Maybe it didnt expire but was abused instead. ;)

The mod is from @Arturi . ERL stole it like 99% of their mods. They're just like ScamDream.

I have the Porsche, I'm not sure if I can share it, just depends if @Arturi allows it

Thank you for sharing...

its awesome

Is it only me or the Alpine Renault A110 1600s drives like an F1 car? Even though i reduced the power of the brakes, from 2800 to 1800, still brakes too much. No understeer, no oversteer, just pedal to the medal and it goes like a train. Any help from the experts here? The graphics are SO good, it's just a shame it lacks the physics! Oh and thanks very much for the Mod! I am not complaining, just wish it was closer to reality, physics wise.
Didnt try it but! I would try changing the tires with the tire generator maybe?

The A110 1600s could benefit from a tire change to street tires for sure. It also has ABS and TC enabled in the files as well a a pretty wonky ai file just to name a couple things. Probably could use a little work to bring the vintage out in it.
Inertia is off. 80 liter tank in a car that has a 38 liter tank. Looking like it was intended as a fun fantasy 1600s.

Hi guys. I'm new in Gt Planet and I'm just learning how to use it. I love Assetto Corsa and f1 mods and I'm just asking you if someone can send me the track skin of the Mugello circuit of f1 and also of Silverstone and Austria. It would be a great help from you because as I say I am just now understanding what Gt Planet has been. Thank you 😁.

Another newbie question for the tree making experts. How come when I make a new tree texture, the trunk turns orange\yellow in the fall but it doesn't on the stock trees. I tried to compare my tree textures with a stock one and I don't see anything obviously different that would explain it. Is it something set in the model\object itself instead of the texture file?

So, I've been away for a couple of weeks, so I haven't been able to follow up through this until yesterday. Read through 50 pages to see what I've missed out on!

Anyways, I downloaded this and gave it a spin, however across all the track layouts, the layouts are still inherently the same as the '66 track: There's no chicanes. Through the early '70s Monza started adding chicanes, until we got to the layout used in the 'Monza 1988' version in 1976

Does the track have seasonal adjustments in the extconfig? Im not aware of anything that does that natively in AC?

I think it needs a custom shifting animation for it too. I've scaled and repositioned the driver but can I find a shifting animation that's even remotely close? Can I hell.
I tried moving the shifter height/angle a bit in Blender to suit the closest animation I could find but it's part of the chassis, not a separate object.

Yes it does and that's my problem. With the original track tree textures, the leaves turn color in the fall but not the trunk. With my new tree textures, everything turns color and I don't understand why because everything looks to be setup the same.

There's no setting because that's how it is and probably how it will remain.
I did a test with the surfaces.ini and reduced friction by half on the road and the AI lost about 40 seconds with friction to .49.
I wonder if its possible to dynamically adjust this with the rain.

The AI were super tentative.

edit... set it to.65 and they are sliding under braking into other cars in the corners and spinning out

The dials are gone when I use yours, but the original one has dials so you messed something up.

So interesting test...
Looked around and it suggests average traction loss in wet is about 20 to 30% so i backed up the surfaces.ini in the data folder and then adjusted all the frictions on the surfaces down about 20% and it seemed to create a similar experience for the AI as well.

If you are comfortable playing around with this I would be interested to hear any tests. Theoretically you could have a wet layout with the different surfaces to simulate it. Not really sure and would need more testing but in the hybrid it felt "glassy" and it was easier to lockup the wheels and the AI ended up like this...

could be possible to do a reasonable facsimile and the hybrid has no wet tires. not sure if that makes a difference or not.

so easy is up tp his old tricks of re-uploading other peoples works to his sharemods. i asked him to use the original link yesterday and he reluctantly changed it only to change it back 10 mins later. now hes began adding all my other cars to his site.
He also released a 924 the same day the good one came out 😆

i can understand if hes trying to become the next assettoland but doing that with sharemods links is petty, the payout is so low youd be better of hunting the footpaths for pennies. any mods released here he will poach.

i dont want to hide things behind a paywall, encrypt or go completely private but guys like him make me reconsider.

The next SimDream, surely? Assettoland credited the people who worked on the mods.
I personally stopped sharing mods here for the same reason. Its hard to motivate yourself to make something that could immediately get integrated into another mod and your name gets removed from it.

welcome to my world. That's why i encrypted my latest mod aka the R18, 919 and TS050 etc.

this ^^ I also do respect assettoland even though it's filled to the brink with pretty bad mods (no offence) atleast they have the decency to credit the authors of the mods. Even if my LMP mod goes up there which I have a feeling will happen (or not) they'll atleast credit me either way which I will be fine with.

I noticed that with some mods (Legion's Ariel Atom is a good example), my steering wheel rocks left to right (and back) constantly when driving. If I let it go, it goes violently from left to right (and back) and the car spins out of control.

As it thankfully does not happen with the majority of my cars in AC, it's not the general FFB settings but something in the settings of the car.
What do I need to adjust?
