The Porsche 356 RSR from Emory Motorsport - nicknamed "Outlaw" - is a hot rod using a stretched Porsche 356 body and Porsche 964 platform. Developed by Emory Motorsport and Momo, it was conceived as a modern hot rod with a strong power-to-weight ratio, weighing only 885 kg and offering 393 hp from a twin-turbo engine.
Amazing car, thank you but I have a problem with the AI.
The car doesn't leave the pits (weekend mode) and doesn't start in the race mode

Hello everybody,

I just discovered a small thing worth sharing. Lately I have been bothered by these little freezes whenever I exit a session in AC. They were 5-10 second at maximum, but the trend was that they were getting longer, I think. Any car or track, any version of CSP, when I went ESC and EXIT after driving, the game stuck for a while. FPS was solid all the time though.

Anyway, after a very long "trial and error" -type of research I managed to pinpoint the cause. I found out that the game was writing consumption.ini file that made it freeze. It's located in documents/Assetto Corsa/cfg/extension/state. So deleting it (or renaming it for safety) fixed the issue at least for me. And clearing that file doesn't seem to affect anything in the game, all the personal data gathered by thousands of cars and tracks seem to be untouched.

PS. After all this time, I think I love this game more every day. I am very thankful for all the great modders and anyone who has contributed to Our Driving Simulator, not forgetting the nice people who keep posting mods to this thread.

Hi All !
I have an issue with Tommy78 Ferrari F40 LM, when i'm on a race, all AI have a low suspension and strange behavior.
But for mine there is no issue.
Does someone have an idea to solve this issue ?
a screenshot of this low suspension effect in race :

Interesting - I wonder if this is also what causes micro-freezes that can happen when a CSP event is triggered for the first time during a race?
Be good to know exactly what this consumption.ini actually does.

Not sure what you mean so I wouldn't know. :odd:

Yes it would be good. Obviously the fuel consumtion and km traveled is saved in that file, but it can't be the only place for that data because like I said, overall distance traveled by a car ain't affected when you delete the file. Since the file is in extension-folder, it must have something to do with CSP-extensions, perhaps CSP-odometers..?

EDIT. I'll keep trying to figure it out.

Was really excited to see this! Used to volunteer there often and now being away from SA it's nice having the opportunity to drive it virtually!

I seem to have only one of these .ini files in that location and all values are 0 ? 🤔
Not that I suffer from these little freezes while exiting a session, but always after a fresh startup for a few laps. Thought this could maybe influence that too, hence my check...

I cant recall who mentioned it the other day about tuning the AI.ini file in the data folder. Im working on a hybrid car to match the VRC cars, what im noticing is that the car goes into the corners perhaps a little too fast for its grip, be it that it may not be looking far enough ahead? Or that it doesnt have enough steer gain? It seems to miss the initial turn in, the middle part of the corner is a wash out and then it cuts back in and exits tightly, fast corners it tends to understeer out wide and clip barriers. Here are the settings, which area should i edit to correct the mentioned issues?

It seems that not all CSP-versions write this consumption.ini -file, at least not the couple of latest free ones. Maybe that explains the zeros.

It's another CSP-issue at least in my end.

There's one thing in Assetto Corsa AD2022 that I don't enjoy: I find myself spending more and more time trying to find the specific version of CSP that works for a certain car and then swapping them back and forth as I change the vehicle.

I was running an online server last night for my racing group and the track, Gentrack 1 (by Sneer / updated by Assetto-fr.tk v1.1), the pit markers (where you stop) are halfway down and do not trigger pit actions. Easy fix? Or should I check Breathe's track list for a replacement?

This car come with a few flaws.
As 99% of new mods (from everyone, true) comes with something to fix,
I don't remember if I had to change the AI REVS up, or not. Worth a look at it.

Amazing car, thank you but I have a problem with the AI.

@petercrill I have the same issue as @Breathe mentioned a few posts higher.

