Actually, you just need to change this in drivetrain.ini:

[AUTO_SHIFTER]
UP=7000
DOWN=4100
SLIP_THRESHOLD=0.95
GAS_CUTOFF_TIME=0.190

And I guess the same for AI, not tried it already
Perfect! Thank you very much! :cheers:
Thanks again to Guerilla Mods for the updates to the GT4 cars. Appreciate all the new skins too. :)
Looks like Guerilla is grabbing the skins from RD and adding to their files. 👍 Hopefully Arjanren creates some European GT Series liveries for the McLarean 570S and Porsche Cayman 718.

Thanks @Blamer and @Sylana82 for your quick support. Tried above suggestion without succes.

Deleted the car folder, redownloaded and reinstalled manually. Then updated to CSP 1.48. Then in CSP activated and deactivated each extension from top to bottom. Also played around with different resolutions, swapped between 2D and VR. Changed PP filters and turned them off completely. Each time the same error message.

I decided to test some other cars as well. About 30 in total of different brands. And now comes the funny/strange part. All others cars work but out of six Ferrari Pista versions two off them gave the exact same error screen. The Ferrari 488 Pista Piloti Ferrari and the default Ferrari 488 Pista by Zari team (the other four versions by Beto work perfectly). So I assume it has nothing to do with your Ferrari 488 GT4 mod itself.

Anyone any other idea how to fix this? I finally did some file/folder comparison between a working Ferrari 488 and this one. Is that the right direction?

When you delete CSP you also have to delete the ini files.

I deleted mine from:
steamapps\common\assettocorsa\extension\config
Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\extension

That's a weird error, honestly, If it appears only these three 488 models (mine included). Can you test the Kunos 488 GTB, please?

Fixed!!

I'll admit..Thanks to your suggestion I discovered there was no original Kunos Ferrari GTB in my long car list. Then I checked in Steam library. Seems that I was missing the Tripl3 Pack after all those years and never missed it.
Installed it and also your 488 GT4 works (and drives and looks) great!!! Never too old to learn
Hopefully we all have a good laugh about it in this 'strange time'.

Chaps,

Does anyone know how to turn off the 2-digit year postfix on the car's name on the loading screen? In previous versions of CM/CSP, it was unticking "add year postfix to cars' name" in Settings. Now that no longer works for loading screen. I'm on newest version of CM and CSP 0.1.46.

If I understand corretly, it's simple: remove the year after the car name in CM Content screen. The year is already there in the UI and when it's also mentioned in the name you get to see (e.g.) Ferrari 488 GT4 2019 '19.
These last two digits are from the year in the name.

Thanks !
A question though: it took me a while to realize the lumirank is not visible in showroom or previews (or should it be ?).
It was there in game allright but it did not work, no lights were glowing.
Some setting I'm missing ?
Extension folder is ignored in CM showroom. Hence the reason a3rdperson made a kn5 for previews.
Maybe Ilja could do something in future CM updates.

Just tested. Lumirank doesn't work for me too.

Change in ..\assettocorsa\extension\config\gui.ini
YEAR_POSTFIX=1 to YEAR_POSTFIX=0

For the V8 Mustang - anyone think the car looks narrow? Basically not as wide as you would expect. Can this be fixed? Seems like a ratio is off...

All others look normal.

Thanks !

It works the same as M4MKey stuff from RD ligths config, through extension and without touching original kn5. Digital_panels goes into unpacked data (CM -> unpack, repack)

Forgot that part :embarrassed:
(Had to re-enable the dev mode in CM because it had been reset).
Now Lumirank works as intended.
Thanks 👍

Not quite. To use your example, I want the loading screen to display "Ferrari 488 GT4." I want to add the year in the car name in CM Content screen when needed... such as Audi R18 Quattro 2014 and Audi R18 Quattro 2015.

The fix is this...
Change in ..\assettocorsa\extension\config\gui.ini
YEAR_POSTFIX=1 to YEAR_POSTFIX=0
Thanks, slider666! :cheers:

Ah yes, I though you meant the double year mention...

No. You probably opened up CM right when he put that CSP file in and then he decided it wasn't ready and removed it real quick. You're CM shows the new version because it registered there but has been removed. I don't know how you can get it to quit displaying but I would bet he's going to reinstate it sooner than later anyways.

This track is really good ! But the track surface is really bumpy, mainly for Indy cars, and there is a shader problem with the kerbs, they appear too dark (See screenshot below). Correcting those would make it perfect !!

There already is an attempt to fix the color of the kerbs which worked for most of them in my case but not all of them for some reason. Keep going after the post you quoted. Plus this track is pretty bumpy.

I did a couple of laps (stock settings) on vanilla Imola (because It's a Ferrari !) with a great pleasure, thank you !

I got no issue/or message during the loading with it (I'm using CSP 0.1.46 with the very last version of CM), all my drivers are up to date (last nVidia released today !).

I just noted two (little) issues :
- no indication about using the lights (dashboard got the led but, here, It doesn't appear),
- no glowing brakes.

I repeat, the car is a pleasure to drive, to see and to hear (^^), thanks a lot again ! :bowdown: ;)

I like it, but it's not as pleasant to drive as Mr. Waffles reworked Hyundai Genesis. It's BoP puts it square in the GT4 pack, but unlike the Genesis, which is fast right out of the box, the 488's default setup takes quite a bit of ifddling before it feels right to me. My suggested setup is attached.
