Does anybody know what is causing these weird glitches?

Mitsubishi GT0-LM skin

To install: Choose 6k or 4k and drag that folder over to CM

I decided to do a fantasy skin for this car as there arent that many to choose from

There is no AO for the inside windows so they cannot be skinned, the AO for the outside is not great but useable.

Yet another car which cannot have an AO i seem to pick these everytime at the moment.

In extraFX, motion blur. I shut it down entirely lately, but if you wanna keep some, just bring down the "amount of blur" setting.

By the way, am i the only one thinking that ExtraFX is really less and less worth it? It has a 30% perf impact. I would def keep the SSLR reflections and the ambient occlusion clearly had huge improvments over the last updates, but i'm a bit worried it got out of hands in terms of optimisation lately.

Yeh thats possible............... got a link? i can only find the one i have and this one: https://simracing.blckbox.net/CarDetails.php?CarID=fiagt_mitsubishi_gto_lm

all your patreon links are down

edit yep i see what you mean i will pop a skin up for the updated version aswell. Would like a direct link to the car through patreon still as like i said all the links seem dead

i
found a working link to this car on your patreon and its literally undriveable, veers BADLY to the right and flips over way to easy it is severly broken. So i will post a link up to the other version by gts with physics that work. They are the same model just different physics

RSS :

Firstly, all the cars listed below will be released inside a pack to reduce costs, or individually, depending on your preference. Here's what is coming very, very soon (not yet released):

🏎️ Formula RSS 2 2024 V6With help from Gabriel Bortoleto (F1, F2 driver) and Luke Browning (F2 driver), both talented, exceptional and generous with their time and feedback, in addition to our fantastic testers, step into the latest car in the second-highest category of single-seater racing with cars that are thrilling, challenging, and rewarding to master. Known for their exciting yet unforgiving rear-end dynamics, this machine will push your skills to the limit. Both drivers above also feature, including their face on the driver, as a bonus.

🏎️🏎️ Formula Hybrid® 2024 As we intended to skip 2024, we still wanted to provide you with a free update to existing owners of FH23 to enjoy cars of this year. A free enhancement and subsequent rebrand to the already outstanding Formula Hybrid® 2023 we mentioned before! This update brings 2024-standard physics and a much welcomed sound update, a new digital display, various tweaks, and several iconic historic RSS FH liveries seen in the video. It isnt the main attraction of the video, it’s a lure to the second half of the video, yet we still worked very hard on a free update for you; we could’ve just skipped it entirely - no update.

🏎️🏎️🏎️ Formula Hybrid® X 2026 This is a snapshot of the future of Formula racing with this advanced model designed to meet 2026 regulations, welcome the return of our X range of prototype concepts. Featuring an incredibly detailed 3D model, more-so than anything we have ever done before, yet done with thought without waste, new sounds, physics, and active aerodynamics on both wings, it’s fast, more direct, and great fun.

🏎️🏎️🏎️🏎️ Formula Hybrid® V12-R Probably the most exciting of the modern top-tier cars. A modern take on Formula racing nostalgia. Based on the X 2026 model with a few differences, this beast is powered by a raw, 900-horsepower V12 engine and ditches hybrid systems for the iconic KERS of the past while maintaining active aerodynamics. With its distinct visuals and ferocious performance, it offers a completely unique driving experience while staying under the Formula Hybrid® brand.Stay tuned for updates on our website and social channels. I find that HBAO+ is really the only ExtraFX worth enabling - as well as the higher-quality motion blur, which is a marmite option for many.

Everything else is a waste - especially SSLR, which in my opinion can be about a 20% GPU penalty for identical-looking, if not worse-looking results.

I hope their Formula Hybrid 2024 is good because I do not like the updated VRC Formula 2024. The previous version was much better.

But I think you need SSLR to have reflections on the car / tarmac when in wet weather driving.

More progress on Pacific. Kerbs removed that don't exist on the real life track anymore and a couple added in their proper location. Large humps that two kerbs sat on removed and kerb style changed to better reflect the real life track. Sand area changed to gravel to better reflect the real life track. Start\Finish line moved to the proper location.

More and more frequently new mods come out with big mapping problems evident on carbon surfaces, do they bother you? I can't stand them, do you know how to do it and which program to use to redo the mapping easily?

What car is this? it's quite a bit of work to redo the UV's. You can use the free 3d modeling program, Blender, to correct the UV's if the kn5 can be unpacked. There are some helpful tutorials on Youtube for Blender and AC mods.

OK i am still on 1.79 but my experience with ExtraFX is - ExtraFX IS the thing which make my AC looking ..... extra :) It´s mandatory for me. But important to tweak some things.

SSLR - is a fps killer on my Rtx3080 (about 10-15 less fps)
The second importand thing is - if using Real mirrors, reduce waaay the mirrors refrash rate. While racing you barely notice the difference, but your PC is gona thank you.

ambient occlusion is the most important thing for me. Not really necessary in every cockpit, but there are some where the dashboard just looks flat and with occlusion it gets a 3D effect through the shading, which is really immense. But it's an absolute FPS killer in Triple.
