Hi guys, i'malmost finished with my mods drive change, but i have some cars missing again, i'm missing for sure the melkus rs1000, and also all the mclaren and mercedes f1 cars, if anyone could point out where to get them it whould be immensly helpful

S206 NBR CHALLENGE PACK
Looking to scratch that rare scooby itch? We think we may have the solution with this... A Subaru Impreza WRX STi S206 NBR Challenge Pack! The S206 was produced in 2011, with the addition of the 'NBR Challenge Pack' option to commemorate its class win at the 24 Hours Nürburgring endurance race...
Out of the total 300 produced, 200 were stock S206 cars and just a mere 100 had the 'NBR Challenge Pack'
The S206 had a huge array of upgrades over the standard STi, check out the full.

It would be great if someone can do this, as I am doing FIA Group4 physics currently, and I am sure that Forza model will be much better and accurate.
Unfortunately, the model carbin format, 3ds Max handles it in principle, but it doesn't load for me. In principle, 3DSimED3 also handles it, but it doesn't load in it either... I have to somehow conjure up a 3ds format, then at least I could start working.

Oops...success.
Of course, a successful outcome is not guaranteed at all - as I said, I'm not good enough.

Well, I took a look, the Forza model is clearly much nicer.
By the way, the dimensions of the old version are quite accurate, so since my knowledge is incomplete, I will leave the original chassis, cockpit and first step the better Forza body...

  • You should be able to copy the files straight into you assetto corsa folder as long as you have the track installed. It will ask to override - backup your track if you want to keep the original files.

  • If the new grass still won't show check your assetto corsa folder: extension/textures/grass_fx. You should have a "highlands.dds" file in there, otherwise no grassFX.

Mate, are you really sure, it isn´t just your PPF?
This is how it looks on my system with standard Pure PPF. Way, way less bright than your first screenshot.

Me too. I see all these over exposed screen shots and luminous grass, yet i never have that problem.
I also don't run SOL or Pure just my own variation on the default weathers, so in there if you know what to look for you can do most of it there.
And that's before you start messing with filters.

I'm working on some GPL conversion at the moment. If I can figure out everything I need, I maybe have a look at Ginettos and Sergios Daytona 1970.
Thanks for thinking about it! I never realized that the Daytona 1970 was one of Sergio's. I think that pretty much guarantees that it would be great. Take care!
 
Hi, I have little issue with CSP 0.1.80-preview218 and Pure v 0.180: on starting line or in the stands, when the car is at a standstill, some cars are moving alone very slowly...an idea how to resolve? Thanks to the community.
 
It needs new left and right sidelines recorded. As they are now, they run through pit lane which will cause the ai to hit the wall if they run outside the normal racing line. If you don't know how to do it, let me know. I can record them real quick for you.



I'm bored since I don't have any ongoing projects so I goof'd around a little with the Bilster Berg 2020 track. Turned out pretty nice, IMO.

Bilster Berg only received public updates until v0.98 IIRC. Next ones then were only kept private to some point due to legal issues. I have a version farther than this one here above and also can confirm I don´t have any nuclear grass as shown in the pic.

@ludwig6666 any chance to provide your treeFx magic on the track?

Any way to get a copy of either the track or the ext_config you use with the track. I'd like to see try and figure out whether I have an old version of the track or an out of date ext_config. The one used for the nuclear pic I posted is whatever one came with the track. That's why I altered it.

Could it be that some petrol-sniffer with cataracts forced through their own personal 'improvement' via github? Fat Alfie's tracks don't usually require any tinkering.

Could be. I just know whatever config came packed with the track I downloaded displayed what is in the first pic I posted and it does so no matter what ppfilter I use. So it's either the track itself or the included config that it causing the huge difference in what I see compared to others.

I noticed this as well, no idea why

My Bilsterberg doesn't look as nuclear as yours, but the grass is too bright on mine too.
There was a old config in tracks/loaded, I removed that one and I'm using the config v1.6 from nobody & atrip3.
With latest SOL and SOL_extra PP filter I get this:

Some other PP filters (which I almost never use, as SOL_extra is always active on my system) make the grass a little bit darker (not greener).

My current system is as follows, and I generally enjoy a solid 90fps in vr with pretty decent graphics, and shadows and reflections low.

Would I see a noticeable difference upgrading my gpu to a 3080ti? Or would you upgrade another part?

CPU - i7 9700k
GPU - Palit 3070ti 8gb
RAM - 3200 16GB (2 x 8) CL16
Samsung M2 drive
Quest 2 headset (hardwired)
Playseat with G29

Hey guys, does anyone know if there is a good 1985 Zandvoort, Montreal or Silverstone/Brands Hatch in the making or even a 1985 f1 skin for 1967 Kyalami?

I'd love to see that in AC, but unfortunately it didn't happen until today.

So does anyone know anything about something like that?

On the Assetto Rally GRB page, when I first tried to download the Urbasa Navarra course, it first appeared that the link didn't work, as I was clicking in the center of the download button. However, move to the empty left side of the button, and it works. You might add a note to your post about this, if you experience the same when you try the link.

Me too. Car does not load and causes game crash.

try the trick mentioned earlier, extract data , and delete the original data.acd file .... that seems to do the trick , worked for me as well...

btw, there is one skin which is named "WR Blue Pearl" but is showing a plain white skin...
if you add this , you get a nice chameleon skin instead like such:

(My very first mod!!)

With the help of: Buja(MNBA), Masscot, Graveltrap, Fanapryde and Norms.

The Donkervoort D8 GTO weighs just 695kg but is packed with an Audi TTRS engine, tuned by Donkervoort to output 382hp and 475NM. It doesn't have fancy power-steering, or ABS. It does have adjustable traction control, to help you get acquainted with it.

Before starting this journey I didn't dare to hope this level of quality. I truly hope you enjoy the car. The mod is free and unecrypted. So if you want to adjust something to make it better, this is not frowned upon, this is actually encouraged!

hi joe , in game open the pure config app, and do a reset ... then choose your desired PP filter, and eventually play around w the pure settings to finetune the look how you want it...

For example I now use "One" pp filter found here , and w that one i do not need to increase daylight... w other PP filters I sometimes needed to increase the light... but really you need to find the one that you like most... and start always w doing Pure settings reset (so you are starting from baseline).

Anyway, " des goûts et des couleurs... "
but I guess you can obtain the shades of green you desire simply by changing pp filter and pure settings alone, and not having to change the grass textures on all the maps...

In short : No.

Upgrade, well, I don't see why would you, except the G29 maybe. But that's not graphics related ^^

@Rainmaker87 You probably already know that but there is a "TED edits" version of your track, from earlier than the new upgraded one. Graphically it is a bit messed up, but It seems to have new objects on it, Looking pretty decent outside of the coloring, and a slightly more stable AI (same group of various 60's cars I want to BOP : around 10s +/- for his, more like 15s for your's, with a 2/3 sec gap for the top group, which doesn't happen on his).

Did you had a look at it ? I probably wont keep his version after that but maybe something is salvageable.

EDIT : nevermind the AI part, third test on both and results are not significantly different.
