And also the wall collisions? They are kinda strange in some places. But I also agree, it's an amazing trackHi, does anyone know if there's a lighting update for the fln_long beach track? It's a great track and would love to race there at night too
there is some irony with that. If you replace the ai.ini file with RSS's Ai they are literally on Par with each other it's the same boat with scamdreams 1986 (which is just the lotus 98T physics anyways)I’m also looking for these two.
Now before anyone says “but there’s already a Kunos Lotus 98T!” - there is, but it’s very hard to BoP it sufficiently enough, where it competes with the RSS 1986 on all tracks. Sometimes it’s on a par, other times it’s too OP and at others it’s too slow.
I havent tested myself as most times your upgrades give better performance but 3d trees are the worse thing to happen to AC in recent times.
Yep, you're right... Gidday, mate! 😝 (Or night, I don't know, I'm on the opposite side of the world... 😅)as a Truck driver, I wish fat lesbian truckers look that good
in flight sims the issue is solved by the fact 3d trees arent often rendered in full detail as your usually many kms above them. hence people complaining of frames taking a hit when close to the deck.Is there not a way to reduce or delete the 3D trees? In my case I dislike emphatically visible low poly and 2D objects, so I always try to delete or replace them with more realistic objects.
In the modern flysim games they have tackled the 3D trees and 3D clouds performance issues, so eventually that will also happen in AC.
yeh i have been trying to get indianapolis by 13x to work with "3d tree's and prm" by ludwig. and i cant seem to just get the prm without the 3d tree's. everytime i put the bits in the folders for prm i have no tree's at all. i am guessing the new kn5 model has either 3d tree's that work with the extension folder or nothing at all. i dont no i am guessing. it does get a little frustrating as a prm shouldn't have anything to do with tree's.....should it?in flight sims the issue is solved by the fact 3d trees arent often rendered in full detail as your usually many kms above them. hence people complaining of frames taking a hit when close to the deck.
you can remove the 3d trees via the ext config but if the original 2d ones from the model have been removed things start to look weird.
Thats the difficulty in flysims if you get higher in the air the 3D trees are indeed not that important, but in exchange of that you get the 3D clouds.in flight sims the issue is solved by the fact 3d trees arent often rendered in full detail as your usually many kms above them. hence people complaining of frames taking a hit when close to the deck.

An almost €1.000 graphics card as recommended "solution"???Then its good to know GPU’s are always getting better, like the RTX4070ti is better then the old king of the hill the RTX3090 and the RX6950XT https://tweakers.net/reviews/10744/...-gedegradeerde-4080-prestatiescore-games.html So its just a matter of time.
I only do hope the development will not be stopped because of some issues that can be solved or by upgrading your hardware. I’m in 2023, absolutely not a fan of the famous 2D objects and low poly models, we still see in some of the new to release tracks. For a more 3D, happily I will lower the graphical adjustments in CM to get a realistic view in VR.

For the judgement reducing FPS by the 3D trees on this specific track I have to look, only my man-cave is a bit hot in summer time.
Though I'm pretty sure you are just kidding, please don't start getting involved in that treeFX thing... it's bad, really bad.An almost €1.000 graphics card as recommended "solution"???
Wow, gift me one, and I will fix 10 tracks to be Tree_FX compatible, but for sure with workaround for the ones don´t being gifted...

As I posted for you in PM,Hey there,
if you dont remember me, Im the guy asking the windshield-banner questions
so, after the reflection issue could get solved with help of slider (and others),
here comes my new question, get ready:
can I (hopefully easy) adjust the windshield-banners transparancy?
like, if there was a possibility in the config ini to add some lines where I can adjust from 0 to 100 or something like that?
these lines are just for fun, as I have actually no idea how it would look in order to work
[MESH_ADJUSTMENT_...]
MESHES = Banner_int
MATERIALS =
IS_TRANSPARENT = 0.5
But maybe someone knows the correct lines? As always, appreciate your help and support!!
Regards
Dave

This is a great business model, build a new body shell for a retired GT3 racing car and charge a cool few million dollars for it.When I hear the word "Ferrari", soft and feminine shapes come to my mind... delicate waists, refined lips, proportioned behinds...
That car is like a fat lesbian trucker.
Go into the folder f302_jaguar_xjr-9_lm and create a new folder named extension, go inside this new folder and copy the ext_config.ini from the rar in it.Where does the ext_config file need to be put
Thanks
Looks like the Benetton download link has been removed from RD now if anyone has this one to please
Thanks
is_transparent is a flag meaning it only returns 0 or 1 (or true/false). same with is_active and so onHey there,

I dropped in to see what's going on and this is the first thing I see...
There are good and bad ones. Its like with the tracks configs or tracks themselfs. Those trees can look realy good. My favourite set is the one for Monza:Though I'm pretty sure you are just kidding, please don't start getting involved in that treeFX thing... it's bad, really bad.
In the state it is now it's one of the worst things you can add to AC.
Just tried latest one for Gnoo Blass. I have never ever seen trees like that IRL, nowhere. They look alien.
Quickly reverted back to the originals.
Until now - afaik - I have kept one treeFX update. It did look better than the origininal trees and for some reason it almost didn't impact fps, nor did I have weird shadows or popping.
And I keep trying them, some tracks don't even look real anymore because the wrong kind of trees were added...
Just a quick response to Gnoo Blas.Though I'm pretty sure you are just kidding, please don't start getting involved in that treeFX thing... it's bad, really bad.

Here in Spain we have a joke about this with the Abarth 595: they take a perfectly normal one, change the rims, paint it a new colour, put a fancy badge on it, add a couple thousand to the price and voila!, we have the "Weekly Special Limited Edition"... another one... And they sell them all! Those Italians are marketing geniuses...This is a great business model, build a new body shell for a retired GT3 racing car and charge a cool few million dollars for it.
... for instance, in this updated track...... There are good and bad ones... Those trees can look realy good...
... that not only is well optimized to don´t lose fps compared to the previous version, but in my case I've even gained a couple more. Despite I'm currently wary of 3D Trees due to usual drop in fps, it must be recognized that on a well-optimized track, as said, they can contribute a lot, but seems that implement it without lossing performance is only within the reach of a few chosen.... Second - UPDATE
Indy Toronto...
Yep, sorry... Instead of in the Wax Museum, that Alonso figure should be on display in the Museum of Horrors...I dropped in to see what's going on and this is the first thing I see...
Luckily Fiat/Abarth is less and less italian as time passes by, each and every season they grow some more comtempt for the country and move something abroad. Here in Spain we have a joke about this with the Abarth 595: they take a perfectly normal one, change the rims, paint it a new colour, put a fancy badge on it, add a couple thousand to the price and voila!, we have the "Weekly Special Limited Edition"... another one... [edit]
It looks much better now, but can somehow remove the windshield tint?I have adjusted the colors of the car to the original, the result now looks truer and more saturated, just copy it into the skin folder, because of the mapping it seems impossible to paint the car, but the Jaguar logo and the purple should look nice, right?