Hi, if I understand you (but there’s a fair chance I don’t) the career tab is under Single/drive/career. To check the files look in content /career folder if this isn’t what you wanted - my apologies. Ps You may be able to re download with an integrity check as well

This may be of use as well applies to Career as well as Custom Championships

You understood very well. Thank you Cozy.
After checking your path, I got this empty as I thought.

That progress bar doesn't move.

But then, under 'challenges' I discovered this. Which tells me, I was looking for this in the wrong place.

1644769350011.png

I don't have 'career', but I have all the rest challenges.
:)

@pk3r72owns Quick TV Cams set for this track. I want to make more and maybe better tv cams (if possibile, due to the limitations of the track for the presence of fences, walls, and so on like for every city track), but this ones are working fine for the moment

EDIT: Cams updated with an extra closed-action cam ;)

DOWNLOAD
@CrisT86 Any chance of a re-upload of these cams? The track has been updated on Race Dept and still has no cams included 🤦‍♂️

Is there any tutorial about how to remove invisible wall somewhere?
Trento Bondone from Kunos got some where it shouldnt... :ouch:
Or is someone willing to update that track...

From MNBA:

Porsche 911 (964) Turbo 3.3 S Leichtbau IMSA 1993

View attachment 1113563

In 1992 the Special Wishes Department at Porsche announced the very exclusive 964 Turbo S Leichtbau. The first ever lightweight Turbo to be produced by Porsche.
In order to reduce the overall weight of the car sound proofing and undercoating were limited to minor amounts, power windows and power steering were removed, rear seats were removed. Fibreglass reinforced carbon composite panels were used for the doors, bonnet and rear wing. Thinner glass, RS bucket seats and RS door cards completed the weight saving. The Turbo S Leichtbau is 396 pounds lighter than a standard 964 Turbo.
In addition to the weight saving. Porsche also enhanced the engine giving the Turbo S Leichtbau an additional 61 horsepower over the standard 964 Turbo. This was achieved with more aggressive camshafts, new injection valves and more boost pressure.
The Turbo S Leichtbau has various handling and performance enhancements from the standard 964 Turbo. The car was lowered by 40mm, has upgraded brakes, 3 piece alloy wheels, an aluminium shock tower brace and a reinforced unibody. The fender vents were inspired by the infamous Porsche 959. Front bumper intakes were added to feed air to the oil cooler and front brakes. The Leichtbau also features a unique rear spoiler.

Definite improvement on the Geroda version. The physics/ffb has me wondering why I kept the Geroda version.

It's located in documents/Assetto Corsa/cfg/extension/state. So deleting it (or renaming it for safety) fixed the issue at least for me. And clearing that file doesn't seem to affect anything in the game, all the personal data gathered by thousands of cars and tracks seem to be untouched.

Nice discovery..... AC now shuts down instantly.....

Try reducing BRAKE_HINT a little at a time. When the car is no longer missing the initial turn, then tune the TRAIL_HINT, a higher number will open up the exit, a lower number will make the car exit tighter. Check your adjustments on several tracks that you know have good track ai, with a variety of turns.

Oh yeah, almost forgot, AERO_HINTS being too high will also cause cars to miss corner entry. If the ai seem abnormally fast on the straights in comparison to your target competition ai, or yourself for that matter, reducing this number will help the car in corner entry as well, especially in high speed sweepers.

I've added a few more skins (#10-13) for Deplinsky's version of the Toyota FT-1 Vision GT GR3
They are based on the Prefecture districts in Japan - There are 13 initial with more to come- All are fictional skins with real Japanese driver names

I have also include my Wales Skin that I use - Plus you can change the drivers name in the UI file for ease of use (I can easily place a generic name on the skin if you so wish)

There are some minor errors in the skins due to the models mapping (rear mainly and tyre manufacture OS) but hopefully they don't detract too much

Please feel free to use, amend and share if you so wish or dump if so inclined 🤔
