Yeah, V1.5 will have dedicated physics for each cars.

Y'know, this whole thing about CSP texture replacement upgrade stuff has been bugging me for a whole time ever since I started modding, how exactly does it work? Does it replace existing textures on a car with its own set or do I still need to provide my own ones (like I did with my upcoming Honda City Turbo II converted from GTA V) and adjust them all with ext_config from there?
it changes the material/mesh to a pbr shader. The textures are either referenced from assettocorsa\extension\textures\common or you can specifiy a pathway (like if you put textures in extension folder)
 
Can someone please explain to me why some cars crash into the side wall at the start? It also happens on Kunos tracks, it's something that makes me very angry😡

I have a few cars in which they AI doesn't accelerate properly. So far I've only identified one thing that might cause it, which is cockpit adjustable turbo=1 in engine.ini

Are there any other things that may cause this?

None of them has to do with the issue of the gear up being higher than the rev limiter.....they do get off the line but they accelerate very slowly.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just did but the game crashes after pressing Ctrl+C.
Happened with both cars I'm testing.
Tried replacing the ai.ini file with one from a Kunos car but didn't change anything....car still driving slow and still crashing the AI app.

Remove car's extension folder while testing.
 
Does anyone have a fix for Fuji RT circuit? My mount Fuji is all white. I know there was a fix floating around on here a WHILE back now...
What fix ?
There's nothing wrong with the track. maybe it's your seasonals setting ? Winter ?
If not: Sol config, page 21, ta_fog_distance %: change the value until it looks good for you. it gets saved per track.

I have a problem with this Toyota Castrol Supra Gt500 (maybe a GT7 conversion). From inside the passenger compartment the front lights do not activate, while from the outside they do (images 1 and 2). Any solution? Thanks in advanceView attachment 1312466View attachment 1312467

Coincidentally, I was analyzing this model, the day before yesterday, along with other Supras, and I noticed exactly this issue, I created this lighting (in a very rustic way) and modeled the CSP wipers.This car also needs skins and lods, as it is an fps killer.

I slightly preffer #2 (the lower angle makes for a more natural way of looking at it, and makes the car look more 'fierce' and sleeker... I dunno how else to better put it.)

On the other hand, if you want your previews to show the colour of the dashboard, better to go with #1.


anyone knows how to save the Update previews settings & preview window position?
Each time I need to drag the preview window aside because it's behind the settings window... I would like to store the position so I don't have to do that anymore each time (after about thousanth times I'm finally fed up with it :lol: )

Ok, yeah I just did a search and you recommended to do that page 21 fix for someone else and that seemed to fix their issue (which was the same as mine), it looks like it's going to be a fog distance issue. Thanks 👍

If you drag the settings panel to the one of the sides of the preview window they will lock together. The settings pane needs to be slightly higher than the preview window for it to snap together.

Been a while since I posted, but every day I'm getting closer to finishing Pescara! Finally managed to get the mountains (Maiella, Gran Sasso) 50km away to load in the scene. First picture is the Pescara station area (altitude 0m), the second is the highest point of the track, Spoltore (170m).
