Honestly, 2011 also lack a good mod, I already did a V0.1 but still need a lot of improvements, I aim to make it as good as the 2010 mod I just did, but it'll take some time, I have 2008 already in the pipeline (90% done) and FVA to finish before
Hi, the f1 2010 mods are beautiful, congratulations; I note, however, that the textures of the tires are not the same for all cars; Mclaren Ferrari and Redbull have sharper and more detailed textures. The others, especially in the absence of light, are of lower quality. How do you charge rain tires? A thousand thanks

I have to add, I know absolutely nothing about car physics, so please don't take this as criticism!
I dont. :)

Other people (like Paul 🫢) complained about a too light steering wheel, which resulted into a low FFB for them.

Personally I had to reduce the FFB with my CSW2.5 to 67% now instead of 100% before. But FFBClip is my friend since many, many years, old (<5) version tho. ;)

Its always pretty hard to find a compromise, but I've talked to people using a DD and they had no problems with the FFB of v1.2.

FYI, RGB/NM mapping of the steering wheel was basicly not existend, should have checked those textures. Created new ones during my lunch break and will update the car maybe this evening or within the next days.

Thanks for your reply - I'm sure I will be able to find a suitable setting for my own setup.
Looking forward to further improvements of this great car!

Hey, I’ve got the asr 91, 92, 93 F1 cars - the cars are great but I’ve got the following issues and was hoping someone may have some advice.

First the internal engine sound is very low, all the rest of the sounds are great , it’s seems like a surround sound coding issue. It’s ok using headphones, and I don’t have the issue with other cars bar a couple. I’m using the z5500 Logitech speakers. Thoughts?

The second is the steering is too light and doesn’t have the turning into the corner resistance. Force feedback detail and feel is great it’s just the cornering resistance is way too low. Just upping FFB force isn’t the answer as this just makes it heavier all round, I’m just after the wheel to push back on me turning in. Thoughts?

in the setup you should find under "generic" the steer assistant. I always turn it about 20 points down. You feel the difference instantly!

I'm sorry but where do I find this track exactly? I'm currently getting up to speed to all mods I missed for two months here and in other sites since I got my PC back fixed yesterday because it had a motherboard problem since August and it got replaced with a new one. Apologize for this long absence.

I wonder if someone might be able to shed light on something that's always bothered me. On some cars, generally those with separate windscreens as opposed to modern integrated windshields, the windscreen glass material reduces the darkness of the shadows under competitors' cars (or eliminates the shadows completely). This happens regardless of lighting conditions. For example, here's what normal car shadows look like:

windshield_2.png

But here's what I see through the windscreen:

windshield_1.png

windshield_3.png

I'd like the shadows to remain dark. I've fixed it on a couple cars by going into the CM showroom and messing with the values for the glass material, changing the alpha mode from "alpha blending" to "alpha testing" and/or the blend mode from "normal" to "read only." While I have no idea what I'm doing here, this worked for SimDream's Maserati 6CM (for instance), but not for HSS's Alfa Romeo P2.

Does anyone have any idea why this happens and/or how to fix it?
may i ask which pp filter this is?

I'm pretty happy with how I have the ffb set right now, which is at about 125% gain in-game. I do get a fair bit of shudder in the the wheel at certain times, so I might tweak it a bit yet. But some of it I like to imagine is just the rough behaviour of a fairly old car design, and I'd rather have more character than less.

Another wonder was about braking strength. There are times when I really have to stand on them to slow the car enough, and another person pointed out that brake torque was already increased by 400 Nm compared to a lesser model, so, again, this could just be a quirk of this real life car.

The only other comment is some surprise about how stable the car is; I'd expect it to be more squirrelly in the rear.

My first thought would be @Breathe list, and guess what: it's there !
Any one got any idea as to how I can contact SHIN who did the ASR 1992 TRACK PACK
He's here as shi

Can anyone tell me how to best manage previews with csp? Let me start by saying that I see everything correctly in the game. In practice, some cars can be seen perfectly (like this Ferrari) while others look like stadium headlights (595). I tried changing some settings in the preview settings but to make the ones that blind you look good, the others become very dark. I am going crazy.
yeah, it´s quite difficult to find settings which fit to every car. Currently I am using the following previews.

Does anyone know what causes this weird interior shadow flickering and can help me get rid of it? Wasn't a problem a few months ago, but now no matter what I do this happens all the time, not constantly, but often enough to be extremely distracting.

In Settings | Custom Shaders Patch | Extensions | Colorful Shadowing, you could try turning it off completely or partly. Experiments! :)

First of all thank you very much for your work, bringing another great vintage racecar to AC.
I drove it al lot over the last days, wonderful!

I just wanted to point out that since the update I get FFB clipping and quite heavy steering.
Could of course be a problem on my end as often is the case but version 1 worked flawlessly.

I took the liberty and had a look into the car.ini and found that the values under [controls] were different between the versions...

version 1

[CONTROLS]
FFMULT=1.75
STEER_ASSIST=0.500
STEER_LOCK=360 ; Real car's steer lock from center to right
STEER_RATIO=17 ; Steer ratio
LINEAR_STEER_ROD_RATIO=0.00270

updated version

[CONTROLS]
FFMULT=4.543
STEER_ASSIST=1.00
STEER_LOCK=360 ; Real car's steer lock from center to right
STEER_RATIO=17 ; Steer ratio
LINEAR_STEER_ROD_RATIO=0.00252

I have to add, I know absolutely nothing about car physics, so please don't take this as criticism!
you actually did it right

STEER_ASSIST=
this is for increasing FFB due to downforce, and rarely should be under 1.0
For the highest downforce cars one might set that at 0.90 and even that is quite extreme (and 0.50 is simply rediculous)

I've apperard to have stummbled across an inside joke. A simple yes or no would do.
there is no inside joke.

a simple "hi guys i am new here and want to ask a question" would do

if you walk up to a group of people who you did not know at all and just started asking them questions they would look at you like you are rude and socially inept........see my point?

It's been a while since I posted anything but i thought i'd best start over with a nice intro post so I don't anger the "intro gate keepers" of GTP
Anyway Hello, amazing people of gt planet forum assetto corsa modding thread, my name is Dick Wiener and I love assetto corsa and the work everyone on here makes every day for free and unencrypted and public. I live in Scotland and I used to go watch races with my dad when I was a kid and that started my passion for cars and racing, a passion I can keep living thanks to this amazing game and community. But anyway, my question is: does anyone have anime nsfw driver models?

All 4 skins (doh) are now updated. The molexs (all!) were previously gnarled, and the driver name spacing on the #14daytona was irritating me. (UPDATED again @ 12:28pdt) (aargh. V3 Lexus logos for all! 6:30am pdt) I'm done :)
Thanks to RSS for the starting point, and RacingJoe for the Lexus logos! And I just realized that the tires should be credited to someone, but I chose them from that 1600+ car library without really thinking. Sorry.

The "Intro Gate Keepers" (I.G.K. for its acronym in English and also known in other cultures as Banshees or Dementors) are programmed to activate when their sensors detect that the forum member in question does not have messages in their account and the first thing he/she do is ask for something without politely introducing themselve or saying thank you... You, with circa 2600 messages, have nothing to worry about and can be rude, if you want... 😁
