That happens due to LODs. I've already increased the switching distance from A to B to 45m (afair the pipeline states 15m) bc i didnt like it either. Easiest solution to leave everything untouched, copy "bmw_m1_procar.kn5" to "bmw_m1_procar_lod_b.kn5". :)

Here you've lost me. I dont know what's your problem exactly.

Just checked at the Nords and at Motegi, Fronts are fully down.

But maybe one or two mm couldnt be wrong. ;)
More one hundred or two hundred mm, but ok. Can't complain much for a freebie...;)

Does anyone know how to set the position of the tyre correctly?

I set them through 3DSIMED, and when I launch the game the wheel is not where it should be

In 3Dsimed :

You also have to adjust the settings in the suspension.ini and/or the graphical offset settings in the car.ini, both of which are contained in the data folder for the respective vehicle. In the car.ini you need to look for this:

GRAPHICS_OFFSET=0,-0.050,-0.1750 - these are x,y, and z coordinates. In short - the last number (in this case -0.1750) will move the wheels forwards or backwards in relation to the model.

In the suspension.ini, look for this:

[BASIC]
WHEELBASE=2.286 ; Wheelbase distance in meters
CG_LOCATION=0.50 ; Front Weight distribution in percentage

Those should be self explanatory. You'll also need to play with the following, also included in the suspension.ini

[FRONT]
TYPE=DWB ; Suspension type. DWB Double Wish Bones. STRUT McPherson strut
BASEY=-0.09 ; Distance of CG from the center of the wheel in meters. Front Wheel Radius+BASEY=front CoG. Actual CG height = (FWR+FBasey)+(RWR+Rbasey))/CG_LOCATION%
TRACK=1.286

Changing the BASEY number moves the body of the car up/down in relation the the wheels.
TRACK is of course the wheels distance from the centreline.

There's a BASY/TRACK setting for both the front and rear.

And...

To see all these changes you need to use the "Align using data" setting in the CM showroom.

It's looks/sounds daunting, but actually is quite easy once you've tried doing it once or twice :)

Cheers!

I remember when I was foolishly following RTM, they promised this car. Does anyone know if it exists for AC?

Awesome, one of my favorite cars from GT4 back in the day on the PS2, so glad to see someone finally remaking it in premium quality for AC!
haha, it won't be a premium quality, more a upgraded standard that PD made for Gran turismo 6.
A slighty better 3d model, but won't reach vrc level

Thanks a lot for the fast answer, I did like you said and I managed to fix the position (god bless CM for existing)

That's not a great solution at all.
I think you can preserve the rear light mesh in other LODs.
Paging @norms who can hopefully explain it far more eloquently than I can.

If the car is using refracting lights then there is a known bug on the newer CSPs that is causing issues like what I have seen in the above pictures. If it is not using refraction then more than likely the LODs have been autogenerated and some important meshes missing on them. Try remake them preserving all meshes mentioned in lights.ini (and any other visually missing ones), or manually add these meshes back into the the LODs.

Hey,

I have a problem with the F1 1993 mod, the collider on the rear is to much behind the wing:

How can I fix it?

I'm having problems reproducing this. But I'll take another look in a couple of days, LODs too. But tbh I didnt change anything there, I only slightly increased the visual height bc the wheels were bumping through the fenders.
Just in case, I have no other versions installed, extended physics is off, I double-checked the config/loaded folder and there are no old extra files, so I suppose it's just the car.

I can only manage to compare with few random old pics I had of previous versions:

Bazza version

Arsenio Lupin 1.41 version

1.50

I do feel like something's off...Maybe someone with previous versions can tell me if they are flying too.
To be clear, I'm absolutely ok and grateful with the fact you solved the wheel clipping issue :)

First preview of the new Miami track...

I'm doing all I can to release it very soon!
It will be available before the start of the first practice sessions I promise!😉

Nice job as usual, sorry being a pain is it me or the curbs lack of geometry? They seem a bit to squared
