So i have been tinkering with this BMW for the past month. It was missing on the M1party.
It has the disco wheels from Pcars2, and a little fix to the right headlight, which was transparent.
The base was the M1 from AC Legends Bazza&Pitone.
Physics and all data unchanged, except the blurred objects file.
5 Skins included made by myself, the #88's haven't been posted to Racedepartment yet.
If anyone wants to add anything, like lods, animations, and whatnot you are welcome, as i still don't know how to implement that.
I don't pretend to own anything here, it is all for the enjoyment of the game.

So I have transferred everything (I think) to a version of the M1 Procar that I always use. The bmw_m1_procar_plus_lods (includes a sound mod). It works perfectly as far as I can tell, but the only thing is that the lods don't work due to the changed wheels.
Maybe someone who is experienced in making lods can do this? Here is the folder of the car:

Some weird stuff with that update though, all my Kunos cars have been updated again, all deleted skins (did it by myself) are there again, and the UI folder has some weird entry in there:

I had that pre-update with some of the career screen previews

I see the copy of badges in car’s UI folder, but it’s not in all Kunos cars. Strange.

I don’t see any deleted skins returning.
 
that is, do you have this problem on acu_okutama-circuit too? I wonder if the author of the track knows about this problem or not. maybe he doesn’t know, I myself did not notice this problem the first time, only when I was chasing with bots I saw that the bots were losing the shadow from the car being on the road markings.
There's a pretty substantial further update to Okutama in the works, building on the recent update from a couple of weeks ago. Lots of significant improvements to look forward to.
This issue with the road marking will certainly be looked at before release.
 
Isn't that the '93-'94 Dauer Porsche (a remodelled 962; 13 of which were made, and one of which won the '94 Le Mans 23-hour_?

It's simply the Kunos short tail with the fins hacked off. It represents no particular car but acts to serve as a visible difference along with the physics changes between the 962 vs 962C.

It 'could' have been a real car, as so many teams used bespoke body work on this very popular Porsche.
 
Ive renamed it for my Custom Championship but this is the latest version with the transition from dawn to dusk and night along with lighting
EDIT: Forgot to add its also got RainFX baked in and is the ACU/reworked jk0011 v1.21 version

I thought I'd driven all the best AC city circuits but there were a few new ones in there for me.

Have you seen Paris and Chicago Street Circuit?

Those were the only two main ones missing for me though Circuit de PAU is also excellent of course.

Oh and the latest version of CSP has wrecked the London city track.
 
Yeah I've just tested it again just now on 0.1.73 and it's working fine despite my having lots of issues with objects being missing on the track the other day on the same version of CSP.

Must have been some kind of local issue/my mistake

Hi all.. reaching out for some "Race Cancelled" insights.

I first started getting this message after installing Legion's new Avus track and Auto Union and Mercedes cars from his site, but even after I deleted all that content and try loading any other cars and tracks, even Kunos ones, I still get the Race Cancelled message.

I did try running a Steam file integrity check, which did find about 200 files to download again.

You really should be getting logs, this sound very odd.

CM>settings>content manager>general> [tick] Check if Assetto Corsa is flagged to use Fault Tolerant Heap and offer to fix the issue.

Or try this: delete dwrite.dll from AC main folder. Reinstall CSP from inside CM.

That box is already ticked. And I tried the delete and reinstall, to clarify.
 
Cleveland GP - no cones, no [static] balloons, latest skin rework

This should be all - it brought back the spectators, hides the cones and the balloons and has my latest skin included. This file contains the skins folder and the extension folder (no track!!)

good evening. yesterday there was time, and I rode on
acu_okutama-circuit and noticed such a problem, the car falls a little under the asphalt and loses shadows when it is on the road markings (everything is fine on clean asphalt). I don’t know if it’s just me or it’s a common problem. I solved the problem by replacing the shader in the materials of the desired object. I'm not an expert, I don't know how correct this is.
That's great you've found a solution to this shadows problem. I love the look of that track but wouldn't use it as the shadows under the AI were so weird (non-existent). I'm looking forward to trying the track out again - it's an excellent track and looks so good now with the various updates made by those here.

The amg is from bonny, also both ferrari and audi are made by masterkey/Barrikad, put the same name so it's not confusing.

I wonder if it´s possible to do the following:
This is the ACF Circuito da Boavista 2007 track in Oporto. I used to live here. And it really breaks my heart to see that this track has a major, major flaw. There´s no sense or perspective of ocean. Is it possible just to erase a part of the mountain scenery and prolongue the sea? It makes a HUGE difference while driving. Perhaps these pics can show exactly what I mean in comparison to the real pic I also post here...:)

This one's really great. I have several M1's mods, but this one I like best this far.
5 skins included (which are very well done if I may say so.) Care to do the full livery lineup in same good quality for ProCar ' 79 (and maybe '80)?

My first intention was always to make the skins that were missing. It is time consuming because even looking at the rfactor procar mod you see a lot of mistakes and errors, so i keep spotting real photos, models and videos just ot try and sort the real logos and positions.
I am currently doing your country drivers, Hezemans and Lammers #99. :)
 
I am making some skins for Luke's Ferrari. I have put a tan interior into James Cottingham's car, which shows up nicely in Custom Showroom, but when I go on track in VR the seats are a dingy grey colour. Any ideas?

I am aware that because James' car is RHD the extinguisher sticker is on the wrong side. I would love a RHD version but in the absence of that, do you think I should put the stickers on the other side? I wouldn't want the marshals getting confused.

Hey go into the track folder, then into the extension folder, then ext_config.ini and paste this at the bottom, this'll hide the mountains.
