I tried there but no answer and as I saw no real activity there for a year so I don't expect any help from there, but it seems I should not expect any from here either. Maybe your answer was so detailed because they are generally paimods and i should bother the creator? Lots of the tracks including semetin are free now that is why I tried it out. I love the GTP AC community because its great and helpful community but sometimes it doesent behave like one. I mean it was a simple question, and that "answer"especially from you who makes lots of track conversions (so you are familiar with tracks) was a little disappointing.
I turned to this forum because I simply was hoping for a quick fix IF there is one, so I can enjoy a track..
I don't want to start a debate or anything, don't want to spam this thread so this can be the end of this discussion. Have a nice day everyone!
As stated in the README you need to select the "practice" mode on the drive tab so the car starts from the "pits". The other modes don't work due to the missing hotlap spawn point.

I read the readme, and I used Practice...just with starting line selected and not pits. But that isnt mentioned in the readme...and i mostly use practice with start at starting line.
But a good thing to know in the future for similar problems.

the link you provided to the actual track seems to crash for me. It loads to the pits then as soon as you try to go to track it crashes. anyone else having that? they Pyyer extension works fine, its just the stock track layout.

I provided you with relevant help for a PAID track, to the author.
I read the readme and assumed you did too... its quite clear.

I read the Readme and sais use it in practice mode, that's it. It's not mentioned to set start from pit. And I use generally practice with start line start.. and because of that it was still with bad spawning.
Really... I was a poop? Okay, whatever man.

Lemax has just released a new hillclimb.

Thanks for the heads-up. I don't normally like point-to-point tracks and like hill climbs even less, but the scenery and sense of scale in this one is incredible, especially in VR.
I'll likely never drive it again, but am glad I had the opportunity to try it once.

Yes, same here. I ended up deleting the stock track layout.

Can anyone name some good point to point tracks where there's AI too? (I got the Targa Florios)

I finally got my reverb G2 sorted turns out I had motion smoothing and motion vectoring on at the same time....:banghead:

Now I can finally enjoy everything cranked up with PP on and rain etc, its like a new game....also means I cant make excuses for any of my mods not having wipers now I guess.

Thanks a lot for the heads up. Its very very good! Quick and fun, a hillclimb which will be super good when shaving the seconds here and there, specialy on those hairpins.

The only Acura Integra Type-R I am aware of is a tuned version by Skip (http://buck3131.com/car/ne_acura_integra_vis_racing?server=0). This car was part of a older car pack from SRP (Shutoko Revival Project) available on their Discord Server. Their recent car packs (1.1.0 and 2.8.1) didnt have that car anymore.
I think this ek is my new favorite. It looks and drives beautiful and is non encrypted! Link in description

There's a quite comprehensive update from @KevinK2 (I think). Or nrms, dunno.

It was posted here, if you can search back.

It's worth it, that T21 version is the most accurate Long Beach we have in AC. (Based on FM7's laser-scanned track.)
 
I've been away from this forum and the AC modding scene for almost two years and without reading all the thousands of posts I've missed in that period, it seems to me now that a much larger number of "modders" are expecting to be paid for their projects via Patreon, Paypal, etc., etc. This appears to be the case even if it's not a scratch built original mod. Is my perception correct?
If so it saddens me a bit. I first got involved when the majority of folks were in it for the passion and joy of sharing and most had no thought of trying to get paid.

It also seems that RaceDepartment is more liberal in what AC mods they allow to be shared there. Is that true?
 
Another SL Hockenheim test. Not much texture work (stuck on those right now), mostly seasonal adjustment work in the config. Never did understand how it worked exactly so I took the day and learned how to adjust things for each month. Curious to hear what people think. The pattern of changes matches where I live so it might not be accurate to the actual track area. The intensity of the changes could be increased, but I like a more subtle change than dramatic. If you don't mind a little editing, there are variations in the config for a longer winter and a more or less browed out summer. Just look in the CONDITION_2 and CONDITION_3 sections and you'll see what I mean.

Delete the old skin folder. I separated the mask files into their own skin. If you use Pure, don't enable the HockMask skin. If you use Sol, try it with and without.

And thanks to @sab001 for the quick look and input. Hope I got the bushes a little better. Still need to fix the textures themselves.

EDIT: Might want to try this. Under CONDITION_2 in the ext_config, copy and replace the active LUT line with this:

LUT = (|0.30=0.060|0.35=0.065|0.40=0.070|0.45=0.072|0.5=0.1175|0.55=0.1575|0.60=0.0925|0.65=0.070|0.72=0.060|0.75=0.235|0.78=0.485|0.815=0.310|)

Should make all spring and summer seasons a little less green. Might make the fall colors in mid October a little too intense.
