anyone else having issues with the reboot version of sebring? (2022 skin installed) Some sections of the track the onboard cam freaks out and everything disappears, exterior cam is fine and onboard if i use right mouse to look around some angles it's fine. Any help would be appreciated (tried different cars and versions of csp, all the way down to 1.79)

I had this issue. go to CSP, extra effects & Try turning off Extra space-screen lighting. Hope it helps.

I downloaded these, but would you happen to know where to put the .bin files so that they are recognized by the app?

I put them where the maple.bin file was but they don't show in the app.
Found out that all .bin tree files that you want to use on a track goes in the trees folder of that tracks extensions folder.

I´ve had the same issue with some other tracks. Check ExtraFX --> Local Reflections (SSLR) and check if "disable for onboard cameras" is UNticked. Then it should work.

Hey guys

Does anyone have good tips for some extra tweaks for the Nvidia Graphics Settings (mixing good fps - smt better than the standard combo of CM/CSP - with better graphics)? I went trough the internet searching for stuff related to it, but I found nothing.

The only thing that I found was related to the Anisotropic config, which is way better than the one of CM/CSP.

Just noticed this in reboot Fuji Speedway....not sure if its a setting issue? In VR Mount Fuji looks like a grey triangle....

Not in VR:

it was a mix from many sources, but the base was from rf2 2021 version i guess. cheers.
Hey, damone - Thanks for coming back to me! Good to hear from you!

It's a great version, the best of IMS out there for AC, very accurate. (Except the kerbs in the chicane, but those were modified after the release.) Having great fun lapping the Road Course layout. (The GP one) The only thing I changed was reducing the damping on the kerbs as they slowed down the car too much compared to ther tracks with a 0.05 value.

That statement has been introduced by Andrew_WOT on RD, he did not give any prove and I think it was only based on screen shots from tweakguides. BTW I do not see any difference in VR.
My advice on this subject is get the knowledge of what curtain setting do, when you are comparing settings you should know what to look at.
read this: tweakguides and lots of info on the guru3D forums guru3D further from my favorites map at: https://stepmodifications.org/wiki/Guide:NVIDIA_Inspector
https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Nvidia_Profile_Inspector
I know its a reading about Nvidia inspector, but it also explains a lot of adjustments. Because I still think you have to know what you are doing, what the effects are from all those adjustments and is it worth. You have to test it by yourself, as its very personal and depends on the hardware, that my best VR settings can be on your monitor PC the worst.

I would also suggest if not notice any positive results, why use it, then I suggest to disable it in favor for ( in most cases) better FPS.

I see... thxs - the links are really smt that I wanted to start with!!!

The thing is that I don´t even use VR, only the good ol´ monitor. I undestand that some things really depend on CPU, GPU, screen, etc..., combination, which has really a lot of variables; but I believe that might have some things that can be aplicable for everyone.

As the case I stated before, of the Anisotropic config: I switched from the CM/CSP for the Nvidia configs (same thing, with 16x). I got better results (really, the difference is cleary visible), and I got a plus 2fps. And this tip I found on the RD.

But regarding the rest of the configs on the Nvidia panel, there is nothing around (correction: i found smt about FPS lock, which can cool down your GPU).

not sure if thats another version but Geroda has been working on one and I was too until Geroda announced his.

from the looks of that video the driver needs scaling, an issue I encountered as the model scaling is slightly off.

hopefully whoever releases it does a good job as the real life car is stunning. the original model itself is decent enough but hopefully the cockpit gets reworked as its a bit substandard.

Modders do not stop your ongoing work, when you notice another modder is busy with the same car.
If a car mod is good depends on personal favor and use.

As an VR user I’m always in the car, “no drivers hands” view-mode and I wanting to see lots of fine 3D details in the cockpit, while looking around with my headset. I know some spent lots of efforts in the structure of the rear lights, moveable doors/trunk, rims, detailed engine etc, while for me being inside, the gas/clutch/brake paddle is a fuzzy drawing, the shifter is not moving, dashboard/chair without the fine 3D structure, instruments are 2D and except for the tachometer static, is a bit of a deception. Believe me I did try a couple of hallelujah cars and respected paid mods that did have (some of) these aspects. We’re other users wrong about that, no, because it’s all a matter of personal taste. What for me a major is, is for others a minor and visa versa.

Also, aslong a car mod is not exceeding the sound barrier in speed, even bad made car mods can be very useful as AI opponents to keep your race historical.

edit: made some clarifications on this subject.

Especially with Geroda who likes to show off WIP pictures of mod #1 then don't talk about that mod for another couple of years lmao.

Yeah that looks very nice.
The idea for the one I've got is to imagine its a replica so has modern engine and suspension etc.
And its unlikely to get shared so basically i could put monster truck wheels on it. (i won't)
