Hi all, does anyone know of any "tour" of a gt3 interior? I wanted to model a fictional gt3 interior but I cant figure out the functionality of all the electronic components (and the wiring) and how it's all connected. The only video I managed to find was one of the M4 GT3 which briefly explained some things like the bop weights, but that's about it. Thanks

I have no idea if it will work on a car, but you can try this, it works for tracks.

[SHADER_REPLACEMENT_...]
ACTIVE=1
DESCRIPTION= ENABLE SINGLE SIDED
MATERIALS=
MESHES =
CULL_MODE= ON
Yeah, it was one of the first things I've tried, didn't do the trick unfortunately... but thanks for trying to help anyway, it's appreciated.
I guess I'll have to try to edit the mesh manually in 3dsimED or something

Disable the extension folder for the time you create your previews (re-name it to something else).

Is somebody able to create a wiper config for AssettoDrive´s Porsche 911 GT2 RS please? Or is a config already available somewhere? Would love to see this car getting some updates, since I think it is the best GT2 RS available?

Messing around with the WSC 60 mod and I found the XJ13 mirror is flipped both ways, I look left it goes right, I look up it points down, and things passing on the right show on the left edge of the mirror, how can I fix that? I tried adding

[REAL_MIRROR_0]
FLIP=1

to the ext file but it hasn't done anything.

Documents > Assetto Corsa > cfg > extension > real_mirrors > CAR NAME (wsc_legends_jaguar_xj13)

FLIP=1 is left to right

FLIP=2 is up side down

FLIP=3 is both at the same time

But in my case the Jag's mirror was OK from the beginning.

This is the code I have:
[REAL_MIRROR_0]
ASPECT_MULT=1
FLIP=0
FOV=10
IS_MONITOR=0
MONITOR_SHADER_TYPE=0
ROTATION=0.07999999,-0.01

Thanks! Flip=1 is what worked for me there. I think the left/right being flipped messed with my head regarding the up down thing :lol:

That Lancia Beta... Cant wait!
This Lancia are models from the DRM mod (which I bought years ago), and I had to adapt the skins (as the models from the GTR2 evolution mod were not compatible).

Nice to see so much progress with your mod, thank you
Always remembering the cars that I partially converted/adapted, if it weren't for help (in texture improvements and something else, when possible), from our mate "MrHunt", the cars would be "lifeless", or "dull" , as you see fit...Whatever can be shared on the forum will be done, the rest, well, the rest.....

Is this the correct badge for the new RSS akuro_v6_evo2? Or should it be a Honda badge? I've seen images with it both ways and I wasn't sure if the ones with the Honda badge were older cars.

The badging differences are mainly divided along the lines, just for marketing purposes, on current cars:
Acura: GTWC America (SRO America), IMSA Weathertech
Honda: GTWC Europe/Asia, Super GT, DTM et al

@DaWallace I found another problem on the M3 GTR: it's raining in the cockpit.
Don't forget the stretched out banner texture lmao

For a revamped Forza Motorsport 4 model it sure has more bugs than the OG version...

Edit : I should clarify before the party police comes out, it ain't a **** model, but it doesn't feel very polished whereas the other M3 GTR does.

Thanks I did but it doesn't work. Copied both the files in the AC extension folder and the Data folders of each individual car. On the RD they talk about deleting and reloading the data.acd file but it doesn't work 😕
Oh yes, sorry.

Don't remeber, but, if cars don't have "data" folder, but "data.acd" file, you have to unzip file data with Content Manager, to have data folder and replace .ini file.

Disabling TyreFX helps, with TyreFX on I always get the same Pirelli tyres in the game.

I hope there is some other way, though.

EDIT: The problem is the file assettocorsa\extension\config\cars\common\gt3_tyres_kunos.ini, I disabled that by renaming it and now the custom tyre dds files work.

Or you can remove or disable this line from the car's ext_config.ini:
[INCLUDE: common/gt3_tyres_kunos.ini]

.. but that has to be done for every car using those tyres, renaming the file is easier..

The downside is that skins without tyre dds files do not show proper Pirelli tyres anymore, at least on AMG GT3.

HI,

yes yesterday, while fiddling around, I managed to solve the problem by activating developer mode to decompress the data.acd file and recompress it with the mod updates. Thank you :-)

He was just asking how to disable the standard tyres when doing previews. Re-naming the car´s extension folder does the trick, when using CSP previews. So don´t make it too complicated.
