That's what I'm talking about, he has mods like that, but hasn't released a single thing. He just moves onto something else.

As for KITT, there's also this mod, but it's not public either because the creator said it was made converting other data. Which if that means simply it's a conversion mod, I find that to be a wierd reason with all of the conversion mods publically available to use.



Ah finally, a B5 Audi RS4 Avant to drive. It'll go well with the B5 S4 mods I have, could use it in an Audi one-make race.

you're right, with all the mods converted for this game I don't understand why it doesn't publish it, that then the cool thing that it publishes update videos as if it were the car was public, it shouldn't make a video as it is private.

• You should be able to copy the files straight into you assetto corsa folder as long as you have the track installed. It will ask to override - backup your track if you want to keep the original files.

• If the new grass still won't show check your assetto corsa folder: extension/textures/grass_fx. You should have a "highlands.dds" file in there, otherwise no grassFX.

My Porsche 911 RSR Carrera version was "fake" by virtue of having added a part in the rear to make it more similar to the version used in some 1973 races, mainly in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Just what I did for personal use to make a bit nicer, would be happy if it is useful for others as well.

You could remove them via a config, or better, 3DSIMed click on them press delete, done.
Having said that i never really care enough if a tree is in the wrong place or slightly bigger or different to the one that actually resides at the track.
Well done trees, whether they exists or not are always welcome as it adds a lot to a track.

Velo's 911 Carreras include my CSP wipers already, so do the ACTK downloads. Did you test in the showroom or in game?

There is a video tutorial for CSP wipers on Youtube. It's not perfect and is lacking a lot of details but it should help you to get started.

Oh my goodness, how embarrassing! Well, being new to AC I just assumed if it doesn't work in the showroom then it won't work in game. I just tested in game and sure enough, it works! Thank you very much.

Thanks also for the tutorial link, I'll work through that and see if I can get it going. I've been unable to find any Karmann Ghias with working wipers, so there's a good challenge for me.

BTW, I found your archive with all your CSP wiper fixes. There's one for a Hilman Imp, but the fix doesn't work on the one I have (Velo 1.2). Is yours for a different mod, and if so, could you link it please?

there is an XJR-14, XJR-12 or 9, Peugeot 905 and GTP ZX-T and the Eagle around. if you want more...you will have to sadly get GTSupremes stuff.

thanks for all your contributions!

question: I noticed my generic.dds in Steam Library\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\extension\textures\grass_fx
is not opening (nor in irfanview, nor in GIMP) , saying "unknown header type" and "Unsupported DXGI format (98)"...
Is this normal or is my this file corrupted? (and if so can you pls PM me a good copy?)

ps:
in the future better to put a more distinct link to the section the track can be found in (France, Italy, Spain, ... )
Having to go through all the sections to find it is a drag...

I can't say for sure, but I've been having a problem with Microsoft Defender false positives recently. Like it will flag an archive file that's been sitting on my disk for weeks and has been scanned multiple prior times as dangerous, even though there's nothing inside of it even capable of executing code.

If the detection has !ml at the end of it, it means that it's a machine learning definition and no human has reviewed it.

Don't know because it's not my track conversion. I don't like to step on other people's toes. I'll be in touch via PM when I finish a couple of other things and see if you want a private copy. I'm working on trying to get a more consistent grass color mix between all of the grass areas. By default, one section was too dark blue and the other was too oversaturated yellow, IMO of course. This fits my eyes better, but still needs darkened a bit.

I can’t. But what I know is that MS security is going bezerk since a couple of weeks. Lots ( and I mean LOTS) of downloads from different sources (which I know are really reliable) get flagged and can’t be downloaded.
I know that there can’t be any danger in these DLs, so to get them, I have to temporarily disable the MS security, download and install and then re-enable security again.

I ran the Kyalami 67 file through VirusTotal and it came back clean. My W11 with latest Security updates raised no flags.

I can confirm they are virus free.
I have these files since months on 2 PCs and 2 backup drives.
And for what I know, you'll never have a virus without an executable file.
As @Fanapryde said, MS Defender is crazy since some weeks.
For sample, some days ago, MS Defender destroyed the acs.exe file on a computer on wich AC was installed since probably years...

I don't use MS Defender so I never had this problem and last thing, at this time, I have around 50 downloads for each tracks and nobody complained on my discord.
