If anyone is interested:

Some time ago I did this small pack, depicting the 1960 Indianapolis 500. I replaced all the names and teams, putting the most historical accurate names of drivers and teams possible, in addition to a preset, which is in accordance with the original starting positions of the race.

I don´t hold any credits for the car and track (both belong to Legion). My contribution only is for the preset and UI for all the cars. Feel free to edit the number of laps and AI difficult at your own will.

Btw, I had intended to do the same for 1963, but since Legion's Roadsters come from PC2, they don't have real skins (I think only 1 is real). Which puts an end to my reasons for making a preset for it.

Legion made it that way. the mod itself represents 3 different chassis (Kurtis, Kuzma, and Watson) each skin uses ext_config magic to swap out parts for each chassis type. There should be three kn5s in the root mod folder named for each chassis, I believe you can rename each of these to indy_roadster_offy.kn5 for previews/custom showroom, but in game the og indy_roadster_offy.kn5 should be in place.
 
This version that @CrisT86 mentioned is not a Gilles rework but a RF2 conversion. The track will be again updated, once I found sufficient time to do this
That rF2 conversion is frickin lit! Awesome track, thanks for bringing it to AC! (One of the reason I'm not at all interested in the excellent prototype's upcoming East London track, only Killarney and the others - because this version of East London is already good enough!)
 
Any ideas to fix the AA? I have tried several configurations (AC, CSP, nvidia control panel...) but I cannot eliminate the flickering shadows on the walls and saws on cables and distant objects

Same problem here. I've tried all sorts of settings in nvidia control panel and CM and I couldn't fix it.

Mod is nice, love the Porocup. But why not to fix suspension / ride height? Look at stance level. It even looks un natural, just compare to real Porsche cup photos

Nothing will be changed whilst the hot lap competition is running.

In the mean time it has adjustable suspension so you can raise the car a little if desired or even lower it a bit more.

I will look at the body offset once the hot lap competition is complete.

Try this in ext_config.ini:

[DRIVER3D_HIDE_OBJECT_...]
NAME = DRIVER:GEO_Driver_FACE

Untested but it should work. I dont use VR so I can test some things.
I always swap those bare-headed mannequins for a standard Kunos helmeted driver.
No idea why everyone seems to use them these days.
Edit: Simply because its a street car and usually you dont use a helmet on your drive to work. ;)

Hey, could a photoshop master help me with an AO map? I would like to grey out the decals from the skin livery in the AO map so that it's not reflective (Since i will put a metallic reflection on the car body)

Would greatly appreciate the help
 
at least he seems to follow assetto corsa pipeline. There are modders who does conversion (bad shaders, no ao map, assets from multiple people = 10min of work) who paywall their cars because "i can't give my time effort dedication and receive nothing in return while i can do other things that may contribute to my life"
Mfs should get a job it'd be less tedious and they'd be paid more lmao

Hi,
Might be of help here (no guaranteed solution though).
(I've struggled with this myself in the past (due to NV driver updates). My initial guess is now your driver has been updated.
If so, the new installation is also assigning acs.exe to 2 other game profiles using acs.exe (ACS and Assassin Greed Syndicate)...
Have you checked in Nvidia Inspector which application/games use the SAME acs.exe as well?
I KNOW for fact Assassins Greed Syndicate uses it too. Also a profile ACS uses it as well.
Go to both game profiles in NV Inspector and delete the acs.exe in those profiles accordingly.
Then, be sure to only assign acs.exe to your Assetto Corsa profile (delete all other stuff, which come back again by default later on)
Hope this helps; It did for me at least. Let me know if you were successful.
 
I'm at a loss with animations of some mods. How do you control them? I've never fooled with them, I just drive. I've downloaded a Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Black and I can't close the hood! Please help.

omg mate. i spent 41 lap with this beauty and it is bloody fun to drive! some setup changes it the car really flies! couple of tenth were not enough to jump into 1.31.xxx time range.
101cretive this driver is pure Stig should be)

anyway it is the one of best cup car i tried in AC. I only wish it was pre-restyle 996 :)

GRAND PRIX 1973 AI AND REAL NAME PATCH

This patches the slow AI cars in races for the F1 1973 mod by SimDream. If you have black tires deactivate the TyresFX in Content Manager.

Fuji Speedway with 80s layout.

Fuji Speedway is a motorsport race track standing in the foothills of Mount Fuji, in Oyama, Suntō District, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.
It was built in the early 1960s.
In the 1980s, Fuji Speedway was used for the FIA World Sportscar Championship and national racing. (Wikipedia)

Thanks for the reply. My graphics driver has been updated recently so I gave this a go.

I was able to delete the single acs.exe instance in the ACS game profile but get this unhandled exception message when I try to delete them from the Assassin's Creed Syndicate profile, and it shows 3 of them!
