But you're also amongst the handful that's actually producing legitimate scratch made content. It's actually your stuff and if that's what works for you and you can get some decent cash from it then that seems more than fair to me.
Yeah, I was just about to say the same.
There are Patreons that offer good quality original stuff, but for every one of these legitimate Patreons there's fifty shysters offering stolen content or just complete and utter garbage... yet still somehow manage to keep their subscribers.
Mind you, 50% of the planet is statistically more stupid than someone of average intelligence, so...

RELEASE: Renault Megane Maxi - Renault Finance Skin

To me, arguably the best livery on these.

Enjoy :)

I made this clip showing not only the Legion links for the car and Reboot Team for the track, but also yours for the skins.
It is true that from an engineering point of view the car is something surreal, but it is also true that it is magnificently insane!

SPOILER: with twelve liters of fuel I only covered two laps and 800 meters (to be generous)

Video thread is this way WHERE LINK ;)

My Point of view, from the other side of this, as somebody that actually runs an AC Patreon account.

Having my Patreon grow so quickly, has definitely allowed me to produce a lot more tracks than I would have been making if it didn't exist.

The income from Patreon, has meant I can cut back on my actual main job a fair amount, and use the time to make tracks.
Really, the support has been a bit overwhelming. I've said it before, and i'll say it again here. Originally I started it to cover my Google Drive subscription of like £8 a month or whatever it costs. Also as a place that wasn't Race Department, where I could post work in progress stuff without getting review bombed by people who don't understand what a work in progress project actually is.

I don't think I've ever deleted a post from it, so it's quite cool (imo) to go back and see v1 of a track, compared to the finished project. At this point its basically turned into a museum of everything I've made over the past couple of years.

And at the end of it, when i'm happy with a project and can satisfyingly call it finished - it's still free for everyone on RD or whatever Russian website nicks it, and re-hosts it.
I agree that Patreon contributes to making the passion of many - who have skills, not like me who don't know anything about computer science - a real job, but it is also true that some like RTM / Ex Mods really ask for figures important for mods that are not even licensed products and perhaps with dubious performance.
On the customer side, if I have to go after so many modders on Patreon, then the game is not worth the candle because it would become like iRacing. So, at least not for mods made on measures, it would be acceptable for some to lower the prices of their subscriptions a little (which will always guarantee them certain economic income compared to the undoubted donations they could receive with PayPal)

Goodnight

So my AC doesn't want to open in CM.
After pressing run, he enters the running screen, but with everything dark..
Can anyone help??

Edit: reinstall SOl and others

Here's the link for the Mini Pack (1980-1981), some prints of the cars and a preview of the Mini Pack (1979, we already have the Lotus 79 and the Ferrari 312 T4), for those who just want to have a little fun, don't mind with the perfection of official games.

They are just "simple" conversions, just some parts of the cars, that we have in other simulators but that Assetto Corsa gives a different "face" by virtue of being more current than rFactor and GTR2.

Can you do 1979 next please? I'd really like to drive that arrows A2

No kidding! amazing work on this

BTW here is the car that we're working on, just in case anyone is wondering what all the fuss is about between Lorelord and me.

It's a "from scratch" build of the Alfa Romeo SE 048SP; very open to any contributions of skills, information around the car, the Lancia LC2 it was based on, the engines etc.. information is hard to come by as, presumably, is the case for most of the mods on here. But who knows, maybe one of you fine people has the key to some more knowledge about it.

Alfa Romeo SE 048SP WIP Promo #25 - Reduced.png

Ferrari 458 Italia. The car I always get back to. I'm making some skins for it. Having problems with the license plate. I can make the look of the custom plate but it looks odd because of the mipmaps and I have absolutely no idea how to create mipmaps. I tried being clever, just renaming the plate_D.dds as plate_MM.dds. No use, obviously. So, help?

Plate D is diffuse, Plate NM is the normal map, they do two different things and are both needed.
Ac also doesn't require mipmaps to be made on textures so that's likely not the issue.
Can you show what's going on?

Sorry for resurrecting an ancient post - Did you/anyone ever find out if there is a mod?
There was someone on Facebook which I chatted with long ago where he made a complete 3D model of it (with its engine included!) mainly for 3D printing it, I asked him if he could give it to me since I wanted to convert it to AC so badly, he told me that he still had a few things to work on, then after a long time I asked him progress on it and told me that it didn't turn out that well like decimate its bodywork and rework other things. Then there was another italian modeler called Lorenzo Prati who also made a 3D model of it, however it remains private to this day and I thought it looked less accurate than Giovanni's one which I have pics of it from Messenger.

Regardless, that's another car I saw in person inside Alfa's Museum in Arese, Milan in their vault full of one-offs, prototypes and concepts like the SE048 SP, not sure if you're considering to model that one as well in the future of perhaps you want that model from him if you happen to have Facebook that is.

Thanks for the update Tony - I am considering modelling it; Researching the SE048 took me down the road of the 164, and I'm smitten. It's another car that appeals to me (and also the dynamicist I'm working with), being a little bit of an Alfa enthusiast.

The appeal of being able to breathe life into these unraced "what if" ghost legends is strong, I want to drive them and see what they would be like.

Anyway - one step at a time.

Maybe we can pick this up in due course if it does indeed turn out that there are no mods of it.

guys, i've finded this mod about the Jordan F1 in the web. The file is named vrc, but I knew they only did LMP / GTP and very few Williams. Not the same cars that ASR makes

Link where i've taked the mod: https://modsfire.com/Y47T1bZgeG64099

Link video (yes, my channel and you are free to do what you want):

VRC did also F1 cars.
This one is called (for copyright reasons)

Formula Alpha - 1991 - J91

No way mate! I immediately remove the link and connect their one (maybe it will be even better because it is updated). Thanks again for the info!

Hi, can you reupload this 2 cars please.
I've find only one link https://mega.nz/file/AAFUyISC#dNZHWUo6WdsANIca5a7o_rbHANF4Err3iaBx3qnsNLE from Assettoland. About the mod from be-modding i haven't idea

As CrisT86 said, VRC did F1 cars but on their old site are no longer avaible directly, only by direct link (dunno why). Stay up to date on their content on their new site

Can't we find anyone who would be able to recover and refine this project? @Zen_tm could you work on it?
