Thanks for the reply. My graphics driver has been updated recently so I gave this a go.

I was able to delete the single acs.exe instance in the ACS game profile but get this unhandled exception message when I try to delete them from the Assassin's Creed Syndicate profile, and it shows 3 of them!

View attachment 1249396
Hi again, those unhandled exceptions are most often caused due faulty driver installation.
Get DDU from Wagnard, follow the instructions (it' ask you for some settings, then reboot in safe mode with network, when rebooted select GPU section, choose first section for cleaning, let it reboot your PC, install drivers again (Why on 472.12 still by the way?)
DDU is here. Completely save using. Guide on this site as well. It's not difficult at all. Your driver must be at fault currently I do suspect. Let me know. Jeroen

Dunlop was the sponsor in 1976. You can check it in that video here.

@Fall Guy

In looking at the replay and pic you posted, would you agree that the runoff track edges on the front straight look more like dirt than pavement\concrete? The AC track version uses a pavement texture. I'm seeing more dirt\sand appearance. Also, the large sand areas in the turns on the AC version that are a sand texture look more like dirt to me. It could be the video is so old and faded that my eyes are deceiving me which is why i'm looking for another opinion.

You have at least a “product”
You could hide the Breathelist behind a patreon. 😜

I have no product 🙁 to offer a patreon and I am not hot enough to make a OnlyFans career either 😢😂

Serious now, I have absolutely nothing agains people getting money creating special things for the community. No need to name examples here.
But like Diegonapoli said at some stage this whole thing is becoming ridiculous.
For this to happen it needs customers. And sadly loads of people feel a weird tribal draw towards this, like those watching someone play a game and actually subbing money just so the person can say thanks.
That is some really deep messed up stuff going on there.
Its not unique to AC, youtube is full of families who film themselves just doing stuff and they have millions of subs and each new video the house gets bigger and the cars get better.

Its horrendous whats become of the western world. But alas another post that will need to be skipped by the link junkies....
Even though they will read it because its another fault of human nature...we can't ignore, we have to read, or look etc.....

No link, sorry.

100% agree. I have kids at home i know those families. It`s pervert.
? i was not the links only guy
Wow, worked out how to link posts by fluke.

Yes my kids watch them, but i read some of the comments and actual adults comment, how lost and sad is your life to be an adult living through someone else's life...
Happy that you are making them rich whilst you dream of their life which you and millions of others are creating....whilst you eat cake and cry.

And yes you weren't the links guy.
Just banter anyway, i just don't understand why the links guys haven't found 'that' forum which is the links heaven.
This place is great because its not just links and i don't feel dirty every time i leave because I've got loads of mod cars that fell off the back of a lorry...

Jeez Safi. Way to call out the many people that might not have anything worthy in their lives and watching someone play games or do stuff they can only dream of and giving them money might actually make them feel something (even if it does seem weird to you or I)
how about those sad enough to engage in petty internet drama or constantly go on about how much money certain people make from making mods and rainfx.
See I have no problem with people doing what they do to make themselves feel better or make money off of other people's misery or happiness. Religion has been doing this for centuries and yet that is a thriving business that doesn't seem to be going anywhere soon.
Speaking of which, I wonder if Jesus would have started a Patreon back in the day (i'm joking before anyone jumps on me for saying that)
Anyway I just wanted to say that not everyone shares the outlook you seem to have about people so I just wanted to say maybe tone down the judgement and carry on making your fun little mods

Yes, you are correct, it's dirt - if you check the AMS2 version (same base model), it's correct in this regard:

People watching other people is a sympton of the times. Most people are crammed into small living cubicles wether thats literally or mentally. Watching other people do mundane things may help them feel more connected to something "normal".

Oh and btw Jesus had nothing to do with religion. If I recall correctly, his calling out of the hypocrasy of religion, partly led to the crucifiction.

Back to what this thread is actually about some more progress pics of the Bristol.

Now has a cockpit.

Nice, is there a video or a site to know more about the project, im not familiar to what BPR means and what is the ultimate goal of the project/which cars and/or tracks are planned to be released, only seen a few Porsches from you guys.

On another note, i have been following this thread the last week and what started with an interesting discussion now has become totally off topic and to be honest just a bit sad seeing people talk about stuff they clearly have no knowledge of. Maybe we should go back to mods discussion and asking for links.

