Didnt know there was a mod for this car. It doesnt feel bad while driving (i think that is converted from rf2) but yeah, the textures mostly at the engine cover, mirror and the sidepods need a little rework to look more like the real thing. But well, at least there is a mod for this car with the real skins so happy with it :D (and the car in a front view looks good)

i had a look and it seems it just needs a little love. i may sort it out over in the next few weeks if its only graphics work. havent got time to do any physics atm. if someone could sort out the liveries with names etc that would help

loved the A1 GP series, would be great to have this mod in a top level kind of condition.
shirt and cap in my collection, were worn by Matt Halliday when he was up against the likes of Hulkenberg and the rest

Chassis 6075
Customer: Jack Leconte
Delivery: 8. June 1993
Color: Grand-Prix White

This is one of the famous Larbre cars. The livery of the car is present in most of our minds. A real classic.
The car was delivered just in time for the 1993 24H of Le Mans. Larbre had just 12 days of preparation, which shows how incredible competitive the 964 RSR was coming straight from the factory.

The car finished 16th overall and 2nd in the GT class.

1 month and a few days later the car was entered in the Spa 24H race. In 1993 this race was filled with a lot of Porsche. It saw the 964 Cup, several 964 RSRs and Cup or RS cars which had been converted to RSR spec.
The car ran under the Monaco Media International banner.

The car finished in 5th place for general classification and in class.

The car did not compete in any other races in 1993, but came to the BPR series in 1994.

In this race the colors look like if it was the chassis 6074 which competed under the banner of Monaco Media International in 1993s Le Mans 24H race. The "RSR 3.8" book (authors:Jürgen Barth and others) says that chassis 6075 was the car which competed in Paul Ricard in 1994.

The car finished the race in 3rd spot for the general classification and 1st in class. 3rd is again an incredible result, as there have been GT1 cars competing against it.

to be continued......
The second and last run in BPR was the 1994 Jarama 4H race. Pierre Yver, Jean-Luc Chereau and Jack Leconte finished 5th in total and 1st in class. What a great success. The design of the car was a weird mix in between the Chereau Design and the FATurbo Design. But hey Larbre cars always look good

On year after its debut at Le Mans the Larbre car #52 took the win in 1994 and finished 8th overall. Again an impressive performance and a sign of rock solid reliability. Second win in a row for Larbre after winning the class in Jarama.

Le Mans was kind of an retirement for this highly successful car...... or was it not? I have no idea if Larbre kept the car, or if Monsieur Miloé bought it and asked Larbre Compétition to prepare the car for the 1999 FFSA GT Season, but the car came back for one full season of racing in the GT3 class. The design was a mixture of everything the car had seen (FATurbo, Chereau, etc.), to refer to the 1994 Le Mans class win the team even kept some Michelin stickers even if the car was using Pirelli tyres in the series.
What was another special aspect of this car is that it had a very short racing career (leaving FFSA GT aside), but it used different tyre makes for nearly every race (Goodyear, Yokohama, Dunlop, Michelin, Pirelli) and it was successful nevertheless.

After the season the car was finally retired. Sometimes it can be seen at historic events in its original Le Mans 1994 livery.

All skins representing the life of chassis 6075 will be either part of the BPR Recreation Project or released with the car. I hope you like the skins.

Daniel

Nice! Was actually converting the 2002 Grand AM Lola skins including the Porsche version.
That should convert over fairly easily. Only the wrap onto the airbox would be different... and Goodyear instead of Michelins (The body changed somewhat between the 2000 and 2002 versions, but not significantly) (AND you're saving me from having to do the Rolex skin :) Thanks!)

I do belive I have, what was a private mod sanctioned by A1GP circa 2005, for rFactor
I do not think it was ever released, nor converted to AC. If anyone is interested in converting it
(I can do the physics, as I did them for that mod)

My 917k 1971 JSON files fix pack, together with fixes for flaps, wings, fins, mirrors and air intakes for txt files.

Anyway, as always the reminder: YOU NEED TO HAVE THE CAR INSTALLED FIRST (917k ´71 by Legion), as I only share the skin folder with the correct names & etc.

All my corrections will now be together in one folder on mediafire, just search and download what you want there (any future fixes and additions will be there aswell):
CREDITS:
Legion for the Porsche 917 ´71
Jacky X for the Martini Skin Pack for the Porsche 917
GPLGEM & bdd for some other Skins (Gulf and Usdau)

(My thxs for all these guys! All the credit goes to them,; if I miss someone, just dm me!!!)

Obs: 3 skins are with an asterisk - I couldn't find them at all, so I put replacements in their place, just to complete the grid; I hope that one day someone decides to do any of them, so I'll update my pack.

1971 Le Mans #57 Zitro
1971 Correct numbers for all Usdau cars that raced with fins (#6, #25, #55)

Does anyone know of a link that has all the ACC conversion cars? I've got one or two but I'm looking at getting them all now - I know this is quite an old topic to be dredging up once more.
You can find them all (and much, much more) tracks, cars, mods, all cataloged and categorized by genre etc along with our race/time attack servers here ;)

Coll Del Buc Rally Stage Spain - rain and grass and vao and so on...

Track can be found here: https://assettorallygrb.wixsite.com/rallygrb/copia-di-hungary-slovenia-serbia

  • You should be able to copy the files straight into you assetto corsa folder as long as you have the track installed. It will ask to override - backup your track if you want to keep the original files.

  • If the new grass still won't show check your assetto corsa folder: extension/textures/grass_fx. You should have a "highlands.dds" file in there, otherwise no grassFX.

Hi.Just a quick question. How do you activate the free camera. I can’t seem to find it in CM. I had it then it disappeared after update. Cheers.

Long time ago I was expecting to meet you, I love this stage. I would like to make yo a suggestion:
Would you be able to release a Layout that outcomes from "La fullaca" roundabout? It would match the actual layout before arriving to the bridge, where now we find some New Jerseys and public, then doing a right hand hairpin to follow the stage to the end.

This was the version that I used to see and run in real life.

Thanks for that awesome work.

Edit: For some reason I thougt you were the creator of the track :odd:

NEWS

It took me two days but now I've completely rebuild the AI for Grindelwald, so please re-download the latest version again.

Improvements:
  • fixed cars going into pits after first lap (issued probably by wrong AI hints and missing ideal lane)
  • 2 sec. faster AI for long layout
  • fixed some traps for the AI, like this stumbling block opposite the train station
  • added a DRS file, so you can even go mad with modern F1 cars on the track
  • added ideal lane for track learning (press CTRL+I on track)
  • neutralized incorrect AI hints files

Some new cams would be nice.

More news:
Kuwaku17 will use my AI improvemnts in the next updates he said.

I'm now on with Sergio Loro to do the AI for his new tracks (next will be probably Vaca Valley or Suzuka 60s). I feel honored. :-)

Zolder 1967 project is progressing well and is a blast to drive, I did 1200 km already on it. However we a struggling for the optimization of the road mesh. If you able to do one feel free to contact me.

Happy racing!

EDIT: Another fix for Grindelwald, if you want to show the total driven distance in CM you have to get ride of the capitol letters in the ui folder of the track.

If you want them, I updated the ext_config files for my lemans_1967 track to include @Masscot cable fix. I'll be doing the vintage Spa cables as well, but that will be more involved. The cable texture is part of texture\material that impacts other objects so it's not a simple swap.
