Looking for a physics guru to help. Have a model in game, physics are borrowed currently, to get it working. Data is unlocked, graphics appears to be encrypted.
Have a technical manual from the manufacturer, that I hope will provide the information required for someone who knows what they are doing. That person isn't me.
This model is a currently used single seater. A professional race driver that has raced these cars at the pointy end of the grid and has a sim rig is willing to help with feedback on how the mod feels.

Yes. Have the 2020 season liveries done, thanks to help. 4 were missing from the rfactor season, one being championship winner Fraga. I started it by working on the SVG car more so I can create decals. I was able to get the model into the CM showroom but not into the game. Found the fsr Tatuus f3 t318 which is the same body. Have edited car ini to show TRS car in game, but it's physics are very wrong.

well, I explained exactly what is wrong in your PM after you had me have a look.
Not the same mod mate. I'm talking about the car here. What I pmed you about is something different

Lime Rock Mountain Update

This is just a small update to Lime Rock Mountain. It doesn't make any significant changes, but has one change that may benefit some people. Please delete your previous Lime Rock Mountain folder before extracting. Might be better to keep a backup copy of the previous version until you test this out.

-- Small texture tweaks to a few tree textures.
-- Reworked the .kn5 file to remove some things that I previously hid via the ext_config. The benefit of this is the track should now look\work properly for those that don't use CSP with a few missing features that can't be done without CSP. For those that use CSP, the track should be unchanged.
-- First draft of my attempt to fix some of the terrain issues, mainly the hillside on the top of the hill, but you may notice some other spots look better as well. Basically it's a little terrain merging and smoothing to create a more natural look.

EDIT: Just discovered that this new version has poor performance if I turn off grassfx or run without CSP, which is weird. Going to have to figure out why. If you run into performance issues, you can download the previous version below that has the same small updates minus the new terrain.

Sorry guys, but I have to do an update to the update I posted yesterday. There was a creek that ran down the left side of the front stretch on the original track. It wasn't flat and I didn't know how to make it flat so I removed it. Some how it is there again or was there again. It's now removed.

I got the version from Shaun Clarke (RIP).

I already have that mod. also, should be the 2002 model year from Race 07.

This is probably going to sound really daft, I have a 1070 sc card and trying to get more fps out of it, if my resolution in Windows is set higher then 1080 will my games be playing at higher resolution as well, I want to just be playing at a decent fps 1080 so do I need to adjust Windows and within the game I'm wondering if by having them set higher I'm obviously getting less fps

ok so ive tried it and still no luck.

emptied cache in CM ---->uninstalled old version --->install new version ----> run licence application and choose free licence -----> outside bounds array error.

wonder what im doing wrong?
I just came across a post in the MNBA FB group saying that updating Content Manager to the latest version from Github fixed the "array out of bounds" error. Which CM version are you using?

I've been experiencing weird, random crashes with the URD EGT pack - you know, that really old collection of GTE cars.

Can happen either near-instantly or during the race, or even at the end of the race session in one instance (that was pretty annoying lol). Or sometimes it doesn't happen at all. So it's difficult to diagnose.

I've analyzed the crash logs and they appear to be missing some entries in their aero.ini files. Think that's the cause? I know that the URD Venom used to cause similarly random crashes because of a typo in a data file, so...?

Unfortunately I'm away from my gaming PC right now, but you can see for yourself if you check the logs after running one of these cars. The cars affected are all of the cars in the URD EGT pack.

Was wondering if anybody could corroborate this experience.

Yes i Know the crashes. There is a official update from URD fixing this.

You have just to search. Was also posted here some weeks ago.

I never do that but the mountain texture irked me a bit so I used another one in 2048x2048, think it looks a bit better. But great conversion nonetheless !

Can happen either near-instantly or during the race, or even at the end of the race session in one instance (that was pretty annoying lol). Or sometimes it doesn't happen at all. So it's difficult to diagnose.

Try this
data.acd and in brakes.ini, fix the typo DISC_LR=venom_egt_lf_disc -> DISC_LR=venom_egt_lr_disc
 
Is there anyway to get the wipers working Please.
I'll let you know if it's possible :D

Edit: Unfortunately it is not possible, at least with my knowledge I can not do it. The wiper does not have a dedicated mesh but is part of a single mesh made up of multiple car elements. Because of this, I can't animate it :boggled:

The above example is the Z4 GTE; all cars from the EGT pack have this going on.

Right on the eve of the show, here is the quirky Autosport NEC arena.
10 grid slots and rudimentary lighting effects that consider performance of PCs.
Released as a showroom that is drivable and raceable as its great for screen shots and this type of racing isn't for everyone.
Every year they have various forms of driving going on, hot laps, parades, stunts and racing.
Surface is slick and shiny but i kept it at 1.00 grip so feel free to experiment with that.
Long geared cars don't go well here, but can be fun wrestling around an F1 car.

Converted from rfactor and jazzed up for AC.
Loads of camtool cameras included if you use that and 4 basic cameras as standard.

Could do with pit line doing and if anyone wanted to go a bit more crazy with the lights.
Talking of which they flash so epilepsy warning is issued.

One more thing it runs in darkness hence the lights, so best set time to after dark, although can be run in daylight but doesn't look so good..
Also the screens can be changed, pics show the 'ken' skin, but couple of others plus anyone can put whatever pics they want via a skin....
Something i would love to see....someone who can drift doing a drift video! Guy who did the video can't drift, he tried, but he did say the Caterham's race really well on it.
One more thing i use CSP and its 1.77 preview 1. I doubt in vanilla AC it'll look any good.
