And, this is my concept design for that track to reach Grade 1 FIA type licence. It's 4151m long now with a Jeddah like artificial docks made from it.

It has the biggest relevance of all.
Btw gtplanet is not the place where to pour out your frustration so change environment. Since the moment you came in you started pointing the finger an criticize in a very frustrated way. So, really, drink chamomile
Okay, but why? Like I said it's not that difficult to see if someone doesn't follow the basics (because well.....they're the basics)

The thread is quite literally titled

Assetto Corsa PC Mods General Discussion

and unless the word 'general' changed its definition somewhere down the line, I do very much think discussing mod quality is fair game (unless the mods deem it not for whatever odd reason). This is especially valid when you have people literally charging money for works that don't even include the simplest of things, which when compared to the baseline reference (Kunos DLC), is quite literally nothing short of a scam. And the reason why guys like acfl and simdream are able to continue with this shady stuff, is because people simply aren't aware and see fancy preview + money = high quality.

Honestly, if "please follow the basics" is considered harsh criticism (or "criticize in a very frustrated way"), then the AC modding scene is just gonna continue to stagnate tbh. It's like if you build a PC but choose not to apply any thermal paste because you're too lazy. Sure it'll still work at the end of the day, but you're just pointlessly lowering the quality of it because of incompetence.

New Miami F1 track is now released at RD ! 🙂

Just a few words :

It's my first released track (at least the first official one as I have some unreleased content waiting 😉) and the last few weeks have really been exhausting as I really wanted to have some decent stuff for you in such a very short notice. That were some really long days and nights (as I have a real life job too 😅)

Track includes :
  • 3 DRS zones
  • 28 pitboxes
  • Sponsors & billboards based on lot of content I've seen in the last few days
  • A new BC7 format texture override method which allow better quality textures
  • Elevation is based on unreleased official/unofficial track
  • some relatively decent AI, GrassFX and RainFx (but as they are not my best talent, you're really welcome if you you want to give it a shot to improve them!)
  • Lights will come in upcoming updates.
  • Flags will probably be removed in future updates to stay close to reality as possible (but I will keep them as an option as I find they are really cool 😉)

As some of you have already requested me, I've finally decided to create a Patreon page

Don't worry every mods will stay free of course!

That's just a new way for those of you who want to say thanks, to support my creations and to encourage me to create even more great detail oriented stuff for our favorite racing simulator!

All of this to say that I really hope you will enjoy it! (as much as I doI as I already test drive it for more than 1600 km 😂)

Cheers to everyone !

Just had an extended run in this track, the track itself is designed really well and flows smoothly with a great rhythm. Expect tons of DRS passing opportunities.

Just a quick thought.

Reading the comments I noticed a bigger interest in graphic adjustments like trees more/less/littlemore/littleless/almost greener or the lights that are driven everyone Crazy.

I always thought that AC is a physics simulator, not a graphic one.
Maybe you all are concentrating in the wrong thing.
If your opinion is valid, then there should be nothing wrong with Short_Circut's opinion.

I have two mods on my PC from the same guy, using the same model but different sound and data. I made a wiper config for the untouched kn5 model that should work for both. The wipers are not modelled as a separate mesh so there are some bits outside of the car that are animated along with the wipers - and the there are no internal windows, so, again, no raindrops visible from the inside.

Here's an alternative version with a modified kn5 including internal windows and separated wiper mesh: https://www.mediafire.com/file/8624nwbgt7kwz5d/rtcg_alfa_giulia_gtam.7z/file

The wipers worked well, but the rear windows are completely blacked out.

Here at gtplanet we are all aware of what you said but as I repeated you came here without knowing nothing but shooting sentences like a judge.
There are other places to pour out your frustration, again.

I was looking at this old video on the official Assetto Corsa youtube channel, and I've noticed this: the Veneno, Asterion and the Gallardo GT3 never came out officially from kunos right? Do you know what happened with this projects? Maybe Lamborghini no longer licensed those cars...

Thank you very much for the track. But there is something wrong with the ext_config.ini, so RAIN_FX and GRASS_FX is not working properly. Your track ID needs to be Material ?Tarmac? and grass should be Material ?Background?.

I was criticizing his arrogance and the fact he replied to many with a very feel-superior behaviour that wasn't appreciable

Sorry for chiming in as a third person but this is exactly how I feel feel about your comments. I mean the feel superior and judging part.

I've actually read through Short_Circut's posts and I didn't find anything wrong with them. He was quite helpful many times, in fact.

But who am I to judge? I like great physics and nice graphics too and seemingly that's an invalid opinion.

I am not an authority.

I just received an update for @Pfalzdriver 's BMW M1 through CM's update thingy that brings it to v1.6. As I haven't seen a post here for the people that do not wish to use the CM update function I can assume this is not an update by Pfalzdriver?
It says it fixes things in the setup.ini and suspensions.ini, and that the rear wheels were floating (was that not about the front tyres?).

Could be from our dear friend Mr Bruno aka Easy

Could you provide just the 29 new skins you added? Did you revise any of the original 100 skins?
i didn't revise any of the originals just added. Plus thought it'd be easier adding the ones @TabsGaming42 made himself (sorry about that) and add the one's I converted into it. Would be a bit of an hassle for myself not gonna lie.

I have only the version from Nobody, with the configs by Nobody & leBluem (with some additions i did) and cams by @DaBaeda, don't know if it's the same version you have or not
I suppose I'm using the other by a french modder, no other mention of GTP folks.
I'm testing a new AI I made for it, than I'll try the Nobody one.
That's the file I have in the "extension" folder
Thanks sir!

Edit: I was wrong, I have the ‎Guillaume Rousseau one, tweaks by nobody, folder name "bugatti".
The extension provided by Breathe does nothing on this one.
The other one's link (le_mans_bugatti) appears to be dead.
