What made you choose Thomson Road as the track for this vid as I literally ran the Subaru and the Escort there about an hour ago back to back, but haven't used that track for a quite a while!!

That's Brian's voodoo magic or is it that cam behind you? I think it is coincidence. Reason that I choose this track is because the replays with the palmtrees and other exotic vegetation looks great. At least that's what I think.

Voodoo Magic, Brian's hidden cam (oh hang on that sounds a bit dodgy), coincidence or the universe's way of saying just how good Fat-Alfies tracks are - all i know is it is a brilliant track and looks great with the new clouds and sun glaring over the trees and I should race on it more often as I get caught out by some of those corners :D

Enjoyed that video by the way - looked great in 4k/2k
 
I tried creating a standalone 2020 AMG GT3 with the AGU files, but I just cannot seem to get it to work. It's days like these that I start to wonder why I bother with this modding business...

Specific instructions for this car:
1. In ks_mercedes_amg_gt3, rename the data.acd file 0data.acd.
2. Copy data_2020.acd from AGU's RAR file into the folder. Rename it to data.acd.
3. Open CM, find ks_mercedes_amg_gt3. Unpack data.
4. Make a copy of ks_mercedes_amg_gt3 folder into cars folder. Rename it to ks_mercedes_amg_gt3_2020.
5. In CM find ks_mercedes_amg_gt3_2020. Pack data. Then open the folder and delete "data" folder.
6. Extract contents of AGU's RAR file into ks_mercedes_amg_gt3_2020.
7. In CM, go to ks_mercedes_amg_gt3_2020. Replace sound with ks_mercedes_amg_gt3.
The new car will work properly now.
8. Go to ks_mercedes_amg_gt3. Delete data folder and data.acd. Rename 0data.acd to data.acd to restore it.

I had to remove the standalone pack link. I hope these instructions will help you.

Yes.
It wouldn't show in release notes though, its a minuscule update. Blamer and I were fussing with the file structure and .ini's wouldn't install into tracks/loaded when drag and dropping tracks into CM, now it does. Dont know if theres anything else between the two.

Ford Escort RS Cosworth Group A

Changed suspension physics, changed differentials , increased turbocharger pressure (the previous one was driving like a n group, power dropped above 5 thousand rpm) and some other things.
Changed rims, shaders setting, my realistic exhaust pipe shots, changed sound to resemble gr.a escort and others.

Download and test, photos and opinions are welcome.

Really nice mod. Went for a test drive (only time for 2 laps tho) and it behaves very well.

One thing that I had to change, was the engine taking damage at 7750 RPM, while the engine limiter is at 7900 RPM.
No big deal, as I have changed the damage to 8500 RPM.

Concerning to 'PATCH' in Control settings being missed. Do you know if it was fixed, or is it in being work in a patch?

Nope not that, its all fine with sol 1.42 so will stick with that for now as i can live without 3d clouds, although they do look great.

I even messed about with the stuff above all the head lights in bad weather stuff, it did absolutely nothing at all at '0' compared to the numbers pictured..

Very good, I liked the 50's pilots version, (driver_pudding). One question, is there any way to use the basic helmet color other than the pilot's standard? I made several modifications to cars from the 50s, including the color of the helmet, but they are not finding any parameters to modify. Thank you very much in advance.

Yes and Yes. If you were a fan of CART back in 1999-2000 then go for it, tons of skins, car is excellent.
Then all the hideous years went by with the Gomer League (IRL), lawn dart, back breaking flying cars and things started to get better in 2018. Grab that one too, they're both excellent. Hopefully they release an update for the new aero screen, its the same tub.

I am doomed to love this car and to watch it other to drive it!;))) Hope RTM will make it soon and it leaks fast;)

I really cant figure how absolute every other car and track loads exept this ID.R and that in mine gaming PC with CSP etc and on other Vanila one AC....and you guys report that is ok for you! That is absolute mistery!;)

Can you guys post the fix here please? I am having the same issue Krassi was having where the ID.R would not load, It wont load for me either and he says that he was provided a fix for it, but he never posted that fix here . so no one else has the fix except him.

Final drive ratios all wrong. The lower four of them easily pin the tach and the theoretical top speed in the fifth (173 mph/277 kph) will never be reached. So...go-kart tracks or the Mobilgas Economy Run. Speaking of: it gets worse gas mileage than a Corvette.
