hey, sorry to have caused a fuss... I just thought there was an error in the zip file folder structure (which was not the case in fact) and I posted that as a question, but rather I should have tried to install it as it was and I would have seen that it works perfectly fine as-is... sorry.
(the ui issue of CM stating no map file , was after I manually moved the content of the double folder , so that was my mistake)

No rudeness on either sides and no offense taken from either side , so it's all good!
And thanks again for all the hard work that went into this, it is much appreciated!

Thanks @jac0, it's all a very odd storm in a teacup. The only drama was imagined and the whole conversation was unnecessary. Glad you're enjoying the track on behalf of the whole team.

You really do have a way about you. I was nothing but politely pointing it out and you refuse to see it and try and dismiss my opinion as 'odd', 'drama', 'imagined', 'unnecessary'. Rules only seem to apply to everyone it seems.

Come off it. You stepped in and created drama where none existed because you felt a discussion you weren't even involved in should have caused offence to one person, when it's been shown that it actually didn't. It was all in your mind.

Having an issue with Nordschleife. There's this message when the track is loading:

When the game loads, some trees are really dark:

What's going on? Issue with CSP? CM? or what?

it clearly says you are missing texture misc_add.dds

updating the config here should fix this.

Honestly I have 0 of these installed and have cleaned my \assettocorsa\extension\config\tracks\loaded of any extra configs. When tracks are released by modders that have this convention, I convert them to standard style of /tracks/trackname/extension (same with cars except for the fonts and drivers).

Taking advantage of the comment... does anyone know if the problem with CSP Patch updates to configurations, vao, textures, etc., which caused buildings, walls, etc. to disappear, is now fixed?

That’s not the problem here, I see clearly in your screenshot that you have selected TAA or using the TAA/DLAA app from Snowy moon, because TAA can give you “ghosting” on moving objects. While at the objects that are not moving this aliasing effect is absent.

I have the same issue. It was up to date but reinstalled it anyway. It didnt help. Same message.

I don't think the people who use this place want to see conflict.
Everyone has their own way of thinking.
I'm new here, but I don't think the Masscot is what you think he is.
He has saved me a lot.
This is also a matter of personal opinion, but I don't think there's any point in finding out which side is right.
