been reading about the f355 posts, and this is my favourite mod of the car, the sega f355 challenge mod, which i found on reddit - which is meant to simulate the F355 CHALLENGE game from Sega, including the same tracks and liveries. the handling reminds me of the original SEGA F355 challenge game from 1999, on the sega dreamcast this game handled more legit simulation than GT3 on Sony PS2. Also this mod has manual transmission. climax_f1, love your mods, but the second sound you suggested to download sounds like a 4 cylinder car. this particular mod has a boring sound, but sounds realistic as an internal sound in cockpit i guess. i prefer the physics of this over the assetto garage one, mainly because i spent so many hours on this game 20+ years ago and this mod feels closer to that

This 3D-track was made for rFactor by Leschwaab, revised for GTR2 by saschalolxd. The conversion to Assetto Corsa was stared by damone13x, Rainmaker finished it.
Features:
-competitive AI
-working track map
-support for hot lap mode
-replay cameras by DaBaeda
-support for time attack mode
-26 pit boxes with working pit lane
-CSP support: RainFX, GrassFX
-simple night lights
-2 layouts: one historic correct start and the original rFactor start position
-option for bumpy and smooth road meshes in extras folder, standard is bumpy
-added option to removed 2d crowds: open the ext_config.ini in the extension folder scroll down to last ";remove 2d crowds" and set ACTIVE = 1
KNOWN ISSUES: There is a bug with CSP "lights patch v0.2.5-preview1 full" where 9 cars in front of the original layout are starting from the pits. Use CSP "lights patch v0.2.4-preview1 full" instead to get ride of this error.

Actually I like to collect the CSP bugs, but I don't like to test the circumstances. So such things are only solved if people test it themself. Something with this mod would cause it and if people find why it is caused, then I can report it. But by just saying there is a bug with that or that track with that CSP version I don't have enough details to report it...

Please read the installation carefully before you proceed
Installlation:
You need to have the ferrari_355_challenge car mod installed first.
- Back up skins folder first before you apply my update, this will allow you to customize your interior as you want.
- Most or all skin folders have their own rollcage texture color, interior paint texture color, interior leather and plastic textures.
My update will overwrite these textures.
- My update is a general update and you can customize your interior as you please.
- Copy textures in ClimaxF1_ferrari_355_challenge_texture_update into each skins folder as you want
P.S. If you don't know how to install these textures or cannot find car mod, please send me a DM and I would be more than happy to assist

Awesome, my first sound was optional. Wasn't perfect actually a bit off.
I see ACTK has included all updates including yours, awesome.
Original sound is still not to my liking, this was or is probaly one of the nicest sounding engines and just didn't get that same excitement from videos I've seen or driving the car.
Here is a new sound, very close to the original with the reverb I wanted and gets the blood flowing

What file do you put the sound into? Somewhere in the car file or the main Assetto Corsa file?

Video of my edit to the F1 GTR with specs matching the F1 LM as close as possible, since this edits the data of an official Kunos car I wasn't sure if it was safe to upload the .data file or not. Also added backfire aswell.
