The car did apparently produce 720bhp from the V12 engine but yeah when it came to it being driven they turned the wick down a lot because they were worried about it shaking the cockpit to pieces (or something like that) So it only produced around 400bhp. I'm sure someone tested it with the full fat 720bhp but my comment was meant as a bit of a joke to be fair.

I can't find an actual top speed run for the car anywhere, was it even done at all? One site states top speed of only 235mph (only yeah right lol) https://www.ultimatespecs.com/car-specs/Ford/23131/Ford-GT90-V12.html and that is right inline with navi's edit. The engine power seems to be an actual fact and the top speed just a optimistic estimate by Ford. I'm still looking but it looks like the car was never tested to its limits. If anyone knows otherwise, please let me know! I'm very curious now! :odd:

According to every website I look at that top speed was only ever a claimed top speed. I've just found this https://www.caradvice.com.au/762446/design-review-ford-gt90-concept-1995/ where it says "Performance was equally impressive, with 0-97km/h acceleration in 3.1 seconds and an estimated top speed of 378 km/h (although those numbers were never confirmed)." So yeah it doesn't look like it was ever tested beyond being driven by a handful of people with 'only' 400bhp.

Apparently it now lives at Hajek Motorsports Museum in Ames, Oklahoma

looks like i have over exaggerated it lol. Again i'm still learning the power curves so my stuff might be incorrect. My bad. Managed to fix the weight though. Car tuner detected it having 235 tons lmao.

is there a template for it?

Two questions for y'all....

1. After a complete re-install of AC, having removed all the AC stuff in the Documents folder, all my PBs from the Profile section are gone. I found a personalbests.ini file from the old install and put it in the new install, but the entries from the Profile section are still missing. What am I doing wrong?

2. I can't find the Realism settings in CM's chaotic menus; stuff like 'Automatic Throttle Blip' and 'Tyre Blankets.' Can somebody please tell me where to look?

TIA.

Hey guys ive had a bit of a hiccup so that 2020 Aston AMR is going to be delayed a bit. my Thrustmaster TS-PC racer broke Wednesday night suddenly, so i had no wheel. so i made a few moves and manged to find a brand new fanatec clubsport 2.5 wheel and i just got that wheel today installed
(funny story how i got it in 2 days brand new, it was a 1/millions chance) but now with the better wheel, my feeling for the cars is dramatically changed and now i dont have the same sense for good and bad forcefeedback like i did before. so i need to get used to this wheel before i can trust the changes i make to a cars steering feel are good changes. steering feel is almost the most important part of a car mod aside from handling. so it MUST be good/correct. thats the fastest way for me to delete a car, is when it has funky steering/ffb

I tried the Ford Anglia and Alpine A110 we talked about yesterday.
Alpine is expected it was pleasant. The DR model looks nice. I think she lacks some external "polishing." For example, in the cabin, the visor end has a separate smoothing group, which makes the ribs visible. Rear wheels in upper part of suspension stroke puncture body through. Some body parts flicker. If fix these little things, it 'll be the perfect mod.
The physics is just tremendous!

And with the Ford Anglia it turned out some "magic" - I didn 't see it in the sim. Several times checked whether I did everything correctly, in which brand he is supposed to be (ford), but never understood why he does not appear... Installed as usual - placed a folder with a car in cars. Any thoughts?

This is often the case when Fanatec is not felt by those who are used to other rudders. I know cases where a person had to sell Fanatec, and look for another steering wheel, because he was never able to get the former subtle feeling of a car. This is due to soft feedback using belts I think.

Thats odd with the Ford anglia. It should be under ford?

edit, just thought, maybe you need the original.

2nd one down.

Maybe thank you, I 'll try putting the original in today. I didn 't think it was a version of S1...

That looks like my idea of sim racing hell. I hate hairpins with a passion.

yes both are valid, as the cockpit swivel to one position or the other.

Ah yes, I'd forgotten about this feature. I wonder if the rotating instrument panel could be simulated in AC?
It's a shame this iconic car has been treated so badly by its various converters. I've got four versions of it and they are all a little half-assed or incomplete.

I hate chicanes more than hairpins. They're like two (or more) hairpins locked in a clumsy embrace...and totally unnecessary! If I wanted to slow down, I'd go to the mall and creep over the speed bumps.

Hey guys, after a VERY long-ass time of many months since I converted it last summer, I'm finally proud to release the Nissan Skyline R30 Super Silhouette after a vietnamese modder called Thuakien Lu helped improving the model from some ****** textures it had before plus making sounds, physics and lights, now it properly looks gorgeous af! ^ ^

Feel free to improve it if you find something bad\wrong about it, we made our absolute best to make it look this good, cannot wait to drive this bad boy out!

(And I might plan on converting the Subaru 360 next once I learn how to properly convert Forza models using 3DSimEd like an indonesian modder called Dominicus Kenneth uses to convert SimBin ones...lol)
