Hello VheEth,

Thank you for this version of the Hockenheimring circuit, it's a great version of it :)

Unfortunately, I only noticed one small problem with it, concerning the barriers.

With the railing barriers it can happen that if you drive against them you can get stuck in them and you don't slide along the railing when you come against it, but you are immediately turned around as if you were driving head-on against a wall and that at every point.

How can you fix these barriers so that you can no longer get stuck in them and so that these barriers are not recognised as edges?

I have also uploaded a picture of the barriers that I mean, so that you can imagine which ones I mean :)

Many thanks for the help :)

With kind regards
Stefan

I appreciate the rules about not linking to paid content, and I have no connection to abulzz except being on his patreon, but I thought people here might be interested in the following, announced today. His Targa is already a nice track; if this works it should be amazing!

"First of all, the important announcement: Our friend Beni is currently on his way to Sicily right this moment. He's gonna be there from 12th to 17th to gather even more data around the Targa Florio. And that includes scanning the entire track. That's right gents, we are scanning Targa Florio. We've been preparing for this for quite some time. Now that the situation ease a bit, we're finally able to do this. Hats off to Beni who've been relentlessly putting massive efforts toward this. You're already a Legend! :D Although it won't be the standard laser scan used by professional companies, but the result he was able to achieve is no joke. Here's a sample of that:"

Targa florio scan.jpg

He goes on to say: "And so, if you guys probably living around Palermo, and you want to help or just wanting to meet up and say hi, come on over and hook us up on discord. Especially if you have a drone that is capable of doing photogrammetry, that would be awesome! Although to be honest, we don't know about the license needed if we want to fly drones in that region."

The new beta has improved quite a few aspects and it is clear they are doing a lot of research into track surface appearance and so on.

Sounds like a really interesting project. From experience, I've driven a large part of the track - and some of it was undrivable and I had to turn back. Drones would certainly be useful.

it would be great to have a download link for the car because all the ones I have found are down because it was available for download on assetoland at the time.

You can do that even with 3dsimed

1. Find all the 1WALL meshes or the 1meshes you want not to be physical anymore via the Display - object filter
2. Copy them to a new tab inside 3dsimed with crtl+A copy
3. Rename all the 1WALL meshes from step 1 to WALL in order to stop being physical via the Tools - object rename tool
4. Export to fbx, load it to kseditor and save the track as kn5
5. Go to the new tab you created at step 2 and export the whole scene to fbx 6.0
6. Find the fbx ini file with the same name as the one you set during the export at the previous step.
7. Open the file with notepad ++ and find and replace all VISIBLE=1 to VISIBLE=0 and all RENDERABLE=1 to RENDERABLE=0 and save the file
8. Load the fbx from step 5 to kseditor and save it as walls.kn5
9. Add the walls.kn5 to models.ini
10. Test
11. Enjoy

Your best option though is to ask @VehEth to update the track because in order to post the fix you need his permission, else you have to keep this only for yourself

Ok thank you :)

I have already tried that, unfortunately without much success.
I have renamed all the barriers that have this problem so that they are walls and then saved them in the KSEditor as KN5 files and inserted them in the models.ini file, but unfortunately you still get stuck in the wall when you hit it.

I will definitely try to fix the walls :)

Pretty sure I got that via the URD site back in the day, it is a bit buggy so maybe they want to fix it before re-release or something.

EDIT: Ah, I see you worked things out already, nevermind ;)

Does anyone know if The Rollovers team have a new site? I'm looking for this Lamborghini Evo;

Hi, all official links or mirror links on my Discord,
after a small presentation in the "new_pilots" lounge, I validate the members who then have access to the ASSETTO CORSA MODS and RFACTOR 2 MODS section.

I had put the link of The Rollovers website in this video but actually it no longer exists

and for Lamborghini Huracan ST Evo 2018 v1.3 :

All official skins by AlexBfromG :

But despite the 1.3 in the DL, it turns out to be the exact same as the v1.0 I had.

"author": "the Rollovers",
"version": "1.0",
error in the ui_car.json, it's v1.3 (official link)
same think for v1.2 in the ui_car.json they forget to change in the file, you can change that before install in your game

OK, so the one you posted is exactly the same as the one I had (marked v1.0).
So both are really 1.3 then ?
