This Corvette C4 ZR-1 West is quite nicely modeled but the bloody boxed-in head restraints are a nightmare in VR. I don't want to change my clipping planes just for one car, so anyone know how to get rid of the buggers?

Legion has a "fixed" version...

Yeah, thanks, got it. The RTM one has a slightly different model. Not sure the source is exactly the same.
No idea why this mod ever became mythical. Probably only due to the ridiculous price.

Well...you gotta give them the credit for making it so "desirable" :) I think it´s called marketing...the noble art of making people want what they don´t need :)

Can someone please post for download the driver file for the Lambo Huracan ST EVO 1.2 version (and where does it go)?

On the side: A request for those who are talented in car creation for AC: Would you consider making the Rondeau (M379 or M380, I think it was) of circa 1979-1980 (with some actual skins) that ran at LeMans with that beautiful round front windshield?
Thanks.
goes in the drivers folder lol

Driven the SSC Tuatara its quite uncontrollable at downshifting it literally wants to spin at every corner had to keep it at higher gears looks like rtm screwed up the Aero of the car.

@slider666 unfortunately this hasn´t brought any effect. 3D grass still is there and looks like crap.

You see, I nearly got rid of all the fake adverts and carefully placed some Indonesian brands around. The walls around are now just plain blue, too.

The problem is that these (now) grey billboards simply don´t exist in real life, so instead of having them around the track we should remove them, too. Could you please check the objects name once again? You may do this for all the boards you find which look like these (don´t know if they have several names).

Hope this helps.
Removed 3d grass and those grey billboards:

And made a first light config too, not perfect but as ACFAN is working on a new track conversion, this should work until his version is released:

Well where to start on this beauty what started off with one man and a dream to drive a classic he has not drivern since gran turismo 2 has turned into a

The car has been made from ground up with base provided by forza alot of details have been missed there and have been made specifically for this release.
I would like to thank personally thank everyone that helped from start to finish with some been modelers and some been R33 drivers/owners as a team we have made this man dream come true.

Saying the true, this model is much far from real one car, in fact it weight 1300+ kg and has around 300 hp. RTM has much realistic version

Slider nice fix on that track, lights too.

To you or anyone, something strange that has popped up. I was going to change (for myself) the color of the lighting which I do sometimes, to more of a whiteish than orangish.

So I started playing with each set of #'s to determine what changed (alt-tab then change, then ctrl-s to save) "COLOR = 255, 140, 40, 0.075" in Lights =0 (track)
But each one I changed (255 to 100 or 140 to 40 etc.etc) lighting wasnt changing. So to test if changes were really doing anything, deleted the whole color string and saved. No change.

So then I thought heck, lets delete the entire lights = 0 configs, just take them all out.
Alt-tabbed back in after saving, and the lighting is still there :crazy:

What has suddenly stopped from me being able to edit .ini's?!
Deleted all:
[LIGHT_SERIES_0]
ACTIVE = 1
DESCRIPTION = track lights
MESHES = obj_?_SUB0
OFFSET = 0,0,0
DIRECTION = 0,-1,0
SPOT = 180
SPOT_SHARPNESS = 0.1
RANGE = 50
RANGE_GRADIENT_OFFSET = 0.1
DIFFUSE_CONCENTRATION = 0.7
FADE_AT = 1200
FADE_SMOOTH = 20
CLUSTER_THRESHOLD = 10
COLOR = 255, 140, 40, 0.075
COLOR_OFF = 0
CONDITION = NIGHT_SMOOTH

And its still lit?

Hello friends, I would like to suggest some tracks and cars for modders: I would like to learn how to customize the tracks already made and at least convert cars from other games, but the most I could change the skins and make clones of the cars. existing ones, ie create a new folder with the name of the car I chose. Suggested cars would be many, especially those from Le Mans, but here are a few: Ferrari 365P and P2, Mirage winner of Le Mans 1975, Alfa T33T3 from 1975/1976, Matra (versions that won at Le Mans). The tracks for those who can edit from the existing ones would be the Monte Carlo versions: 1973-1975 (with the inclusion of the pool "s" and the new gasometer curve. The 1976-1985 version (with the inclusion of the Saint-Devote and Antonhy Nogues), and an improved version of the Carrera4 version (1986-1997 before the modifications of the above-mentioned chicanes, pool and gasometer s), and other versions of Monza (1972-1975 , with the chicane to the left after the start), and the 1988 Carrera4 version if possible redoing the Della Roggia variant, which could be placed a little earlier, as we can see in several videos. I would like to contribute in some way, A hug to all the Modders .. your work is too much for the continuation of the games that pass with time, in this case Assetto Corsa.

Not sure if you are interesting in learning yourself or hoping someone else will be interested in doing it for you but https://assettocorsamods.net/ has lots of great information on modding cars and tracks. You Tube, Race Department and just googling will find a lot of good information as well.

Look at the driver3d.ini of the data folder. There you can add lines like this:
[HIDE_OBJECT_0]
NAME=DRIVER:HELMET

[HIDE_OBJECT_1]
NAME=DRIVER:GEO_Driver_FACE

Strange track indeed, I had probs with it too. :(
Do you have a second sentul_circuit.ini? Either config\tracks or config\tracks\loaded, don´t put it in both folders.
I had sometimes also probs with BLM Lights or SOL Weather App, don´t know exactly which one. But remarked lines are sometimes deleted or even all changes made there after starting track. :(

You can test this for more whiteish lights:
Code:
[LIGHT_SERIES_0]
ACTIVE = 1
DESCRIPTION = track lights
MESHES = obj_?_SUB0
OFFSET = 0,0,0
DIRECTION = 0,-1,0
SPOT = 180
SPOT_SHARPNESS = 0.5
RANGE = 80
RANGE_GRADIENT_OFFSET = 0.1
DIFFUSE_CONCENTRATION = 0.7
FADE_AT = 1200
FADE_SMOOTH = 20
CLUSTER_THRESHOLD = 15
COLOR = 255, 200, 200, 0.075
COLOR_OFF = 0
CONDITION = NIGHT_SMOOTH

Made it also a bit brighter with more light range:

It's the headrest, not the driver's face that's the problem. It blocks your view left and right.

This is the billboard update. What do you think? Any improvements?

Maybe it would look better to have one Yokohama sign in stead of two on each panel ? Just a thought...

@Masscot no idea for VR but can't you move forward a bit ? If the wings of the headrest are too much obstructing my side view, I move a little forward until I see only a small part of them.

Yapp, put this in existing acf_tokyo246.ini:

[MODEL_REPLACEMENT_1]
ACTIVE = 1
DESCRIPTION = hide some objects like huge billboards
FILE = acf_tokyo246_light.kn5
HIDE = PLAKAT?

Just curious (still can't try for another week) how does it look without these hideous things ? Any better ?
