Python implementation in AC from Kunos is really poor, some stuff they implemented never even ever worked (like checklists, I had to build mine with workarounds for BLM Lights)
You don't even have basic stuff like on_mouse_down, so doing what you ask would take a lot of time for something you really hardly use. In the end you fix mirrors once, it takes a few seconds and you're good with that car forever.

No worries, I kinda thought it would be a bit of a stretch to achieve. To be fair I can't quite figure out which way to go with the mirror in that Renault so I think it'll stay as it is for now lol.

Nope. But I think I heard something a little while ago that an upcoming update to CM will have the ability to use the showroom for encrypted cars. I seem recall talk about that maybe ~50 or so pages back

Speaking about making things easy, don't forget to consider this little program, n2copy:



You drag whatever you want copied (say, a skin.ini file) into the GREEN side.
You drag the folders you want the files to be copied to (say, all 32 skins of a car) into the BLUE side.
You press copy: that's it.

VERY useful for assetto.

Well I don't use RHM atm so I basically start a completely unrelated app this way for tracking my lap times online. I'm sure it would also work for crew chief? Worth a shot if you don't use RHM. On top of that you could always make a script or batch file to start RHM and Crew Chief, that would probably work too.

This should be the law, punishable by death. So many modders don't bother adding or updating version numbers, yet it takes seconds. It's the epitome of laziness and drives me mad.

It it possible modders intentionally do this for economic reasons, to garner more downloads? I have mistakenly downloaded the same mod a year later because it wasn't clear what version it was.

Evo. even though there is almost zero difference on the outside compared to the normal car,
most differences are under the hood.

Dont really see why RSS does this over other cars in that class, but thats up to them i guess and Broadbent and Haye will promote it anyway.

Yup to your nope a couple of cars months ago were decrypted, wish I could remember which ones. It was just a matter of dropping in a new kn5.
I wouldn't hold your breath on CM updates, theres a few handfuls of errors that are a year old or more I believe, so adding features doesn't seem eminent And with the strides Ilja is making with the shader, CM just doesn't seem like a priority, its good enough imo.

One simple error comes to mind. Go to settings/AC/video, look at what file type screenshots are taken. Leave and come back to AC/video, and if it was set to .png, its now switched .jpg for your pleasure (you have to select .png and dont open video back up if you want .png screenies).

Yeah, I did. I just can't figure the relation between gear ratio + final ratio + power.

Calling all modders When I start in pit with a car and it says invalid setup and cant start to drive. I know I need to adjust the suspension height so the error message goes away. But I also know that it can be fixed permanently be fiddling with one of the .ini files. Now I don't remember wich one and wich line. Could anyone help me out? Cheers!
