Holy Moly! Compared to the Tommy78 paid one, this is by far the better choice. Good convert done, grats! Looking forward to the BMW 320 and the Audi A4!
P.S. Is there a possibility to do some more treatment on the headlights (refracting ones) in general?

I partly agree, but I also have some mixed feelings about comparing converted/ripped mods to legit, scratch made paymods like this. Of course the model is better, because it's made by a large, professional studio (KW Studios).

And the F302 physics are not correct. It has a double wishbone suspension in the rear, when it should have a 4-link axle. Tommy got the suspension right. So they both have their strengths and weaknesses.

Not judging anyone, in any way, I really enjoy the car, but it's an unfair comparison.

Hey guys, I made a proper video that demonstrates how amazing Assetto Corsa classic Formula-1 can be.

1. You have top notch cars (ASR 1992)
2. You have top notch tracks (Shin's and others' insanely good 1992 track pack)
3. Delicately set up championship settings
4. Personally, I like 20 lap races so that the race is about 30 minutes, plus 15 minutes qualifying and 1 mandatory pitstop for all cars. I don't think it feels like a real race without mandatory pitting.
5. Added sparks

Result: Insanely accurate season, with Mansell totally dominating in his completely SUPERIOR active suspension Williams FW14B (AI 100). When player is fighting back with Senna (McLaren) MP4/6B-MP4/7A you gotta be quite damn good sim racer if you want to beat him.

AI is as flawless as it can be on AC due to superior tracks and cars. No crawling cars, no traffic jams, no insane aggression (when all has been set up properly). You will have the best classic F1 experience you can get.

As much as I love AMS2 and what they're doing and rF2 they don't come even CLOSE. Watch the video and see how amazing AC can be. (My new 1992-1993 Leaderboard mod). Enjoy.

Put subtitles on. They will describe what driver and track it is. All 16 tracks.

I have broken Assetto...
Reinstalled everything.Still same error.It will launch if I enable fullscreen but it calls it safe mode.Looks horrible,HDR is borked.Launch from vanilla is possible but I didnt check gameplay.
Any experience with this error?

New graphics drivers no help.Vanilla Assetto eventually has the same error so its not just CM or csp.
Disabled all addons/mods.Reinstalled Pure.Reinstalled Microsoft C++ red.
There is one mention of the issue with Linux users and there was no fix found.

sigh...when I break something,it stays broke.

EDIT FIXED

So...after much cursing...it threw a different error...failed to create ui imgui.I was able to look that up and there was a fix for that.
Somehow the game had set itself to custom resolution instead of default or whatever was set in Windows/Nvidia cpl.
Matched them up and ya! Fixed!...after of course I had reset every single thing in CM,Assetto and CSP to default.Took an hour to set everything back. Make presets !!!

I know, and I agree. The encrypted textures can pretty easily be extracted and replaced, though.

Yes. Another old fart here. We also need drivers like this. Not drivers who look like boy band members.

The app doesnt override your button setting, only add a function to it. So if A is already used by by CSP to do something else and you tell the app do this with it, the app AND CSP will do what you ask them to do. (If it make sense 🤔 )

I think it was installed with one of the latest paid mods, I don't remember which one, but I've never used it; it's set by default; I only have the A to F keys on my computer keyboard set to Extra A, Extra B, etc... (My God, how complicated all this becomes...)

Maastricht 2018 - v1.0...

While loading appears the message: "WARNING! Track is misconfigured. Node "AC_REVERB_TUNNEL 14" from "[REVERB_13]" used for track audio is missing.", although it ends up loading and working.

By the way, this track is awsome... 😙





EDIT: to report that after a thorough investigation I have discovered (without help, which given my level of programming knowledge is an achievement) that in the file "ext_config.ini" of the folder "extension" you can find this code...

...and by changing the letter "B" highlighted in red for any other letter of those assigned as "Extras" (I have changed it for "C", since "Extra A" is assigned to activate the ignition), the hood opening function will be transferred to that new letter, so "Extra B" will only start the engine.

(Right now I feel like I was Linus Torvalds).
