I only drive on tracks in AC (rally games do rally so much better, weirdly) so is there any way for me to alter the data to make the longest final gear the default one, without having to remember to load or select it every time? The default gearing is set up like a rally car (which this car is, of course) but on tarmac has you hitting the limiter in 6th in no time at all.

If you want a "virgin" Content Manager you'll have to remove/rename the folder "%AppData%\Local\AcTools Content Manager". Everything related to CM is stored inthere. HtH

Tracks listing : big update

Thanks to those who gave me remarks and suggestions.

The version 3.0 is in progress but it will take some time to finalize it.

Here is the list of the main changes:

1. The column A takes the name of the track (and not the name of the .kn5 file wich is now on the column E)
2. In the real tab:
a. Column B: ISO code of the country (this will allow you to sort on the countries)
b. Column C: year
c. Column D: link of the download (if there is no icon for the link yet, see column E (old hyperlink).
If there is no link, it means that I don't have it.

Question for the PC folks, bought a new PC, going to reinstall AC to it. What is the best way to migrate installation from the old PC to the new one? It basically lives on its own SSD on the old PC, is there a way to maybe physically move the drive over and maybe repair the installation through steam or something? Since like many I have a lot of mod tracks/cars would be a pain to try to track down everything and reinstall them....
Just did this recently with the help of an IT coworker & fellow simracer. Best option with the least hassle is simply copy your content folder + other related mod files onto a large gb flashdrive (include AC documents folder if you want to save all your race stats, car setups, etc.). Download AC onto new PC and pull all your mods from the flash drive. It's a bit of work, but if you like to mod AC you'll dig it anyway :D

Now I have the windshield showing last image I select. In this case was the rear function.
So I saw these 2 cars behind me and when passing to the front view, I saw them!? :crazy:

Hello! Hope you're having a good weekend.

Two mods I've been testing out: TGN just released the 0.8 version of its Mini Cooper S, and as you expect from a Mini it's lots of fun. Also, there's this MC20 mod from Thegost which is really good. A bit tricky to drive, I wouldn't recommend turning assists off. Hope you enjoy! Once again, the great camtool sets from ATR and sebmor make my content better. Thank you!

Started this project a few months back when all I knew how to do was change textures. Doing the SL tracks has taught me a few things so I think i'm going to revisit it. Plus I need a break from Hockenheim. I'm getting dizzy trying to get the look I want. Just can't get it to look so green. It needs some variety in the colors

Shouldn't take too long. I want to do all new grass effects, seasonal adjustments and texture tweaking. Seasonal stuff carries over easy from my other configs. Textures were basically done already. Just need to work on getting the grass the right color. And it takes all of 1 minute to put together grassfx.

- The driver seat doesnot have the stitches and details like the passenger

It has two layouts one for F1 and the other is for supercars (Don't worry on the add to cart thing the download is free)

I don't have any smart advice to offer, but I sometimes find that temporarily downgrade the CSP version, restart AC, and then re-update CSP, and restart AC again, will clear up some "unexplainable" weirdities? This is a whopper, mate :confused:

The track doesn't work for me. I extracted all files into the 'tracks' section and the game just crashes when I try to load the track. How do you fix this problem?

By crashes, I mean that it starts loading then just goes back to the menu again.

Thanks for this! I see there're no particularly-accurate TV replay cams.. That'll give me a project for me to attempt, this weekend then! :D
Here it is! The track geometry isn't 100% correct, so I did what I could.


The track is decent, but the ai line could do with an upgrade as they were a bit slow in a few areas around the track. Also, the ai cars don't leave the pits when doing a track day or weekend session, with half of the cars having their pit boxes set in the pit fast lane.

I tried there but no answer and as I saw no real activity there for a year so I don't expect any help from there, but it seems I should not expect any from here either. Maybe your answer was so detailed because they are generally paimods and i should bother the creator? Lots of the tracks including semetin are free now that is why I tried it out. I love the GTP AC community because its great and helpful community but sometimes it doesent behave like one. I mean it was a simple question, and that "answer"especially from you who makes lots of track conversions (so you are familiar with tracks) was a little disappointing.
I turned to this forum because I simply was hoping for a quick fix IF there is one, so I can enjoy a track..
I don't want to start a debate or anything, don't want to spam this thread so this can be the end of this discussion. Have a nice day everyone!