Nahh I'll continue to judge people thanks and you can continue to defend them if you like.
Pretty sure there is sections of society you sit in judgement of.
None of us are immune from judging, we are all flawed.
In fact you already did having re read your thoughts.
The internet is petty drama, its a reflection of society and in some cases its a worse reflection as its pretty anonymous if you want it to be so people can act far worse than in real life situations.

And i deliberately avoided religion, but yes i agree religion is the blueprint for mind control and a belief system.
Much of the problem is as religions grasp dwindles its still in human DNA the need for something to belong to and being under control and 'guided' plus good old tribalism, so people find it in different places.

Someone is always judging you about something so you may as well judge people back IMO.
Most people aren't worth any of my time or energy, world is full of utter wastes of skin.
Yes that's dark, yes is negative, but unless you live under a rock, that is the world.
However happy 'you' are (royal you, not you) there is some kid dying from poverty, or War or whatever.....

Still no links, why did you read to here!!

To find out more about our project please use the discord link. The BPR Global GT Series ran from 1994 to 1996. It was basically the birth of modern GT racing in Europe. From 1997 onwards the series was called FIA GT Series. In our project we aim to recreate the series on a race per race basis.

Man I thought that´s a new AC showroom and tried to search the d/l link. :gtpflag:
Would be a very cool showroom 👍

Fixed some bugs and mistakes + VAO

Almost nothing new visually, just some thing now look the way they should:

  • fixed a lot of normals using diffuse textures and looking weird at certain time of day: race tower and its clocks, concrete blocks, marshals huts (holy crap how did I miss that:confused:)
  • baked new VAO patch (track looks a bit more contrasty)
  • made some textures look darker and less saturated for less cartooney look
  • found and fixed more alpha textures being transparent in a wrong way and looking weird.
  • gave a secret tent a proper textile texture:D

streamlining into off-topic here, but depends on what religion you're looking at. dunno about christianity or Judaism, but islam he very much had to do with religion (one of the prophets)

Hey, could a photoshop master help me with an AO map? I would like to grey out the decals from the skin livery in the AO map so that it's not reflective (Since i will put a metallic reflection on the car body)

Would greatly appreciate the help
you could always just make the decals their own separate mesh/material and have more control there (like how GT models are)

More fun fooling around. I watched the replay of the Kyalami 1976 race that @Fall Guy posted about 20 times and in the first lap crash, I didn't see sand. I saw more of a dirt\grass look when they were pulling out the #15 car so that's what i'm trying to replicate. I still need to work on the coloring (a little too green). The other big sand area looked more like a big dirt pit so that one will have to be done differently.

I'm at a loss with animations of some mods. How do you control them? I've never fooled with them, I just drive. I've downloaded a Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Black and I can't close the hood! Please help.
You need to map buttons to the Extra options in Content Manager here :- Settings-Assetto Corsa-Controls-Patch-Car

-Extra A = Clusterchange
-Extra B = Foglights
-Extra C = open/close Hood
-Extra D = open/close Trunk
-Extra E = open/close left door
-Extra F = open/close right door

50% "SOLVED"

So i deactivated the "new flames" restarted the PC, restarted the game twice, at least the "old" flames are working again.
I can live with it. Its a pitty i can`t get the new flames to working properly, never could. There are real eyecandy

Hi,

Guys please help me

After long time i updated my CSP from 176 to 179
After that no AI car, no matter which i have tested so far, spreads exhaust flames. I have had this problem already back than with CSP 177 and following ones.

Seems no matter if i enable "new flames" it`s even not working if i do untick "new flames" option.

Don`t know what is wrong. I don`t want but i will roll back againb to the old 176 because missing those flames blows is a big immersion braker :banghead:
:(

I don't know the solution mate, sorry, because I don't use such things, but it's good that there are these additions, because of that there are no boring weekdays... we would just sit and stare blankly at nothing and wait the AC2.

Manfeild v1.0

Screenshot_ks_corvette_c7_stingray_manfeild_21-3-123-20-23-54.jpg

Manfeild: Circuit Chris Amon (formerly Manfeild Autocourse) is a motor sport circuit located in Feilding, New Zealand. It was built by the Manawatu Car Club in 1973 as a purpose-built course. In 1990 extra land was acquired and the circuit extension built, bringing Manfeild up to international standards. The circuit was renamed the Manfeild: Circuit Chris Amon, in honour of former New Zealand Formula One driver Chris Amon, on 25 November 2016.
The name "Manfeild" was derived from "Manawatu" being the region the circuit is in and "Feilding" the town it is in. (Wikipedia)
