After a long time I tried Vallelunga and noticed it has no grassfx present. Is it supposed to have it or not?

BTW, unofficially updated this fine 911, fixed transparent door/mirror bug + added racelogic, but not sure if I should upload it. :D

Thanks, thanks and Thanks!!!

In CM Show room we can visualize the collider, it appears as a red box and we can modify it to fit the car changing data in collider.ini found in car date. When we make the red box appear their is also a multicolor contour that is suppose to match the car shape. How can we alter that shape (collider.kn5) in case it does not match the car shape and what does that shape represent?

You'll need 3D software. I use Blender so I can only tell you how to do it there?

Hey guys, I've been working on a skin and tune based off of my main protagonist's car. Should I wait until I publish my comic to release the skin and tune?
Here's a teaser of the skin.
PR35 sneak peek.png

I've published other car skins of characters from the comic on RaceDepartment. I just feel like this one is special.
The BMW M1 ProCar is the closest car I could find that looks like the protagonist's car.

Wow, That BMW Dixi has to be the slowest mod ever for AC. It made me laugh to drive but it isn't brilliant. The front tyres clip through the arches, the back tyres (and sometimes the front tyres) do that weird thing that @Fanapryde mentioned, and there's a glitchy shimmering effect in the cabin that gets annoying. I think what it really needs is a man with a red flag walking in front of it ;)

@Sylana82 Just had a race at Deutschlandring with a stacked field of your 488 GT4s (great fun by the way) and noticed the Lumirank works as intended in game and shows the correct position but in replays everyone is on 001 and it doesn't change for the whole replay. I haven't tried it with the other cars like the Merc GT3 that have the lumirank but to be fair your Ferrari is the first car I've driven where I actually noticed it working properly. Is this a limitation of AC or is it something I can fix in a config?

Editing this to say it does it with the Merc gt3 too. No biggie it looks like it's AC's fault

Correct. Read it last week somewhere that this has to do with the kind of replay system that does not use that particular data for lumirank.

Personally I can't bring myself to drive modern cars on vintage tracks. Vintage cars on modern tracks is ok of course but not the other way around. I'm weird like that :odd:

I'm not fussy lol. I like the challenge of slapping something only designed for a race track on to some bumpy roads and then trying to get it round the first few corners without crashing. :D

Ah right, it looked kinda weird to see everyone in 1st place in the replay lol. I'm just amazed at the fact it works in game, although I can't see it half the time cause I'm in last position

...

Blender downloaded and installed, ready to rock!

CM Showroom > Unpack KN5 >

Open Blender (delete the camera and stuff) > File, Import, FBX Open saved from above >*** Select all, and shift click anything to make it active > CTRL+J to join it into one > Edit Mode > Select All > Mesh, Convex Hull > Mesh, Clean up, Decimate Geometry (x0.100) > Mesh, Clean up, Limited Dissolve > Rename Object and Mesh 'collider' > Delete all other Objects > Add material to Object called 'collider' > Delete all other materials > Rotate the Mesh not the Object if needed > File, Export, FBX, use Apply Scalings 'FBX All' >

3DSimEd > Open saved from above > Explode all > Export as FBX Binary (6.0)>

ksEditor > Open save from above > Select mesh in tree > Select material Tab > assign material GL > Save persistance > Save as Car (No Texture), collider.kn5

If it is now in the wrong place, go back to the 3DSimEd step and move it about.

***For closed wheelers I delete the wheels first, for open wheelers I cut off all the wheels at the level of the chassis floor.

Sorry got a bit esoteric there, just point your mouse at stuff and click like there is no tomorrow, as that's how I learnt.

IYAM, I think it should be BoPed to comport with the Guerilla/Rollovers standards; the Kunos cars are so 2017.

Edit: I said that before I drove the v1.2 Ferrari GT4. It's still a mite too fast (in line with Kunos' older GT4s), but the default setup suits the car better. I only had to make minor tweaks.

I just took the kunos GT4's and bumped them up alittle bit in power to match. That's what sucks about only restricting BoP, like in the Drive section of Content Manager, cars that are too slow will never catch up to the others and it makes no sense slowing down a whole pack of cars. Especially when they're the newest group we have of the class.

Briefly banned from RD, please tell me this isn't the full car you uploaded. I swear it's like just choose to forget that RD doesn't allow mods that aren't scratch made. Even their own moderators seem to forget that.

In fairness I am sure these moderators have families they are thinking about and things to do and prepare for etc.
I mean we ARE in crazy times right now and for me, i couldn't give a stuff about things like this and care less even more that RD doesn't close them down within 0.0001 seconds of them appearing...

So f in what?
Really..... get a grip man.

Hanging out on here where nothing is scratch made must be a form of self harm to you...

Hunday i20 WRC is out at RD.
Edit: We must lower the UP REVS inside ai.ini, or the ai will not move from the starting grid tho.

The car does not look that great and while AI is rather slow, they all got from the starting line without issues (grid of 16).
It's really VERY planted and grippy (I used stock, so Slicks M), a bit overdone I think.
What did happen was that 3 or 4 of the AI pitted after the first lap.

Edit: it's a manual, should be 6sp sequential...and it's not Japanese but South Korean...

Edit2: car is already removed from RD :D

Actually I like it here, I'd just prefer if people didn't post stuff not scratch made to a website where that stuff isn't allowed. Car companies don't care usually but the people who make these originally are the ones that go after sites like RD. In fact, iirc the Beam.ng devs nearly got a Cease and Desist letter because someone uploaded a stolen track from I think GTR2 to the forums. Also, "get a grip" really? lol

First of all, thank you all for your comments and reviews! :gtpflag:

Huh, didn't know they're faster than Ks cars. Because when I drove them to compare times, the Guerillas/Rollovers are always approximately 1 or 2 secs slower than the Kunos one for me. Default settings at Imola.
Guess I am just a bad driver then.

Welp, time to BOP the Ferrari again. But then I need you all as test drivers. Anyone? :D

If you need a slow driver (with a controller) I'll test it for you ;)

That's true, for example if someone posted an edited Derek's car on RD that might be the end of them like it was for AC Cars Reworked website. They had a really cool website too...what a shame that was. I know that wouldn't happen to a site like RD but still you don't want any trouble caused for such a great free resource.

I think it will come down to which track you use to test. Your latest version of the 488 is faster than the previous version, but seems to match Guerilla GT4 cars. I only have Kunos Cayman GT4 which does a similar lap time and Maserati GT4, which is 1.8" slower around Okutama (where I test ALL my cars in stock settings) but that's an older lap time. After 16.000km on that track, I may need to give that Maserati another go though...

What a great little car!

Mini review. Drives great! Love chucking it around corners at the Nords.

As some people mention, that windowflap between the seats are really irritating(espesially with real mirror), Paint is a little to chrome (looks good in the CM Showroom but at the track it kinda sticks out.
And we need to find a better more realistic VTEC sound for the car :D

keep up the good work :)

So ummm are there any controller based leagues? I seriously wouldn't mind racing online with some of my own kind.
I honestly don't know to be fair. There must be some kind of handicap system for controller users. I will look into it after I've played a bit of Warzone :D
