Ha. I'm jealous Blamer. I haven't got below 1.48 yet!

What track conditions/time of day and ambient temperatures are you using for the session and how much fuel do you leave in the tank?

I'm not even trying to do it on the official Dallara esport site because I can't make my highly-modified AC/CSP/SOL configuration work with it. I don't really want to meddle with resetting everything just to confirm how slow I am compared to the aliens at the top of the leaderboard.

Indeed, I will give Suzuka a try today. I don´t like the PatrikPats version that much, it looks to cartoony IMO. The Brno track from the same modder is also one of my favs. I doubt this guy won´t do any tracks does he? Last post dated by 2016...

I use the nice Suzuka with 3 layouts by the Reboot project for any cars or races other than F1 cars, then I'll use the PatrikPats 2018 version. As the 2018 version is based on the Reboot track, I copied and renamed the light config from that one to load with the Reboot one and I haven't "noticed" any problems as of yet, grass and lights all seem to work fine 👍

Servers are set to clear at 12:00, only TC and ABS are allowed.
I drive with the fuel needed to complete 7/8 laps (maybe 18 litres) because tyres take at least two laps to go in temperature (with default setup at least). I just changed a bit of camber and toe trying to help heating the tyres up, a couple of clicks

@xezez EDIT: you don't have to change AC/CSP/Sol/BBQ settings, I didn't and it works
just select a server from CM in the online tab (search for Dallara Esports to easily find 'em), then just set the pwd and join

You touch a fondamental problem when we come to pictures etc
On my computer, I got something really close to reality but on the computer of someone else it could be flashy pink or blue or green, depend of his own setting.
So, on my side, everything is calibrate (screen etc), calibrate white, grey, different color (red, green, blue or yellow, cyan, pink), calibrate contrast, saturation, calibrate luminosity.

If everyone on his side, calibrate is computer/screen set up, everyone can enjoy the same picture almost the same way.
Almost because there is still the problem with your eye and my eyes, that, we cannot calibrate, someone who suffer from "daltonism" see the picture differently.

Hey no issue pal. I just wondered about your preview pictures since they all look like the photo has been taken around midnight instead of mid day.

Hi GIBBONS. Just wondering if you've made a light config for the Dallara Stradale by any chance? I may be mistaken, but I got the impression from one of your earlier posts that you may have been doing some tinkering with the car and thought I'd just ask in case. :)

I have tinkered with the car yes, on the lights I do indeed have a config, however for some reason that I cannot fathom, the front lights don't cast any light at night, like regardless of what I do they cast absolutely nothing ahead of the car. I've tried editing the KN5, shaders, replacing textures, material properties, setting the entire light cluster as a source, nothing makes the slightest difference, which irritates me more than you might imagine as the rear lights work perfectly! :banghead:

@GIBBONS And maybe a good setup too!
I can't manage to lower my 1:46:4 @ Imola (that's the first Event of the Dallara Esport Competition)

Afraid not, I decided that I wasn't going to bother embarrassing myself by entering the competition. Seeing as I'm approaching 10,000km on my preferred test track and STILL improving my times and finding better lines, there'd be absolutely no point in giving Imola a go as I've only driven a handful of laps there in total and barely know the circuit!

like i said previously, first, do you have a computer/screen set up calibrate or calibrate the right way, now windows got little tools to calibrate set up, better than nothing.
Color, luminosity are really subjectives.
If you have said, there is a texture missing here or there, it's a fact and everyone can see that a texture is missing. It's literal.
Here, in the case of luminosity, it's an interdependent designation like tall or small, it's always relative, hope you can touch the point i m trying to point :)

ERL Goiania v1.2 - New AI and track limits by LiquidSkyMan + start grid fix by Foxeway.rar
Link: https://mega.nz/file/DCQxAaxC#9MojvZRS_ZtJZN6e903jmWA9zMzQGlbUpsu935DJC8M

I fixed the issue with AI cars stopping suddenly at the start of the race. I spread the start positions apart and created a new layout for the track with this fix implemented, the orignal layout has been left untouched.

LiquidSkyMan provided new AI lines and track limits for original layout, I copied them into the new layout as well :)

They drive me nuts. Can´t they release just a whole package instead of giving all 3 days some small updates? :banghead:

Hi, I was looking on RD for japan circuits and i saw that Tiago Lima has most of the Ebisu circuits, does someone know if he has plans of mixing all of them to make the hole Ebisu Complex?:bowdown:

Ive seen mods that update through content manager and wish other modders can do the same. However im not really sure how that feature works but it would be very nice if they are able to.

In that case you get warned by a small (yellow) arrow. But if you let CM do the update, it take smuch longer nthan doing it manual. So @Fall Guy poiunt still stands, right ?

I contacted them after the F92A was updated to let them know the driver's head and helmet was visible in VR.

I also let them them know that they really need to lower the engine audio levels of their cars--they're EAR-BLEEDING LOUD and drown out all other in-game audio (radio and ambient).

They responded quickly--fixed the head/helmet issue and sent me an email. I thanked them for the update, but stated again that the audio still needs to be fixed. Until they do, I either should add notes to the titles of their cars to turn down the volume (or risk waking up the neighbors), or modify all the sound parameters in their mods, and remember to retain those settings when they provide a new update.

This issue is minor, but it really needs to be addressed with their mods. Their cars are great... but MY EARS!

You are right and I agree so far about the volume of the engine sound in cockpit view (VR for You and... cockpit view here !) and I can imagine easily the suffering of your ears !
I only play with speakers (I got 2 headphones but I don't like the feeling) with an internal PCIe soundcard which got analog and optical outputs.

It's not a solution (the real solution will be a decreasing of the ASR engine sounds between 60 and 70%) but with the remote control of my soundcard, I can easily switch between the analog and/or optical output.
I set the optical ouput as less main volume than the analog output so, when I use an ASR model, I use the optical setting !

Take care and stay safe ! ;)
