Thank you for the cable fix!

Yes, I was getting a little of the z-fighting. I think it is the road.kn5 popping up through the st_zhejiang.kn5 - tried lowering it a little, but perhaps not enough?

Edit: Try dropping these in the main track folder. Not perfect as the two variations seem to have subtly different elevation changes in some places, but I've reached the depths of my expertise :D

With thanks to @Quark67 I've eliminated the superfluous .kn5 that was causing the z-fighting. Took the opportunity to do a little bit of other housekeeping in models.ini and UI files. GTPlanet download updated, and if you just want the final z-fighting fix grab the two ini's attached to this post and drop in main track folder (plus an update for reverse layout that may have caused a crash).

I respect the grind and a lot of people surely would appreciate the effort! But you will not be able to produce something as nice as you just did with the 2008-cars - those are leaps and bounds better than the 1999-models which probably were created in 2000 or 2001!

Take a careful look at the meshes (and textures) and see if you find them worthy of your time and effort!
 
Hi all, at risk of sounding like a broken record: booted up Content Manager for the first time in probably a month today, and everything is coming up with a crash error when trying to start a session (have tried many different cars and tracks). I have 0.179 CSP installed, so not sure how to fix...

New track (only here): Snetterton 2005 (RD link will be deleted)

This 3D-track was made for GTR2 by zwiss. It was converted to Assetto Corsa by Rainmaker. Thanks for the permission zwiss!

New track (only here): Hockenheimring 2001

This 3D-track was made for Automobilista by Reiza. It was converted by quattropower01 to Assetto Corsa. The overhaul was done by Rainmaker.

Changelog:
-full update with shader overhaul, doulbe sided objects, fixed crowds, fixed stretched Mobil 1 texture, vao, new short layout and many things more, added AI by KevinK2 for GP layout, reconverted the original trees, more pits (30), cams by DaBaeda, option to remove the 2d crowd in extension file below (ext_config.ini)

Drag&droping driver's suit and helmet, sometime only the helmet change. How do I get the suit to work in those instances?

Hi! This month, I bring my fav Group B car - frankly, the one that ended that era.... Here comes the Ford RS200. I made 2 versions - one is stock, street-going vehicle (low power version), and the other is rally monster. I hope it'll give You as much fun as I had while making it! ^^

Features:
-Stock low-power RS200 Evo
-Group B version with somewhat decent BoP towards Kunos' Audi Quattro
-CM Paintshop support with livery templates
-CSP config
-Animations:
Auto: Animated interior
Extra A: Open trunk
Extra B: Rally lights
Extra C: Open hood
-Visual setup changes (aero package - of course it affects physics as well)

An improvement for the BMW skins (Le Mans 1973), the old one (the video I had made was in low resolution), I found another one but I had to adapt it.

Before moving on, I would like to ask for some help. Looking at photos from the time, I'm having doubts if the top part (front and rear capo) was "red" or more like "pink". There are photos in practically both colors (I had this doubt).

If anyone can tell what the true shade would be, I would be grateful.

I made a quick search in google image. It seems red, the "orange" version de seems from 1975...

Youre talking about the blue/red lines right?
 
Doesn't the game care if a mod is case sensitive, is it that simple?
It seems that time laps won't be saved if kn5 files or directories names have capital letters (only for the tracks and cars directories).

Some cars under the control of AI, when reaching the maximum speed in the last gear, change the gear ratio, how to make sure that this does not happen? I edited the final.rto with the gear ratios i needed, but the AI still changes them during the race.
Probably, few people bother with the behavior of AI in small things :D I solved this problem, it is necessary to increase the value of LIMITER_HZ= in the enine.ini up to +250, usually this value is 35-80.

I have another question, please advise a good version of the Ford GT40 MK4, now i use ac_legends_gt40_mk4, but it has strange physics, the car is controlled too hard, as if its weight is +2 tons.

Content Manager doesn't play well when capital letters are used in track and car names.
For cars driven distance and top speed will not be recorded.
Can't remember right now what the exact issues were when using capitals in track names, but in short:
there is no need to use capitals, but some modders don't know or don't care or maybe they think the capital letters look cool, idk... :D

I use Kaspersky too (Anti-Virus version), and no problems to download on my end... Possibly you have more restrictive settings?

By the way, I just tested the GTA XX Concept and it's fun as taking a roller coaster ride with a crazy ex-girlfriend.... 😝

Hi guys,

I'm currently currently working on a mod for the Ford Fiesta MK7 (with the model from Forza Motorsport 3/4) because so far, the versions that are around (either "standard" and ST) haven't been the best for my own taste.
So, that's the result so far, that I could achieve...



..and so far I'm quite happy with the outcome and, if the demand is there, and I'm happy with the result I would release it in near future.
It's not perfect by any means (especially since it's my first mod I worked on apart from liveries and some basic data rewrites). And some things are still driving me nuts, for example that the emissive blinkers are the wrong way around and I don't know why and how to fix it. :D

If anyone would like to test drive the mod, just write me a message. I won't be around for a week though. :)

AC needs some street version fiesta. I tried to improve the version of 101creative for personal use but I haven't been very good at it. I actually hope that, sooner or later, there will be a mk8 😍

Anyone able to make an alternative drivetrain.ini with longer gear ratios that are more suitable for track racing?
The 'street' version has the same short gears as the Gr. B car, and soon runs out of puff on straights.

Indeed. The Fiesta is such a little, nimble FWD car, that's really fun to drive and I think it deserves a place in AC.

My version won't be perfect (at the moment it's missing the wipers and rain drops on the windshield) but the exterior/interior quality and the driving itself should be quite good.

At least, that's what I'm feeling after owning a MK7 and now a MK8 Fiesta ST. :)

Yes...but there are some photos where it looks like instead of "red" the hue looks like "pink"...but only on top of the details of the stripes.

I have the same issue. Was hopeful someone would post about within CSP somewhere to turn on or off something or a patch would be released.

But I found just hitting 'Try Again' will launch it like normal.

I have a race red 2021 mk8 duratec. It's not fast for obvious reasons but the chassis is amazing

Coming along nicely!
This isn't a bad sequential shifting animation for the Vertigo, but it would need tweaking slightly or the shifter moving to the left to meet the hand position. But the action is nice.
