I don't know why this track seems gray to me, like if it was snowy. I have seasonal adjustments off. Fiorano 2017 works fine. Pics below. Any ideas?

Here's what I could find based on some testing. Under Track Adjustments in CSP, if you have 'Allow seasonal adjustments' turned on while at the same time you have 'Use seasonal adjustments' turned off under WeatherFX, it will look like winter all the time.

Problem solved! Thank you!

I have a question for CSP expert there:

Concerning the RSS70 and it's multiple aero packages.
I tried plenty of things to force specific packages to each cars, like it was meant by RSS, to be used for AI.

In the ext_config.ini
I tried to change de wing_animation but it seems that we can only revert to the first or the last package.
I tried to disable the aero.ini to include a , for exemple aero_a4.ini, to force the angle for the 4th package.
But nothing work,

Do someone have an idea to make the ai use a speciaif aero package?
Because I'm little bit lost

I'm happy to say after the chemo treatments I'm cancer free :-)
Glad to hear it! I've been fighting cancer myself (Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma) and can now say that I'm also in the 'Cancer Free' stage (Total Metabolic Remission). Us sim-racers must be resilient or something. Feel free to reach out if you ever need to rant to someone that's also been through it.

Also, I've been away from here since August - Any 'must have' mods released between then and now?

... at the expense of a good bunch of fps, I fearfully suppose, isn't? (Sad emoji here).

From what I've heard, it shouldn't impact FPS much at all.
But it's still early days, we'll soon know, I assume.
Judging from the mail I received from Ilja's Patreon it looks like it will actually save performance, but I might be wrong.

"Whole thing with trees turned out trickier than I anticipated (generating a tree is one thing, but having to create LODs for it too requires some very different geometry which I’m still investigating). Instead, I went a different direction and added support for existing tree models.
With billboards for distant trees and heavy use of instancing to save draw calls and improve performance new system can handle hundreds of thousands of trees with no problem (and can also be used for bushes). Hopefully in the future I’ll be able to figure out procedural generation which will make replacing trees on existing tracks trivial, but at least now creators working on new tracks can use this system to save some time and performance.
"

The only point of possible misinterpretation here is whether creators will save performance versus the "old" way or versus the way he wanted to do it (still investigating).

Excellent news, my friend.
Congratulations on your cancer free stage.

Amazing. I have also just got the all clear after 5 years. Hope everyone is doing good.

Been gone a long while, recovering from bladder cancer and surgery. I'm happy to say after the chemo treatments I'm cancer free :-)

Congrats to all of you. The chemo battle is a solo event which will test your will power to overcome and succeed. Well over 30 years cancer free here, (Stage 4B Hodgkin's Lymphoma) Enjoy your new look on life and hopefully you will find happiness in the years to come. Many many years.

Hello Party People, I'm currently in the process of setting up AC again, and I can't seem to find most of the driver models I used to have... would be very nice if anyone could help me out here, I know there used to be a site where some dude posted collections of diverse driver models, but I can't find it anymore.

There's a bunch of them here

Does some know or did already try This FIA GT package? https://www.patreon.com/posts/72625834
(GT1, GT2, LMP, BRP... 90s to 00s) - not mine

Seems that a lot of work went in to it. But here are a lot of 'pros' who put work in similar cars, so may be someone knows how good this package is, physics wise and balance wise.

I think it is at least the biggest and most complete package of this, for me, golden era in GT racing

Be good to have at least a vague idea of what it is before clicking links...

Hillclimb Auerberg Germany - rain and vao and grass and so on...

Track can be found here: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/auerberg-hillclimb-2019-classic.55478/

  • You should be able to copy the files straight into you assetto corsa folder as long as you have the track installed. It will ask to override - backup your track if you want to keep the original files.

  • If the new grass still won't show check your assetto corsa folder: extension/textures/grass_fx. You should have a "highlands.dds" file in there, otherwise no grassFX.

The GTSupreme patreon. Great stuff for grid-fillers, and in some cases much more. To me, well worth the price. (If all this stuff is available elsewhere, I haven't come across it, and I don't care to go looking for it...) Reworks/improvements of some rms and rss cars (credits always left in place), lately some BOPing. Group C (rfactor Virtua-LM stuff) cornucopia... (as to the physics? Remains to be discovered...)

99% of it was already available, and "BOP package" were already made here and there. A good effort tho, and from GTSupreme also a good one to provide a maximum "sourcing" of the content of it. However, it is still some conversions from older sources, not specifically good, with a few gems along the way. The rest (aka what's not his) are the usual "top notch" from RSS or others, free or not, that are already in the "market" for months, or years. maybe the BOP is new for some, but nothing fancy nor new.

I do appreciate the "big package" format, a lot less the patreon one.

I am not a Modder so not for me to be a critic but i filtered through the pack and downloaded what i was interested in and deleted most of it. Mostly unfinished or poor detail. I use VR and interior trim detail is my tell tale sign of how good the mod is or not, for me anyway. Just my view as someone who follows this forum daily whilst unable to contribute but raking in everything that some of you amazing guys produce for which i thank you all for.

It's GTSupreme.......

You can probably find most of those cars elsewhere for free

physics are more inaccurate than kunos' even

visually most of their own work are just ps2 rips so enjoy 3k poly models lmao

While i am in here, i wonder if i can pick some brains. Running AC with all the usual CM, CPS and Sol and has been running fine. Swopped out GPU for a rtx3800 to make it run better on VR a while ago and have dialled in some really nice graphic settings. The problem i have is for some reason i cannot change my graphic settings any more which i would like to do as i race online with large grids. Also, some AC settings will not hold like volume has to be reset every time i drive. I also cannot get my system to run properly if i update to the 2 latest public CSP builds which i have tried changing up and down to no avail. My question is, will i lose my saved presets if i press the delete patch button as i think it may help if i can reinstall a fresh CSP? Any help would be much appreciated
