Hi Everyone.

I've decided to make Alain Prost's car from the 1993 Elf Masters Championship or Masters Karting Paris Bercy...
It's my first skin ever so don't expect anything special, (It lacks the NAD logo, which I haven't been able to find) but I've made it to race aggainst Senna's skin that already comes with Legion's kart. Because it is said to be the last duel between Senna and Prost etc


This race was very cool and a lot of great drivers used to race there (Schumacher, Senna, Prost, Villeneuve, Alonso, Hamilton...). I don't think someone will recreate the track (despite it was very cool), but maybe someone wants to make the rest of the cars. No matter, I hope you enjoy it:cheers:

The track could be good, and the modders also can be good... But Tilke's layout never will be.
I bet Tilke's never drove a supermarket cart.

This track is not finished. No updates for the CSP (GrassFX, TreesFX, .......) and problem with the pits (car at the start in the grass), track preview error, the information in the json file is not complete

Hi experienced modders. I was trying to create an AO map for a dash board, but run into a problem.
this is the UV map I have in 3ds max:

Textured car in kseditor v6, and tried different shaders, if I view the mapping in CM by clicking the 3 dots next to the name of the object, it looks ok:

but if I view the mapping by clicking on the 3 dots next to say txdiffuse then I get the following:

I got these lines in a mess.... I tried generating the AO I got the following:

I did it in the popped up windows after clicking the 3 dots next to the name of the mesh. For the top object in the AO map generated, the light seems to be at the opposit location to what I have expected. the bright side (white) is actually to bottom part of the dash, instead of the top. Is this is due to UV UNwrap problem with my 3DS Max model? Can someone kindly shed me some light on this? thanks a lot!

The mapping as on the screen won't work.also check if normals are in the right direction. And when generating AO in CM, you better to have only the object for generation, otherwise other objects which are above it can make some mess with shadows

Rallycross you say... well, that explains why I couldn't find any mod on the "Real" tab of Breathe's track list...

I did find the Gotland Ring mod though, but that's just a conversion from the old (2008) rFactor/GTR2 mod missing the southern loop.

Although I've had this game for many years, pretty new to content manager and mods, and this community as I've said before, is absolutely amazing. The quality of some of these cars and tracks, along with content manager, sol and pure, it blows my mind! How some of these guys haven't been snapped up by Kunos, I don't know (or have they?)

Anyway, would love to find some more quality content that I may have missed over the years

Favorite i don't know, but Turn10 and Polyphony Digital are sure very popular.

I have just tried this TreeFx For RT LeMans (sx_lemans), but I have an FPS drop (I know it's normal but maybe it could be optimized) and I think trees are too dark.

Does someone have better TreeFx version for this track ?

I’ve been a fan of Binary Motors lately, especially some of Jerry Wei’s work (Binary seems to be a collection of modders in a group). Most are good quality with decent enough physics just probably a bit too grippy overall, but not nearly as bad as most mods. More importantly they’re more than just a collection of Porsches and BMWs, even though there’s plenty of those.

does somebody else experience ultra bright lights at both the yas marina 2021 tracks as well? they start to light up at 5:30 pm or so and just keep getting brighter and brighter until you can't really see the track anymore
 
Did you improve other stuff as well such as interiors and physics? Those were god awful when I drove it weeks ago at Daytona a day before the 24 Hours race besides the other GTP/LMH partecipants in previous days.
the car is unfinished...it was leaked ages ago and shouldn't be out for the public.
