guys i added a parachute to legions ford GT land record car, the one that does 300mph in the standing mile. and it acually works how a real chute would work. i looked up the drag coefficient of a parachute used to stop cars or shuttles is 1.75 so i made a DRS button that will take the rear wing up to 90 degrees vertical and added 1.75 coefficient at 90 degrees. (an angle youll never hit without that button) so it never messes with the car physics. now at 300mph when when you yank the chute it pulls like 2.8 G of stopping force and dwindles off the slower you go. one time the rear end was getting loose so i pulled the chute and it straightened the car out just like you see in real life when it just anchors the rear end. i might make my own dragster now just to play with the parachute mechanics more lol
