Did have a quick go at the new Nismo Z Super GT car from URD
View attachment 1342340

Visually it seems fine, didn't have any issue with the mod crashing. They did have a 1.1 update as 1.0 included a bunch of data from their testing(more tires). There is already a skin pack with real logos on the RD now.
I didn't even realize they released this lol. I feel like URD used to be held up similarly to VRC and RSS but now I'm seeing that they're even falling behind some of the less known modders.

Not sure physics wise, but it looks significantly worse than TheNuvolari's version from Race Department

Guerrilla Mods official in Assetto Corsa 2

Yes, you read it correctly. Starting today, we can officially announce that Guerrilla Mods will officially deliver new mods for AC2 in the sense of DLC.

In our joint and successful conversation with Marco Massarutto, we were already able to agree on a first DLC pack, on which we have already started work. Unfortunately, we are not yet allowed to reveal what kind of DLC package it is, which cars or which series we are offering with it. The only thing we can tell you is that these cars will appeal to many and with the new physics they will offer an incredible driving experience. And what else we can reveal: the cars are not from today.

We are incredibly happy to be the first official mod team to create and offer DLC and can hardly wait to show you the first pictures.
All cars will have 3D models created by us, with the support of many car manufacturers. This is a completely new and huge project for us too and we promise not to disappoint you.

At this point a big thank you again to all supporters and fans of our mods.

It takes me hours and hours during covid but :
-i edited every car on content manager
-create custom grid for every same type of race car for each year (for f1 i also create realistic BOP grid with ballast)
-create custom grid for non race car based on the ratio HP/weight and the decade
-I also edited all tracks (mostly to know what tracks are compatible with codrier and traffic)

I "only" have 1000 cars because i cleaned all bad mod and i'm more focused on quality.
I immediately delete a mod if i'm not happy with it

edit: don't forget to keep "open wheeler" on F1 and cars with visible tyres from he cockpit, it's essential to use tyre.fx
lollll, i am doing the same rn

I've never put URD in the same bracket as VRC and RSS, especially in VR - their cockpit details have always let them down. They still don't embrace PBR shaders, their carbon fibre often looks downright weird, AO is weak (if there at all?) and everything just looks quite flat, dull and bland. Geometry seems to be a lot more basic too.

I was about to ask about the driver animation bit, but I think I'll ignore URD for good. And I agree, their quality is lacking way behind many of the free mods out there and here. Chivas Auto Art makes pretty good Super GT mods, just that they're of the older era.

Does anyone have a link for the most recent Lago Maggiore? Breathe's links and all links from Lebluem seem to be dead. Running this track this week in my league.

I have 1.4 as the most recent, downloaded from TMM in December before the site was pulled down. The UI says 1.4, but the download itself says 1.3. Just wanted to confirm this before going ahead - I'm not 100% sure what's going on there with the version history.

Cheers to anyone who can refresh the link.

But that will be the file you will have downloaded. The track has not been updated in a while, file does state 1.3 but is actually 1.4 so yeah you're correct. 100% is the latest version though.
All links are updated according @Fuzo list (from his Patreon)

Just a shame about their physics. From what I remember Chivas released one set of cars that had never been tested with a wheel (author drove with a controller). URD seem to have generally decent physics (albeit not consistently at VRC or RSS level), although the AVR GT500 still has the best driving feel of all the GT500s for my money.

Guys, thanks a lot everyone, great job!

Out of the blue Steam wants to install a 8.4 Gb update to AC. I stoped it but is there a way to erase those files already dowloaded? And remove the update from the Steam ui?

Edit: I located the dowloaded files, but how to remove the update from Steam? Thanks

Does anyone know how to fix the crash whenever i start a race? It worked fine on practice mode, but the game will straight up crash after loading in race mode.

Championship races still worked fine, but the game crashes after the opponent drives out of the pits.

Heres the log file so you can find out whats causing the crash. & im using CSP 0.2.3. Even downgrading to 0.2.2, it still crashes.

EDIT: I found out why the game crashes in normal races & Championship races. Its the Simpler AI Spline option on the New AI Behavior section in the CSP settings. Disabling it stops the crashes.

Just imagine the patch would destroy all modded content in AC …….. (nightmare)

Damn Steam installed AC in another disk. Now I have two AC. But when I start the game with Content Manager all is fine, Steam don't complain and I can keep playing from my old good install folder.
