Hey guys, I want to add more pit boxes and start positions to certain tracks. I downloaded Blender but I have a problem. This is probably a stupid question, but how can I open the track in Blender?

I recently started running into this problem myself after the updates in CM, although I'm unsure if it even related to CM, Sol 1.5. or if I need to change my Nvidia driver (Hopfully not..) It usually happens after quitting track day against the AIs with Guerrilla's GT4 cars. Any guesses anyone?

Hey everyone, is there any way of adjusting the previews for the cars? Mine are pretty dark, probably due to my monitor adjustments(eye issues). Hopefully there is a way.

Click Ctrl+Shift+P in car screen. A preview windows will pop up. You can set brightness and other scene settings on the toolbox. Don't forget to save your preset after you adjust your settings.

I had this yesterday. It was after I cancelled a practice because I realized I had forgotten to change time of day. It was still loading when I did that and I got the same message. But my PC was blocked which forced me to reboot. Afterwards it did not happen again.

Yeah I forgot to point that out. After getting that message my computer mouse stop working. I then have to force open task manager and force close the game. I guess AC is still running in the background even after it CTD'd. It's extremely infuriating! but I guess I not the only one suffering. Hopefully x4fab and others take a look at this...

That was the first thing I tried, but in task manager AG was not running. Mouse was moving but I couldn't click anything, hence my reboot...

Did anyone check the memory load in task manager? I had it this week twice after a full lap of Nordschleife with 10AI and memory usage was >95% (I have 32Gb). Only possibility was to hard reset my PC. Not sure what caused this? My first thought was the track optimization? Now after reading this I'm in doubt. Was it CM/AC or the track Nords Tourist BTG?

I'm impressed by the tech but to me the old 2D Sol skyboxes still have much more convincing cloud formations than these big floating balls of cotton wool. I'm sure they'll get better though.

I agree with you Masscot. To my eyes, the 2D cloud formations in SOL look far more like what I see when I look up. With the current 3D rendering, the cloud spacing is too regular, the cloud shapes too regular and the cloud altitude is also too regular.

My issue with the 3d clouds is not so much how they look, I kind of like that aspect, but what make me turn them of is the way they appear and disappear, the transition is quite abrupt and looks nothing like real clouds are behaving.

It can depend on your Time Multiplier setting...have you checked ?

This happened to me a couple of time yesteday to when trying the Nordschleife mod from RD.

It can depend on your Time Multiplier setting...have you checked ?

Time multiplier makes it worst but it is still there at very low time progression.

an other issue I have is that in VR even using sol vr pp filter the brake lights reflect on tarmac during the day except in tottaly sunny weather. Sol vr pp filter use to cure that but not anymore. I wish I knew what to adjust in the pp filter to get rid of that.

Exciting news for me, the Genesis GT4 mod has been featured over on Assettoland! This is the first mod I’ve ever had hosted anywhere permanently.

Little update, of A1 Ring,
I t will be more or less a mix of 97-98 f1 edition, I personnally prefer A1 logo over Foster in the start finish line
I have changed as well the ribble strip to original greenish color
Hereare some screens, for the moment all the kunos ads are replaced, I will add some more Ads in the day, Marlboro, Campari for most.

In CM you can go to content->cars-> select a car->arrowbutton next to update previews->preset-> chose one of your liking

If i want RD drama i'll log on over there.... which unlike you, i can..

I think it was the fact that RD can't police it all every second, so a simple report function from others is used. Instead of simply saying "this mod isn't scratch made can it be removed.."
He said words to the effect of...
"WHY CAN'T YOU MODS DO YOUR JOBS BLAH BLAH BLAH MOAN MOAN MOAN!!"

He got banned for a few days and decided to carry on the drama on a totally different site, which has loads of non scratch mode mods.

All of this happened not long after that GT4 hyundi got binned over there.....so....you know, coincidence...

We can do it with CM, but with this car it doesn't work. I don't understand why.

Why use a V8 sound for the G65? I'd personally recommend either the sound from the standard Huayra (Same engine family) or the S70 AMG by CsaWee for the G65, it isn't a twin turbo, but at least it's a Merc V12 and sounds similar to the real thing.

task manager AG was not running. Mouse was moving but I couldn't click anything, hence my reboot...

I found that you can just sign out and sign back in and you get control back of the mouse. Don't need a full restart.

We are able to change the cars sounds with the CM.
If you dont have it, grab it. you'll not regret.

Yeah, I know, I switched the sounds for mine already, I was just confused why it used a V8 sound in the first place, and was giving suggestions for others to use.

Also, I definitely don't regret buying CM!!!

I'm also getting a slight pause and egg-timer when completing the first lap of a race, something that last happened maybe a year ago. Looks like whatever caused it back then is back.

But why does it bother you so much? It happens all the time and it's RD's policy, so their site to police. It'll get reported almost as soon as it appears by a whole host of eager beavers and taken down once a moderator has investigated and deemed it to be in violation.

latest crash today totally corrupted python, had to run an integrity check
now all default skins and previews and many other tweaked things are back
