I also have quick question for GTP mod team.
I test the GTP mod team cars (from ACC) against ACC.

I find that all AC versions of the ACC cars are more understeer.

I then test AC URD 911 2018 vs ACC and this car seem to handle more like ACC (more realisitic?)

Does mod team know why AC version of ACC cars are way more understeer, less grip, when comparison to ACC.
Will maybe make cars handle more like URD 911 2018 in future patch or setup as this car handle more like ACC, which some say he is will be more realistic.

Sorry for bad English, i hope this make sense :)

If no good, let me know i use Google translate, im trying to improve english to try to avoid copy paste/translate :)
Well for starters the URD 911 is a GTE car, different regs to GT3. Also AC and ACC use different physics models iirc and different data on top of a different game engine.

What is most recent and best version of oulton park, my version has very white tarmac issue? Can anyone help with best version of oulton?

Not sure if the same but i had an issue with Oulton recently and it was down to me using 'extra reflections on road' CM.
I think also 'track adaptions'.

I was asked some days ago if I could share my old Vivid skin for Autopolis Oita, the skin I posted here last april to give Autopolis a less bleached, washed out look.
It was one of my first tries tweaking a track and overlooking it now, while my skills got a bit better, it was mandatory to actualize it. :)
Doing that I made a mix from old more saturated skin with a config.ini which gives new Grass FX feature and tweaked the old skin a bit.
Doing that, I got aware that the other two skins I had from @gladbecker82 (AlexBfromG on RD) and @Masscot are no longer available on RD. So I asked them if I could share them with mine here too. Both agreed and I made now a package with all three skins, a vao-patch and the config file in track folder, so this can be installed with CM if wanted.
Thanks @gladbecker82 and @Masscot a lot for the billboard skins! :cheers: 👍

Track Vivid 3 skin can be combined with either one of the billboard skins, as I gave them both a higher priority then mine. Obviously both billboard skins at the same time don´t work as they would overwrite each other. ;)

All the ones who have the old config version in ..\assettocorsa\extension\config\tracks\autopolis_oita.ini can rename/delete old one.

Hope you enjoy, if anyone have ideas to improvements or any other feedback is welcomed. :) :cheers:

Where to download the track? I have one but i'm not sure is the same as yours. Can you provide a link? Thanks :)

Not sure where this one came from but its a great little car. I have one IRL.

This suffers from a few graphical issues, but primarily it has a failed front end when the AI use it.

Anyone mind having a look and see whats going on with it?

RD updated their site and it looks crap now. I remember you guys talking about a way to increase the width of the most important bit...the middle bit where you type and read stuff lol, anyone care to enlighten me on how to do so.
I think it was when this site updated here :confused:

I think I was not too clear sorry.
I test AC version of NSX etc made by GTPlanrt Mod Team against exact car they took from ACC on kunos track.

The AC mod version he was less grippy, more slippy when comparison to his ACC brother.

But I test URD 911 in AC and it handle like most cars from ACC. Planted, heavy, grippy not slippy.

So does GTP mod team investigate or update why GTP Mod versions of ACC cars are less grip etc and make them more like URD 911 2018 as this car feel exactly like ACC cars.

Hope i make more sense now.

I use track reflection in CSP I will try disable. Thank for advice on fix.

This is the Oulton from AC trackreboot with four layouts. Slider, you said it has holes in the track? Kinda rare for ac boot tracks, but never drove it.
So as long as the holes arent in the middle of the track :lol: heres Oulton from boot.

Was this not update to v1.4 by butplug?
I have v1.4 version of this track, updated by butplug (corncob) so higher is newest version or 1.3.2 newest and 1.4 older?

Well it completely changed for me this afternoon but yeah yours does look like what it looks like now so not sure why mine hadn't updated yet... I'll look into that Stylus script thing - thanks :cheers:

Found your and Slider's posts about Stylus so I've had a mess about and it's not much better lol. Just gonna live with it as it is for now

Its changed for me also today

This is a completely useless post but I just bought five products from Race Sim Studio's online store during the current sale and it pains me to no end that they don't have a cart feature.

AAAHHHHHGHGHGHHG...

I have purchased about 80% of their cars over the years and they are good quality IMO, however, I am a bit frustrated because there were some updates over the years to some cars but the notifications and free re-downloads process was a bit confusing. I still am not certain I have installed the most recent updates that I am eligible for and their website does not list the version (1.0, 2.0, 3.0, etc.) of the car that is currently available in order for me to even determine if I have the latest. :confused:

EDIT:embarrassed:K, well after a bit of file hunting, because some cars are missing their version tags (resulting in notbeing shown in CM) here's the RSS cars and versions I have. If anyone is aware of later versions I would be FOREVER greatful, cheers! :bowdown:

Even worse on mobile.

Really? Because they clearly aren't thinking about desktop browsers in a sensible way at all! :banghead:

For the last version I'd been putting together a GreaseMonkey script that gave it a bit more of a 'grown-up' look for desktop browsers - removed the sidebar on the right, shrink fonts and respace elements etc. It was getting to be fairly acceptable. But now they've pissed around with it again and my script mostly doesn't work any more :(

Some bits still work though, so here it is if anyone wants to play with it...

Code:
// ==UserScript==
// @name        racedept

    style.innerHTML = css;
    head.appendChild(style);
}

// hide the news sidebar

The STEER_LOCK value needs tuning down. If the data folder isn’t available, unpack it with CM and then edit the car.ini file. Lower the value in STEER_LOCK. Experiment with lower numbers until the problem is fixed. There is other values in there to change the ratio etc so the steering wheel matches your hands so a bit of trial and error is needed. But just lowering the lock will fix your problem, on that car anyway.

Also don’t forget to rename data.acd if it exists otherwise your changes will not work unless you’ve specifically told CM to use data folder first, data.acd > data.acd.bk will do.
Many thanks for your answer. I'll try and update later

Where did you download the car from? Without looking at the data I can only assume the following values need to be adjusted, I have never seen steer lock being the cause to this but that of a poorly configured LSRR causing SR to be exceeded in game.

STEER_RATIO=
LINEAR_STEER_ROD_RATIO=
Many thanks for your reply, I forgot where I downloaded it. Iwill try lowering the steer ratio.
I will upload the car asap in case anyone interested checking the data. It seems the 3D model of this 635 Csi is better than the one at assettodrive

I know of one hole right at the edge of the circuit itself just before the extended section joins back up to the Short (Fosters) layout on the left side. The league I run was going to be racing there a few weeks ago until we found said hole and we changed to the Fosters version for the race.

Does anybody know if there is some way to test for holes other than just driving until someone finds them?

Has anyone ever ended up with random skins all over the place? In different cars skins folders?

Maybe after a run of the CM compression tool? Easy fix?

Yep on so many cars! Compression tool didnt work for me - ongoing problem maybe delete and re install affected cars?

... But I test URD 911 in AC and it handle like most cars from ACC. Planted, heavy, grippy not slippy...

This 911 RSR 2018 is very wide, more than the 911 GT3 R so no need to increase a lot the polar inertia. She have exactly the same physic than the kunos one, the wet tires in addition. The front wing is very forward, the real center of front downforce is not as far forward. Try it on nordschleife this track reveals many defaults (when my cars handle well on nordschleife I'm happy).

Could you please add, exactly what you are saying in your native tongue? As read, your post has three ambiguities and two incorrect words.

ATTN Forum Admins: Surely an ESL member can post in both languages so us native speakers can sort out potential ambiguities. Some members have no English at all and post using translation tools, and how reliable are those?
