I will soon... It is the best model of the car for AC that's for sure. I have been in the process of updating it though. There were many issues with it like broken collider, aero improperly configured, inertia completely wrong, copied suspension geometry and so on. There is plenty of specification data for the car as well for JDM parts used in the S1 version so I am in the process of implementing it. Here is some of the original credits for the car:

The upper edge of the windscreen frame and the wipers are constantly reflecting the road, which gets pretty disturbing after a while.
Is there a way to disable or minimize this ?
There are some other mods that have the same issue, but since this one is my favo cruising toy... :sly:

I forked the material, turned it into matte grey. Also effects wipers and door handles as they are the same object. Try in game to see if you like it.

Here's a quick and dirty adjustment... A shame that the window frame is linked with other objects in the chrome materials. If it were an independent part then you could make adjustments to just that window frame and nothing else, can't even fork the texture without affecting other parts. To do it correctly it would involve some 3D editing.

Much better options than putting duct tape on your monitor. Don’t know what that buttplug was thinking. :sly:;)
 
...seems to be an issue with the extra layouts for Monza. In the testing version there seems to be an issue with the elevations of track shadows and skid marks...
The normal layout has no issues...But the extra layout test version has this issue where the marks on the track are raised above the surface...hoping it can get fixed.

Seems the groove/skids had been incorrectly set to transparent. Fixed that and added two quick 'n' dirty reversed layouts.
 
Come on man. The gaffers tape goes on the chrome window trim, no more reflection, issue solved. :banghead:

Portkal - theres a massive difference in gaffers tape and duct tape ;)

Yeah gaffers tape does not rip off paint like duct tape when you leave it for longer periods.
I tried duct, but I need to remove it when using other cars, so in the end I used @Apexxer / @portakal method...:D:lol:
 
about the config update in CM: not 100% sure, but i think for all configs to be upto-current-date, there has to be run/changed something on github (or in CM data, idk), which i dont know of, only x4fab knows, and he is not very active atm

is from around june/july (i.e. spa config was changed in meantime, to fix the merging/glowing light-pole on laSource)

note: i disabled auto-download, as soon as this function was present, as it downloaded all without comments and often mangling the files to a corrupt state

to summon up: if auto-download gives you mixed results, you should get newest configs by downloading the repo from github https://github.com/ac-custom-shaders-patch/acc-extension-config and extract it to "assettocorsa\extension\"

What do you mean by 'download the repo'?
Can ALL the track configs be downloaded in one go or must they be done individually?

But I think leBluem meant it different. If you have probs with one specific track downloading the whole repo isn´t really necessary.
Visiting https://github.com/ac-custom-shaders-patch/acc-extension-config/tree/master/config/tracks
you find all the available config tracks ini´s and kn5´s. By opening one ini you get something like this:

There you find the "Raw" button, click and you get the ini you/CSP need, right click and "save as ..." into ..\extension\config\tracks. :)
As the kn5 files are binaries and big files, you get immediately the download button shown, after clicking on them.

The other way is to clone the repo with git and later make a git pull. Afterwards the newest changes are pulled and you can copy these ones into the right places as for cars, tracks and vao-patches but also conditions, etc.
The repo let you even went back in time and restore an older version, if newest one is messed up.
That´s how I do it most of the times. :)
Ok, that´s not the common way to do that for the most ones. ;)
 
yes thats what i meant, dl all at once, including vao-patches, textures, car+track configs ; if one config is not working its likely that other configs are bad too...

This track originally made by Nui for rFactor. It later been converted to Assetto Corsa by thestrobe8.
This is my most play track since rFactor days. Decided to do a quick make over on it. What I did: Changed road & terrain textures. Changed the trees. Rebuilt the road physics and safer. Recreated the replay camera.
