My version of Pacific Raceways is basically ready for release, but I have a bit of a moral dilemma. When I was asked about 7 months ago if I could update the track, I got the copy I began working from off of @Breathe track list thinking it was a free track. I have recently come to learn that the copy I started with was an update to the paid mod track from Sim Traxx. So in theory, I have been modding a paid track mod which means technically I can not release it. Now mind you, pretty much everything has been changed from the Sim Traxx version which by all accounts was kind of unfinished, but it's still not right to use any part of a paid mod without their permission. And I doubt they would give me permission since they are trying to sell their version.

So for anyone who may have been interested in my updated version, you will have to be patient while I work through what to do. Eventually I will probably say F--- It and release the track because I would hate to leave this one unreleased. I think it turned out really well thanks to a lot of help from some of the better track makers we have. But it still wouldn't feel right to do so.

Sim traxx can suck an egg for all I care, they are the scummiest track modders.

Release it dude, it'd be a massive improvement over their never finished stuff anyways.
 
I have "pre 1985" leaderboard coming and that's about it. I can't do 1994-2010 because they would require some basic coding which I'm not capable of doing.

I wish I could find someone who could team up with me and can code Python. I could do all kinds of stuff but my coding skills are very limited. I can modify the code but not create it.

I'm just a professional Photoshop guy, not a coder.

The 1994-2010 leaderboards... if I just knew how to move the top 8 to the bottom center of the screen and make an alternate display there. For someone who can code it's probably a 10 minute job. I could easily create all the graphics to make it look 100% authentic.

Is there anyone willing to help?

I need the leaderboard top 8 going there at the bottom of the screen so that it'd show the first 8 first and after a while it would show the positions 9-16 and the third one would show the rest.

All code is in two relatively small .py files. Sure I can move the display myself but the problem is creating the alternating row.If I just got this I could create about 6 other leaderboards with ease for all these years between 1994-2010.

but that doesnt shows me then the driver with my suit, i now simply use the movable driver in cm showroom

and also is here some maybe able helping me creating chrome skins for f302´s clk dtm? i tried so many things and but still unlucky and chaotic to follow everything what i need to do for that

eg putting it in number 4 skin (which seems to be best candidate ) that will get you from this :

edit: is there a fix for this config because when i turn on the lights they work but the exterior light doesnt show it, see my pic

This time the damn stains appeared in the recently released Goodhoop, a track with which carTOON once again demonstrates that without much ba-da-bing you can get a mod with very, very good results. Thanks again @carTOON.

I don't know if the target would be met, but your inner child was absolutely met with your grown up ego, and that's obvious by your sense of humor. I'd also like to see you posting your cats golden balls, just to show us a little more of who you are.

Also remember how our conversation started. You said that my tactic is arrogant because I'm teasing something that isn't AAA quality, and I accepted it. Then you said that my target of 30 likes is a low standard, which I also accept.

So what 's the conclusion in your mind? Am I arrogant, or someone with low standards? Just answer this in your head.

Google the series and the year and you'll find the wiki page will give you the schedules. RSS GT is FIA GT from about 2003 to 2005 and the DRM ran in 1979 and years around that.

Thanks (again) for bringing those tracks in asseto corsa. I never played on SIMRACEWAY so i don't know how it looked back then but your rendition in Assetto Corsa is great!

Simraceway was a pay-to-play sim based on rFactor1. They used several mods directly from rFactor without the authors permissions (including my Mustang GT ). Several fantasy tracks were made by Madcowie and others (with permissions/payment).

Of those, I have converted the following:
Giza, Longstone Pass, Madeenat Al Bahar, Paradise Bay and Troyton Raceway
Pudsey and Shinjuku Parking were two other fantasy tracks for the game

how bout this ? (obsolete - see link below w working brakelights) (I made a separate skin this time all chrome, no liveries .. but I did have to change the kn5 in order to change the material on the lights - backup is included if you wanna go back to original)

I'm sure someone more clever then me can extend on this and put liveries on top of this chrome ... but I fear that's beyond my capabilities for now.

EDIT : yippee, I'm off to Giza for some pyramid gazing in VR! ;)

EDIT2 : saw that the brakelights were not visible ! HERE a version where that is fixed (and third brakelight also working)

@jac0 sorry, since i have to clear some other stuff rn aswell and didnt right ur message proberly. are u continuing trying to fix the problem/putting the skins on top of the chrome?
anyways my project is live and if a fix will be out there, i will also update it. and thanks for the help so far^^
