Hello, I'm me: can you share the link? Thank you. Goodbye. 🥳... Save that for your onlyfans page.
I hope that the AC elite will forgive us a couple of messages on GTR2 in this thread. This is the AC modding forum, not GTR2.
You are right 😁 I had to zip the .cmpreset file because I couldn't upload it due to the unsupported upload extension.
That's all I wanted to say. That I thought putting emphasis on someone for not saying hello felt pointless.
You're right it's all about perception. Though with that said, I'll disagree with your perception and leave it at that.if someone is being rude then they should be told, i go around with my own perception nobody else's and i am 100% ok with that
what you may not find rude i do and visa versa, its all about ones own personal tolerance of that given situation
i would imagine you have become numb to it being a youtuber and seeing it pretty much daily........but that does not make it right, at least not in my book........again it goes back to ones own personal perception, nothing more
Links been updated to a new version.Donington Park 2018 Mod
This is an updated version of the test mod I put out a few days ago. Because of the number of changes, it got difficult to do it as a mod to the original track. I made it a standalone track so as not to fool with the original version. All credit for the track goes to the original author Brun. It will come up as Donington Park 2023 in your track list, but the year is not indicative of how the track is represented. I just needed some way to recognize which track was which. You can edit the ui files and give it whatever name you want.
Please let me know of any problems or suggestions so I can try and make it better.
Donington Park 2023
Changes from past version:
-- Added original author's name and version number to the track ui files.
-- Made the 40 pit layouts from Paprika work with my changes.
-- Added geo tags to the ui files.
-- Animated all of the flags that were not animated. I'm not real happy with the new flags, but at least they are animated. I wanted flags that were attached to the pole and did not arc in heavy winds, but I couldn't figure out how to make them. Plus they have an odd shading. In some directions, they are very bright and in other directions they are darker. Most likely a fault in the way I made them from lack of knowledge. If I ever find a way to fix these issues, I will update the flags.
-- Some tweaks to the night lighting and also enabled the lights to turn on when it rains.
-- Incorporated my grass changes directly into the kn5 file so it would be easier for people to make their own track skins.
-- Little tweaks to the ai sidelines to keep them off the raised kerbs. If you use a 3rd party ai already, then you may not need this.
-- Re-made the starting position file for the 40 pit GP layout from Paprika. Thanks to @Quikslvr for pointing it out to me. It must have been created for online use because he had the cars lined up in a position of the road that wasn't part of the track. This caused the ai cars in the back not to move at the start. It's not perfect and the tail end cars take some time to get moving, but at least they move now.
-- Fixed blurry Paddock area texture
-- Added semaphore lighting to start lights
One thing I still want to do is find a way to bring back the mow lines that the real track has. I've got some ideas on a way to do it, but I didn't want to hold up the release just for that.

Thank you for answering me. I had already done everything you wrote. The problem is the time, it defaults to 12 o'clock.I don't quite understand what's your problem... If you want that the game shows the actual time (and weather, I think) of the track you are driving on, you must tick "Real conditions". For it to work correctly, the tracks must be located using their corresponding "Geo tags".

Anyway, have you tried clicking on the three little points?

Those points opens windows that allows you to make some more adjustments. Let's see if you have an option activated in any of those menus that prevents what you want to achieve.
Damn I need these previews, can you provide a link please? Look spot on. Send me a PM if better for you please.
Wth????Hello there Paulo, I am RCG17 and I like to play racing games for fun.
So, there's my introduction; now for my response to your comment. I wouldn't say it hurts to do an introduction, but the thing is that on the internet. It's not typically expected on forums to do that in my experience and introductions for new users before making a post isn't typically expected on this site. On the other parts of the site with Gran Turismo or Forza Motorsport as examples; I haven't seen this being treated as a big deal on the count it's expected for most users to not bother with introductions.
Honestly, I found it to be a bit shocking there's an extra expectation on this forum thread to be pointing out the supposed rudeness of not introducing yourself as a new member. Once again, I really don't see an issue with someone replying with a simple question as long as they're not typing in all-caps or saying things that violate the AUP.
Hi Perico, I am just a Random Car Guy that enjoys racing games for fun including sims.
Now with my introduction out of the way, I can say that simply replying with a hello first isn't too much to ask for in joining a community. I also can say it could be rude if someone came up to me in public with a question, but that also depends on their approach. With how the other guy just simply asked "Do you have links to the mods?" That's honestly pretty harmless, especially compared to the replies I have gotten elsewhere.
Another thing to point out is that we're on an internet forum where introductions honestly don't feel exactly necessary, it doesn't feel as rude to me when someone randomly replies to me with a question here or on other websites regarding a mod or whatever else. At least in the way the other guy spoke. If said user was simply asking this question in a private message in a blunt manner such as "HEY, HOW DID YOU GET MODS?!" Then you would have a point.
Lol , i don't know how people are raised now a days, common courtesy is gone , i stopped relaising anything justy because people didn't take the time to thank, just asking have you got more...lol , looks like the end is coming faster than predicted.WTH????
Where did you read in my post that I was expecting an introduction???
I said: You will be good if you just be polite and say 'Hello'... FGS!!!
I don't care for anyone's lives!
Can you read, at least?

Thanks very much for your work, the track definitely looks better and I like it better with your new trees.I'll be dropping another Donington Park 2023 update soon with a couple of little changes.
1.) Added some material adjustments to lighten up some of the materials (mostly grass and trees) in the fall and winter when I find the game makes things a bit dark. Could just be my ppfilter but I notice it with other ones as well.
2.) Like I did with my Brands Hatch mod, I made a new treewall texture out of the textures for the main trees so that there is more of a seamless blend. Hopefully you won't be able to tell the difference between the treewall and regular trees. Also made a Trees track skin where I swapped a few tree textures I didn't like on the original. Little preview of the differences:

Hope to have it available soon. Just need to run it through a couple of test races to make sure i'm happy with it and then update the kn5 files.
They can be left disabled or deleted if you are happy with how things look wthout them turned on. They do nothing more than to give the grass a little more yellow\saturated look. It's so small a change I imagine most people won't pick up on it unless they compare screenshots. Thanks very much for your work, the track definitely looks better and I like it better with your new trees.
However I'm not sure what to do with the "grass" and "grass2" skin options, I tried them and couldn't really tell what are the differences. Are they meant to be also both enabled as part of your modifications?
The (M) is Mechanix WearNo worries, will change those !
Looking some logos on the GOH car from 2002 - I already have the Stand 21 sticker but I'm missing the red star and the couple of logos on the side (Dipro japan and.... M?)

Wheel Stand Pro is another great recommendation for Thrustmaster wheels. I own one for over few years now, It that takes up very little room and it's much sturdier than it appears.hi,
not what you were asking for, but as a T300 owner myself and knowing how much I love it and how it contributes to the overall joy and immersion, I would suggest you to something like this at least:
I started out with this one, also because I had no room for a full stand/cockpit...
It can be put anywhere , and folds so it can be put under a bed for example when not in use.
It is such a pity to know you have a T300RS and not using it!
That said , I hope you find joy either way (be it with wheel or game pad), but my advice: it's a well spent 129 euro!
Cheers.
edit : since the official site does not even show the folding capability in the pics, here you can see it very well in a nice YT review.
edit2: I must say I have since modified some things to my setup, as the wheel was wobbling too much for my taste. It is now intergrated with another fabrication and very sturdy, but that does make it I can't put it away anymore (but I have the space now , a dedicated room for my rig). Another option (bit more expensive but sturdier and more enjoyable out of the box) is their 2.0 version which you can see here
