant surprise ! :)
It looks rather good (not Feldbergring good mind you) and brings a 'classic' feel to the track. Roadfeel is allright too.
